Please feel free to share you are currently reading with me! 😄Today I am re-organizing my home library! I made a bookshelf update video about year ago, but since then my books have grown a bit and so has my need for new bookshelves. I am so excited to organize my shelves and give you a bookshelf tour - sharing a bit of my collection. I have a mixture of fiction, nonfiction, creative fiction, spiritual and inspirational books, memoirs, and classics. I thoroughly enjoyed putting this video together and hope you enjoy it! Sending all my love, Igho ❤
Have you read 'Lovely War' by Julie Berry or 'Divine Rivals' by Rebecca Ross? I don't read a lot of romance, but those two are my favourite romantasies. Also Akwaeke Emezis 'You Made a Fool of Death With Your Beauty' is one of the rare ones I've read that is not fantasy/sci-fi
Her vlog doesn't seem to be about her own beauty, although yes, she's very beautiful. I don't think she needs constant reminding of that. It's about her books, her bookshelves, and her book tour right here. JMO anyway.
This is the first video of yours that I’ve watched and I just wanna say that you have such a kind and elegant energy! Your bookshelves are also to die for 💕
I feel there is still a wonderful feeling of magic reading “kids books” as an adult one of my favorite books ever is Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and I didn’t even read it for the first time till I was 18 and since then I have read it so many times
1:06 Of *course* you have a sewing table. It’s a delight to see so many elegant and gracious creators emerging on this platform ( Ahem- the FairyFroQueen Lindsay Chris just to mention one). You are a whole vibe and I love it here. ❤
omg please make more book content!! your picks are absolutely so refreshing and unique. I haven't read anything truly of note recently, but here are some of my favorite books: I Am The Messenger - Markus Zusak The Book Thief - Markus Zusak A Thousand Splendid Suns - Khaled Husseini Gentleman's Agreement - Laura Hobson The Elegance Of The Hedgehog - Muriel Barbery The Seven Year Slip - Ashley Poston
One of my favorite books ever is actually a children’s book… Oh the Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss… and with ever new niece or nephew that I have, I will always buy it for them as a gift they can always take with them every where in their life, even into their adulthood. 🥰📚
"Slighty chaotic system for keeping things organized"...I feel so seen. Your home library looks like a dream. 🥹📚 And it's so neat seeing how others choose to organize their collections.
I am the same way with children books. I like to read them when I’ve gone through a set back of some kind. They remind me of how imagination can change any circumstance.
Loved this video and your thoughts are so refreshing and intelligent. I would love to hear your thoughts on when to buy/own a book vs library, when to keep a book vs unhaul. What is your process underlying your book collection? I appreciate it is unlikely to be a single answer but I would love to listen to you chat more about your book collection.
Igho, this is an incredibly beautiful and stylish vlog. The end result of your bookshelf reorganization is stunning. I must also say that you did a tremendous job making your shelves two-toned on the horizontal edges using wallpaper. I've never worked with wallpaper before because it seems so difficult, but you've truly nailed it. Regarding the bookshelf tour, I too have quite a lot of children's books. I find them soothing and I learn life lessons from them. I'm subscribed!
I kept pausing this video to read the titles! I love seeing the books we have in common along with the ones we don't. The bookshelves look beautiful, and everything about this video is so charming☺️
As you were talking about your favourite books from childhood, all I could think of was The Velveteen Rabbit... and then you mentioned it! It is my childhood favourite, along with The Tiger Who Came to Tea and Dear Zoo. All animal themed, I now notice! Great video, you have gained a new subscriber in me :)
Your collection is wonderful! I loved the video and your voice is perfect! I'm Brazilian and I don't usually watch foreign channels, but you captivated me! Subscribed.
I loved everything about you and your thoughts about how you select your books and how they influenced your life. I can relate a lot. I also love children’s books and everything that gives a particular energy for myself. Girl, I love your vibes. Way to go, sister.
New subscriber. Sweet video. When you introduce a new book into the mix, it does change the whole dynamic of the collection. Reorganizing becomes important. Then if you are writing and need to have quick access to certain books for research, then you might find yourself moving those books closer to your desk. I love this video. Great job.
This was so relaxing. I'm up to 1500 books or there abouts so I don't restyle them any more - fiction is in author alphabetical and non-fiction is by genre.
The Velveteen Rabbit is my all-time favorite book and I have a copy as an adult! I read it when I was maybe eight years old and the magic and deep lessons of it never left me. I would love to see more content like this from you - I love your collection and I’m inspired to rebuild my own!
I love this video! What a treat to stumble across it. I love how you make the shelves your own with the two tone look. It looks wonderful. I have the privilege of working in a bookstore, in a little town in the Cascade mountains. It’s incredible! Anyway, I often get distracted in the kids section, because kids books are just magic! No book will make me cry, or laugh quicker than a kids book. I’m a collector, so I collect all kinds of books, kids books being one of them. Have you read the book “Maybe” by Kobi Yamada? All of their books are incredible, but that’s the go to when I need a gift. I also collect “Alice in Wonderland.” It’s amazing how many editions have been published around the world. Thank you for sharing your love of books.
Your home library is so cute and cozy! I'm in the middle of like three books right now (which I'm sorta hating lol) but the last one I picked up was The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy
Love your library, it’s almost as beautiful as you. I love your hair, gorgeous. I would love to have a library. Most of my books are in my bedroom closet. Trying to get my husband to make me some bookcases.
Oh my. The gods are not to blame. I have a sentimental attachment to that book. My favourite book is Things Fall Apart. This video is so my vibe. Chike and the river. Gosh. Subscribed
You are absolutely stunning! Your energy is so beautiful and cool, something I aspire to have ☺️🫶 Your bookshelves and space are also awe inspiring! I hope to have a similar space one day :)
Thanks for sharing your book collection. I collect too, bc I love to have a library. Because of space can't keep it all unfortunately. One of my favorite books is Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier and one of my favorite children's books is Petunia by Roger Duvoisin.
Thanks for the book recommendations- I’ve actually never come across Chinua Achebe’s Chike and The River, I’ll definitely read it some time! Have you ever read Ama Ata Aidoo’s Changes by the way? That’s my favorite book of all time. Thanks for sharing ❤️🇬🇭
This healed me so much 🥹😭😭 I only have 17 books and they’re mostly self help. I’m looking into diving more into fiction. This video right here is so inspiring
Just found your channel & subbed! Your library is super goals! It looks so cozy, well done! ☺📚 I have a personally interesting question for you. Which popular genres do you really enjoy reading the most?
I loved this! Your voice is so nice and I enjoyed everything about this video. ❤ Currently I am reading Death by Iced Coffee by Alex Erickson and Aggripina: the most extraordinary woman of the Roman world by Emma Southon.

I would agree that it’s about the books. Constant compliments can quickly make a woman feel uncomfortable.
I cannot even wrap my mind around organizing that many books.
I’ve had practice 😂💪🏾
This is the first video of yours that I’ve watched and I just wanna say that you have such a kind and elegant energy! Your bookshelves are also to die for 💕

This shelfs are absolutely stunning!!
And I love that you point out that the collection isn't the point of reading, you put that so well.
Wrapping the shelves in wallpaper is so smart and such a good idea!

Nigerian, Igbo? Chike and the River and Enid B books were staples in every child's home in my part of Nigeria.
I believe she’s Uroboh/isoko from her name
