this is probably my favourite bookshelf tour ever. seriously
People should make more bookshelf tour likes this! To be honest I find them boring when people just point out every single book they own, its way more personal (and entertaining) when you point out the books that stand out the most to you, whether liked or disliked! Great job Ariel! :)
This is my third time watching this because Ariel is just so hilarious.
I love her, She is so quirky and real and I haven't seen that in a while.
This was the most fun bookshelf tour I've watched so far. Especially because my books look like this-- well-stacked chaos.
This is literally the story of my life. That and "I don't exercise so going upstairs knocks me out for four hours after."
This has to be your most animated vlog ever and I love seeing your personality come out. Hysterical! i always recommend your channel to book lovers!
oh and ALSO, I've had The Book Thief on my shelf for about two years. I thought I was the only one who hadn't read it. Maybe one day I'll feel interested.
I'd recommend seeing the movie! It's a long book, but it's a beautiful story!
I haven't read it either! I'm just completely put off by the way it's written, it looks so all over the place with bold writing every where randomly.
spoken book thoughts
I was put off by that at first too, but once you get into it you'll see it's not at all as it seems. Not all over the place at all.
Thanks for letting me know! I am planning on reading it soon, I'm just kind of intimidated by the size and how strangely it's written.
This was the most entertaining bookshelf tour I've ever watched. Period. You're fabulous my dear. Although ever time you say you hate Life of Pi I die a little inside
I didn't know that I needed a video of you jumping up into frame while talking about how City of Bones was just okay, but god, I really, really did.
Ariel, this was the best bookshelf tour ever, I love how random it was and how excited you got and sidetracked. I had 15 minutes of break from studying and I'm so glad I spent it watching this video!
You already were one of my favourite booktubers, and the whole jumping up and down while trying to tell a coherent story just confirmed that.
Hiding your twilight books behind your classics is perhaps one of the funniest things I've seen. I really like this video. It was really fun to watch.
You know Ariel's shelves are disorganized when she has Life of Pi shelved next to A.S. King :P
I really love how you get carried away and off topic so easily, i do that a lot too xD loved the video
This video was so fun and felt so genuine. You're amazing, Ariel. Hope you have a great time in the UK!
I normally find book shelf tours to be boring because most people go through each shelf and list and pull out each book, but this was so random and hilarious. I laughed out loud a few times. Great video!
This is my comfort video. I come back to this every once in a while and it calms me down. Thanks 2014 Ariel
This has to be my favourite bookshelfy tour ever, you did it so well!
I actually REEEEAAALLLY appreciated this video for the sheer fact that you didn't pull every single book out and tell us what it was. You just highlighted some of your faves and we got some nice stories. :) It was so personal and lovely. AND ALSO I loved that you showed us your shelves as they are. I myself am a bookshelf neat freak, but I love seeing people who just toss their books on their shelves like NO BIGGIE. Ugh, I wish I could say go on Amazon for manga, but I'm not entirely sure it would be that much cheaper because you're in Canada, yes? But a lot of the manga I've bought off there is pretty cheap (I think I got all of Sailor Moon for $8 or under per book). And samesies about Mockingjay. I was so sad after coming off the high that was the Catching Fire movie. Let me say: I didn't mind the split, but they just... didn't do it right. YEAH ANYWAY this comment is long. I loved and appreciated this video! Imma go now.
This is probably my favorite video on youtube, no joke. It's ridiculous how many times I've watched this.
You're incredible. I don't know anybody who is so animate as you. Not even an animation.
Yes. I love this. My shelves are a wreck and I have 3 piles about 3ft high just...leaning tower of books all over. I appreciate seeing shelves that aren't so neatly organized and perfect!
I finished Animal Farm today, and I felt you would be proud of me reading George Orwell. It was a good read and very thought provoking, but the pigs made me very frustrated.
I need to read that!!! Ariel AND MY DAD have both told me how good it is.
Haha yeah, my dad and Shannon seemed proud.
This is the only book tour that I really enjoyed!
this is the best bookshelf tour video i've ever watched. YOU'RE AMAZING
This is probably the funniest bookshelf tour I've ever seen! They usually are really boring, because they are super long and it's just naming books, but you made it interesting! not only for the lack of organization but because you highlighted the books that you had something to say about! and also the stuff on your shelves as decorations! Plus you are funny :) Loveeeeeeed it Ariel, well done!
I love the honesty in this video. It's a refreshing break from polished, organized shelves.
Don't worry about organization Ariel! I always wished that I could do my shelves like that because quite frankly I love they look! I just fluffed my first bookish video, a bookshelf tour last night and I get why you're tired. It really is harder than it looks!
Just in case you'll be looking for it: Anne and the French Kiss is on the first shelf (the one right under where Lola and Isla are), the very last standing book on the right. Also amazing booktour. I'd get crazy with all of these books. I need to be organized.
This was the most wonderful, honest bookshelf tour I've ever seen. I love your videos because you are always so honest and that's why we can relate to you. Never change, Ariel, your'e amazing.
Oh my gosh. This was definitely the best bookshelf tour I've ever watched
I’ve been bingeing your videos and I just love how honest you are. Thank you for being awesome!
I love that this is not perfect, your bookshelves are like a home. Comfortable. Keep doing what you're doing. You're videos are amazing Xx
Loved this video! It was fun to get a look at your shelves. I haven't read The Book Thief either. So now I don't feel so alone!
I feel like we're just wandering in on your stream of consciousness ramblings, which for what it's worth, it a-okay by me. I really enjoyed this video.
Literally welcome to my life. I had to purge out old books that aren't working for me (to make room for new ones of course), and design a new bookshelf organization idea (by watching other videos and thinking of my own needs). The life of a bibliophile. I really need a forever home library for my book addiction.
I really liked this video. There is a silly kind of fluidity to it. I liked how you just went down the shelves and talked about what came to mind, which made it an interesting adventure :)
God Ariel, don't think I've ever told you but you're honestly one of my favorite UA-camrs cx keep on keepin on.
A new Ariel video to start my Monday morning. I couldn't be any happier!! :D
This was probably the funniest and most spontaneous video you've ever made, loved it! :)
Am I the only one who actually LOVES messy bookshelves? They seem so unnatural to me when they are all pretty and organized. It's probably just me hahah
This was an amazing video! It felt like we were best friend and I was visiting your house and you were casually showing me all of your books. :)
I feel so glad that I'm not the only one with a bookshelf that's not organized. I just put stuff where it fits. The only thing I've managed is not separating my series but I have no rhyme or reason to where books are placed. That is a luxury that only more space can buy
this is probably the greatest book shelf tour. I felt like I was just chilling in your room lookin at your books. I think I am going to go to B&N and pick up some A.S King books now! :)
This is peak chaotic Ariel energy and I love it so much
And also, I love the Uglies series too. So glad it's being mentioned on booktube!
Aaaaand I just wanted to say this video was awesome! Absolutely crazy and hilarious.
I love the way you did this tour!! It makes it unique & interesting & it totes rocks!!
I'm so glad im not the only one whose shelves look like that.. but your earrings are so pretty!
I haven't read The Book Thief either, but I really want to. I am the Messenger was great. I love that you captured this moment and shared it with us.
I was having such a bad day, but this video was so ridiculous and put a smile on my face! I love your videos :)
this was defiantly my favorite videos of yours, thus far
Best bookself tour ever. So much fun watching this.
I had rather low expectations for Mockingjay (mainly because it was split into two movies and I had no idea how they could do it properly since the book had a lot of parts that I felt was unnecessary), but I actually ended up liking it!
By the way, loved this video! Thank you for not naming every single one of your books and the authors because those are not really fun bookshelves tours!
Also, I love the Uglies series too. I'm so glad it's being mentioned on booktube!
Aaaaaaand I just wanted to say that this video was awesome! Absolutely hilarious and crazy.
I loved this video! I need to have my books organised or at least quite a bit organised but I admire your less organised shelves, it was great to see them :).
(Watching your old videos while waiting for new ones). Honest and hilarious!😂 This is why I subscribe to your channel!😍❤️
I just put this video and the firt thing i saw was you and your amazing hair, and then i looked to the sailor moon posters and then you started talking and you were super funny and super honest and super real, and i just don't know what to say, I totally loved you, you are amazing !
This is 100% the best bookshelf tour I've ever watched...and a large part of that is because of the jumping. :D Also, you should definitely get around to reading Dragon Rider. It's definitely middle-grade, but really enjoyable.
My phone literally woke me up because you posted a video. I can't really regret it.
My shelves are the worst. The actual worst. It's nice to see someone so popular with wonky shelves.
I also haven't read The Book Thief! I've had it for a few years and it's just been on my shelf, getting no attention. And I love this video!! :) You're just adorable and awesome and I feel like we're similar!
Oh my gosh Ariel I completely lost it laughing when you pulled Go Dogs Go off your shelf and the entire video kept a huge smile on my face! Don't worry I haven't read the Book Thief either and it's extremely low on my priorities
In terms of not enough shelf space, I have a lot of deep shelves and not enough space, so what I've done when I have serieses I'm not going to reread any time soon is put the first book in its alphabetical order with other things, and the rest of the series behind - I've done that with Potter & Lemony Snicket.
I really like your personality, Ariel. Had a great time watching this.
Love the video! And I can't wait to come along on your move to England, you should do some vloggy-type video there if you have time :)
Anybody giggle about how she mentioned "where's anna and the french kiss, i don't know" and the book was on the next shelf haha this was the most amusing shelf(s) tour ever, your mess of books is beautiful xx
this is my favorite video of you! it's really spontaneous and all over the place and i really loved that! keep up the random vlog type video's! btw: i'm a huge fan of your opinion type video's also, i think that you're an intelligent person with really interesting point of views and i really enjoy listening to them :)
This was honestly so hilarious. Ariels personality is so bubbly and just the things she says and the way she says it is so funny
Absolutely loved your bookshelf tour
Especially that Honduran box 💙
I really need to get one. :)
I loved it!! and loved the realism in here haha bookshelfs are a chaos sometimes.
You're great, Ariel :D
Nice video.
I laughed so hard when you were jumping up and down & talking to the camera! Loved this video!
One of the best bookshelf tours I've seen, kudos.
YES IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VID FOR SO LONG
I love how honest you are. In this day and age people are too afraid to express their opinions.
You are so entertaining to watch. Seriously chuckled at some points.
Great video Ariel! I really recommend the Chaos Walking trilogy. They're great to marathon!
This was the best shelf tour I have ever seen!
I think you gonna love the book thief, I seriously think you gonna love it.
The Book Thief is definitely worth the read! So is The Messenger by the same author, really changed my perspective on things :) Markus Zusak is awesome!
"So she's kind of my best friend now" I actually laugh out loud when I watch your videos wtf that never happens I think you're my favourite person now
You should really consider reading the book thief it is amazing! o.O love your videos and your energy!
This is my favorite book tube video of all time.
That Sailor Moon wall is everything.
I wish I knew your more "extended" views on Fahrenheit 451, it's really remarkable for me. Also, si hablas español (tienes buena pronunciación) , hola, eres de mis booktubers favoritas! I love your channel because you're different. You don't just expose what you want to read or what you bought. You expose your way of thinking and also a more thoughtful way of seeing things, which I love. I want to study literature (I think, as you). Good luck in England!
I legit cackled... CACKLED... when Ariel starts bouncing up and down in the beginning. Just, yes. You're amazing, Ariel. ;)
This is one of the best videos that I've watched in a long time. :)
haha this was great. Also Lady Susan is the bomb! It might be my faovuirte of all of Austen's works to be honest- shes definitely my favourite heroine/antagonist.
I started laughing at the 'this is about mermaids' and jumping... and didn't stop.
I'm currently reading The Book Thief. My girlfriend bought it for me for Christmas 2014 and the size of it put me off. I got to page 249 before I put it down and only just started reading it on my Kindle. I've got a little over 100 pages left. It's a part of my reading challenge I set for myself this year.
I am currently reading the book theif. Loved your video!!!😍😍😍
omfg the shot of you jumping and book reviewing made my day
I loved how crazy this video was.
I have not read The Book Thief (yet) either. You are not aloooone.
This is the most entertaining bookshelf tour I've watched haha!
This. Is one of my favorite booktube videos of all time.
This was so funny! I love how flustered you got... Uhh... That sounded mean! Haha you know what I mean. I'm glad you didn't organize your shelves to perfection before sharing it with us.
Kindness is the best accessory,
Rebecca
My bookshelves are sooo messy! Brilliant video Ariel, made me laugh :) very fun to watch!
Haha! Brilliant video, i love your crazy enthusiasm
The Bit where you talk about City of Bones had me laughing like crazy. This video is fun!
hands down, the greatest booktube video out there. thank you. :')
Absolutely love you and your videos. You're so intelligent and witty, it's lovely to view your videos.
