one of the reasons I really like your videos is that you don’t retell the plot if the books you read. You find other things that make the books stick with you. Retelling the plot is something a lot of booktubers do but in my opinion it’s just a lazy way.

Igho, I've been thinking this for a while, but what you said in just the first two minutes made me really need to say it: You inspire me so so much with every single video you put out! We're similar in age and your gentle view of the world, your compassion with yourself and others, the things you choose to focus on in your videos are things I aspire to have or be. I get that this is curated content and that you have good and bad days like everyone else, but what I see here is goals. I am a hardcore Elena Ferrante fan. I’ve read all of her fiction and am currently reading the final two nonfiction books of hers. The Neopolitan Quartet is never not on my mind. I love that quartet so dearly. I’ve read My Brilliant Friend twice and the rest of the quartet once. I’m thinking about reading it again in 2025. I also read and loved Piranesi. It’s a very interesting book.

I enjoyed this vlog so much. As a person from LA that used to commute via train and city bus a lot that now lives in the south and drives a car to do everything. I often miss commuting back and forth between cities and doing everything when I see vlogs like yours. Happy Holidays 🫶🏽

Hi! New viewer here and I love your content! I've had my eye on Ferrante for a while but you really make me want to finally pick it up in 2025! I read Piranesi and loved the Dark Academia/gothic vibes. It took me about 70 pages to be fully hooked but then finished it in one sitting! Babel, I started it but I was too busy at the time so I need to give it another go
