- Rice makes up a major part of the diet of more than 3 billion people around the globe. The staple grain is used in savory dishes like Spain’s paella and sweet dishes like Filipino champorado. Rice is believed to have first been cultivated in China, which is also the world’s largest producer of rice today. While there are so many dishes that include this popular grain, we can only show some of the best regional rice dishes that exist around the globe. Here’s how rice is eaten in a few different ways around the world.

Excuse me but Byriani is a national Bush of Pakistan and is made with full perfection the Byriani you showed looks appearance wise AWFUL TBH
Emmmm... What about "Lemang"? (Sticky rice cook with coconut cream, rolled in banana leaf, filled inside bamboo then cook by fire side)
Biryani is a variety of pulao favorite in Pakistan, india and bangladesh and the recipe varies from region to region... Bangladesh is famous for kacchi biryani where raw meat and rice are cooked together, pakistan has its own favorite version and india has more than 50 varieties depending from region to region but we all LOVE BIRYANI!!!
Damn that's some sad Biryani. And this is coming from a Chinese dude.
Ikr that’s an insult to Indian culture
@Nikitas Black ikrr
I am indian but I totally agree on this guy that is not biryani u can try biryani made by an Indian local hotel
this channel most of the time insults indian food by describing it in a wrong way and tells others dishes for more than 30 sec in a 7minutes video
Pakistan mad at it
Food Insider got the saddest Biryani to feature one of the best rice dish

Edit: asked my mom to rate it. She very generously gave it a 3/10
exactly!! that is NOT biryani
IKR
Nice way to treat a food

@@afiqabqari7126 I think you misunderstood the shoe part. At the person who cooked it and not at the food. I have nothing against the food. But if you are going to show different cultures, you gotta do it right. That looks far from a traditional biriyani dish. That is what i'm trying to say
Rice is also a great thing used to fix everything
You dont give rice to people . And you r speaking about using it as adhesive.

Some do put red colour. Some use saffron milk. It depends
Bro street biryani ma colour hota ha 80- 100 ma keser nahi dalla ga

and some thick ass spicy curry on the side
but still, heavily disappointed at the biryani they showed😂
Ikr, you can just buy saffron or something from a outside market but I bet the woman that cooked it is a foreigner so probably saffron is really expensive or rare there

thats kashmiri biriyani kashmiris usually sprinkle red chilli powder right after biriyani is ready to serve to bring colour and for the spice kick u can say and yeah for seasoning also. there are many ways to make biriyani not only one way

Broo me too , I am Biryani lover and that doesn't look anything like a biryani 😭-
@@akshayap490 true
I never had biryani can you please explain?
@@timothytobing7212 Well for me, the problem was the fact that they sprinkled chili powder on the rice and that the mixing was done horribly. Like, so biryani is composed of two parts: the curry and the rice. You first make the curry and dump the rice in and mix it. You add the chili powder to the curry not the rice or else it won't be fully developed. Along with that, the curry and rice are supposed to be well mixed, meaning you shouldn't see any clumps of nuts etc (like in this example) when serving as it's supposed to already be evenly mixed in the pot.

Он известен более тысячи лет и является объектом нематериального культурного наследия Узбекистана и Таджикистана. In Brazil we have a rice dish called "Baião de Dois", which is made of rice and beans. Baião de Dois is usually made with leftover beans, so the raw rice is added to the already cooked beans until the rice. Other seasonings like onions, tomatoes, bell pappers, cheese, butter and nata can be added (nata is a dairy product from our region, it's a type of salty cream). It's often paired with fried or roasted meats and is a staple food from the Northeast region of Brazil.

In Poland, we eat the rice as a side dish, with meat and veggies. It's also one of ingredients of one of popular polish dishes, known as Gołąbki (Gołąb means Pigeon in Polish). It's polish take on romanian sarmale and is also known as "Polish Cabbage Rolls". In this dish, this roll's filling is made by mixing of minced meat with rice and, later, the cabbage leaves are rolled aroud filling. It's topped with tomato sauce.
