I'm gonna check out Rob'n'Raz's "Got to Get" soon because while it peaked at No. 48 on the American Hot 100, I never got to hear it. I also saw some stuff from UB40, Real McCoy and Milli Vanilli I hadn't heard before. Enjoyable as always. New Kids on the Block and Michael Bolton were very polarizing artists-hugely popular but also hated by many. My favourites were probably the Phil Collins tracks. Nice to see Robert Palmer and Alannah Myles too.

Strange feeling - most of these never reached the tops, but remains in value. Meanwhile many so called number-ones flopped and their contributions into music is tends to zero 😕
Finally we are back with the Europarade! I tought it was cancelled XD. Anyway the song It's Here by Kim Wilde really caught my surprise and it's really good. I was surprised that Les Valses de Vienne and Casser la voix are here because they hit the top 10 in late 1989 but it is what it is. I'm happy that there's a bit more italian hits in this one unlike the last two vids. Not a bad start to the 90s and looking forward to 1991!
Sadly It’s Here was undervalued and did not reach top 10 in any of the big countries. Instead Can’t Get Enough ( of your Love) was top 10 in France: maybe this deserved his place.
I am in UK . I know most apart from the foreign language ones as those weren't released in UK. Though I do remember Sandra and a couple others from extensive MTV Europe rotation
They are songs taken from the individual national charts. To give an example, there are some Italian songs, sung in Italian, that outside of Italy almost no one knows but that have reached the top of the respective national charts. As an Italian, of course, I knew them all, but at the same time I ignored most of those sung in French or German. The song "Azzurro" is an Italian song from 1968 and I never knew that it had been covered by a German band. On the other hand, most of the songs sung in English we all know having entered all the national charts.

I'm gonna check out Rob'n'Raz's "Got to Get" soon because while it peaked at No. 48 on the American Hot 100, I never got to hear it. I also saw some stuff from UB40, Real McCoy and Milli Vanilli I hadn't heard before. I remember hearing The Adventures of Stevie V's "Dirty Cash (Money Talks)" on my local Top 40 station back then, though. Great job as always!

Finally we are back with the Europarade! I tought it was cancelled XD. Anyway the song It's Here by Kim Wilde really caught my surprise and it's really good. I was surprised that Les Valses de Vienne and Casser la voix are here because they hit the top 10 in late 1989 but it is what it is. I'm happy that there's a bit more italian hits in this one unlike the last two vids. Not a bad start to the 90s and looking forward to 1991!
'It's Here' is beautiful, it would have deserved to become a bigger hit, especially in thr UK.
Sadly It’s Here was undervalued and did not reach top 10 in any of the big countries. Instead Can’t Get Enough ( of your Love) was top 10 in France: maybe this deserved his place.

They are songs taken from the individual national charts. To give an example, there are some Italian songs, sung in Italian, that outside of Italy almost no one knows but that have reached the top of the respective national charts. As an Italian, of course, I knew them all, but at the same time I ignored most of those sung in French or German. The song "Azzurro" is an Italian song from 1968 and I never knew that it had been covered by a German band.
On the other hand, most of the songs sung in English we all know having entered all the national charts.
I'm curious: where do you find all these acts? Some artists I know but the European acts are new for me
All the songs are from the charts of different European countries (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and a few others).
I guess I need to study music charts a little bit more-lol. It feels like a European time warp when you give us new performances
