I like how Alex is like "Oh Jetplanes have been invented", after he stared the video building the Messerschmidt 262. A Jet Fighter.
To win as the Wehrstaat, you need to concentrate your airpower and armoured divisions to prioritize linking up the territories. You can also before you switch send your troops to somewhere more.... Convenient, let's say, to the side you're fighting for, but it's not really necessary. Hope you continue to explore this awesome mod!

Treied twice as Wehrmatch, but to win, you need The Allies to not intervene, a decent tanks brigade micro, for oil problem there's decision to get alot of oil, and also military access through Poland if you're too late to link your territories. Alex just didn't see it.
@@aeriawindsor4722 Yes, the TA not intervening is pretty much a pre-requisite to win the GCW at all, since I don't believe any side can win quickly enough that they don't have time to intervene, and once they do, even if you've pretty much won your forces are too spent to resist an invasion. The TA intervention is pretty much the People's Germany route, though, so it's still interesting in a different way.

That's two common things mods do that tends to bother me. One is the sort of fixed pathing. "You cannot justify wargoals" and "you cannot add or remove faction members". The second is scripted peace deals that overwrite whatever you do.
The reason why it bothers me perhaps more than it should is when I play a historical strategy game, I usually try to go Alt History as much as possible. Like when I play EU4 I don't go: "I'm going to play the British and create a global trade and colonial empire and rule the seas". It's what history did. I'm buffed via mission tree to do it. And it's not really that interesting to go for. Now something like: "Can I take the Chinook Tribe and resist European colonization and become the dominant power in Western North America?" That's interesting.
I get it's a case where mods have the story they want to tell basically. They're pushing more to Visual Novel styles and just wanting you to experience the story. But it still rankles me to look at a scenario and go: "Well I want to... what do you mean I can't?"

the mod use the 1952 setting but the geopolitical lore and maps goes until today with many events and maps during the cold war (spoiler germany still "lose")

It tried this and I tried to prevent civil war like 100 times by loading back. But ended up siding with goebles and fighting for the German Reich to Defeat the SS and Wehrmacht
