yes will work with both side hung or top hung windows

this is determined by where you position the restrictor but generally you should leave approx. 100mm gap which is too small for a child to fall through

Looks easy... but they've made it look this way (like all the other videos) by taking the window out so you can get right round it. We've looked at our window and it's virtully impossible to fit. Even going right up a ladder there isn't enough angle for a screwdriver with the roof edge.

Hi works exactly same you can fix them to one of the side jambs and it does the same job
