I first started watching Noelle’s videos during Covid. I was in nursing school, close to failing, and completely miserable. Watching Noelle’s videos reignited a spark within me and made me rediscover my passion for literature. I dropped out of nursing school and started to pursue an English degree. I am now in my first year of graduate school, aspiring to be an English teacher. I am the happiest and most fulfilled with what I am doing . I am forever grateful for Noelle’s infectious passion that made me want to discuss books like her for a living. Thank you Noelle. I will continue to check back in with you and I miss you dearly. My husband literally asks me every few months if our favorite booktuber has come back. Her videos actually got him into collecting vintage Stephen King books. Whenever you're ready, we'll be super excited to welcome you back. But we are so happy you're taking all the time you need to live your life the way you want to! Noelle please take all the time you need. Although, I do have to say with Oasis reforming, it would be pretty hilarious if you also decided to make a comeback, just as a lol.

Couldn't agree more about used books. I take super good care of my new books, but I will not turn my nose up at a roughed up and well loved second hand. When I was a kind I used to bring out of circulation library books home that I had no interest in reading, just because I liked looking at them and all of the writing/library cards that were in them. Also, a book with a written gift dedication in it? Worth more than a kilo of gold!

I love used or preloved books, too! They have personalities. They were silent witnesses of the lives of those who held 'em. I do not think of 'em as unwanted that why they were in the book thrift shops. They were handed by the previous owners so others will give 'em new home.

Hey, I have that same wall color in my book room (yes I do have a bookroom!). Also, my daughter went thrift shopping, found a small bookshelf and painted it this color!
