I'm English, and live in a large town which is a major rail hub. We have an annual food+drink festival where many street vendors come, and cover the town square and beyond. A while ago, some of them had so much success they decided to band together to buy an unused covered walkway's floor space [Alongside a local fruit+veg wholesaler] and set up stands there [alongside an outdoor fruit+veg market]. This walkway leads up a hill; from one exit of the major shopping center to another, where the town square; library and high street are. This exit had a large Burger King. And a Vietnamese Street food vendor set up right next to *that exit.* If you would walk out that exit at lunchtime, you would see a queue before you got to the BK. It wasn't for Burger King. *It was for the Vietnamese stall.* You've heard of queues coming out of stores out of a mall? This is a queue backing up into one! The Burger King is now out of business. The Vietnamese stall is still there. Alongside Japanese, South African, and things like good old grilled cheese sandwich and bacon stalls. Their most popular dish is by far Pho, and they easily do the most business there with the possible exception of the fresh fruit+veg market which is like x5 their size. The combined endevour is so successful the council replaced all the old lighting of the walkway, and renovated the place so it was generally nicer than just a roof between two sets of brick walls.
Laksa also has the same shape as those noodles and ramen, except it is made using rice flour and cooked using fish broth (includes the fish meat as well), with some chillies and simmered down before serving it together with some limes, red onion, cucumber and parsley (optional). It's a savoury dishes with a tangy taste and fulfilling. In Malaysia, it is safe to say that every state has its own version of Laksa (its use of ingredient differs according to household and tradition).

Seems like we need to thank Chinese Immigrants for their deeds..
Indomie Migoreng is literally the best drunk food in the world.
6:25 why does she looks like she was forced to smile like that-
so true 🤣
Actually its more like! "Ohhhh its heavy its heavy its heavy!!!😭😭😭 BUT im on camera! On camera! On camera!!!!😁😁😁
I've eaten the Cacio e Pepe so many times before without knowing. Been using a little bit of butter, parmesan and a couple twists of the pepper mill for years on spaghetti. Cool to learn it's actually a thing
Rather than Mie Goreng i think Indonesians are more into Mie Ayam
Mie ayam and mie Tek Tek.
Mie Yamin too
Bakmi ayam*
Bakmi is hokkien literally translate to bak = meat, mie = noodles

Video about noodles all over the world:
Stares in idiyappam
Lol!!
To my pleasant surprise it was just payasam. I thought they will show monstrosity of an obscure dish claiming it as the noodle of India.
Haha 😂
My first thought was are they going to show Maggi 🙈😂
I expected iddiyapam or sevai too
No matter where you are, we all love a good noodle!
The fact that they missed Maggie Noodles is the soul of Malaysia culture, whether in soup or fried.

Quite disappointed that they did not show the finished version of Indonesia's Mee Goreng on 5:13.
Exactly
Or indomie
Missed one. Laska Penang is a rice noodle dish from Malaysia served in thick fish broth made with tamarind with the fish meat boiled until broken down. Served with shreded galangal leaves, slides onions and cucumber and other spices
Most of the noodle in asian country are introduced by China.
Yolomyboi YT Indonesian noodles like Mi Goreng was introduced in 1972. A 4000 year old noodle was found in China.
Not in india
@Home Home no. Not true at lease not in india but maybe in other asian countries
@Home Home 😂😂 there is no lie

I'm English, and live in a large town which is a major rail hub. We have an annual food+drink festival where many street vendors come, and cover the town square and beyond.
A while ago, some of them had so much success they decided to band together to buy an unused covered walkway's floor space [Alongside a local fruit+veg wholesaler] and set up stands there [alongside an outdoor fruit+veg market].
This walkway leads up a hill; from one exit of the major shopping center to another, where the town square; library and high street are. This exit had a large Burger King. And a Vietnamese Street food vendor set up right next to *that exit.*
If you would walk out that exit at lunchtime, you would see a queue before you got to the BK.
Our legend
Maggi!!!
0:38 no Asian, ever eat noodles in such tiny portion.

Guys, at least she stated that Indomie is from Indonesia, I mean, I'm pretty cool with that. She didn't claim it was originally from Nigeria (the best part tbh), she just mentioned that it's a big part of Nigeria's culture...
I'm Indonesian. I'm now living in Indonesia. Most Mie Goreng in Indonesia don't come with lime juice/wedges for condiments but with cucumber, carrot, birds eye chili pickles. Mie Aceh(Aceh is a Province in Indonesia) sometimes comes with lime juice/wedges. But I like a little lime juice with Mie Goreng. It's cuts the oil and make it more balance. But there is one must haves condiments beside crispy shallots and pickles that usually comes with Mie Goreng, it's shrimp crackers or Emping crackers.
3:10 my mom makes kheer with rice, idk which way is correct but I do know that with rice it tastes good af
Video theme : noodles.
Indonesia's noodle segment : some random person fries some vegetables. No noodle at all.

omg indomie is so delicious btw im from vietnam. like a lot of my friends in VN eat indomie and i didn't regconise that it was originated from Indonesia until now. OMG
@Alief Arkhan Firdaus it's just a name lmao
@Alief Arkhan F I mean, me and some of my friends thought it was some sort of brand from the INDOchina era the first time we heard it. And guess what, Indonesia wasn't in Indochina.
I love indomie and I'm from india! I low-key prefer indomie over maggie, no shade
Indomie comes from 'Indo' and 'Mie'. Mie stands for Noodles. ^^
Yeah, and Indomie from Indonesia
Me as an Indonesia, I would definitely recommend Mie Ayam, which is Yellow Noodle with Chichen stew Topping, eaten with some Kerupuk Pangsit.
The right title would be:

In the southern part of Indonesia's province of DIY, there's a popular cassava noodle called "miedes". Yellow in color, thick and chewy, usually stir fried with seasoning that includes dried shrimp.
