Please do more Symphony X. Also the lead singer Russell Allen is a singing beast! Not just here but in a few other projects and bands. Ayreon is one of my Absolutely favorite bands. You and I like the same music based on your comments. They are a Progressive project of Arjen A Lucaasen. Most reactors start with " The Day That The World Breaks Down." It is a good start because Arjen gives you a lot of back round information. There are 11 Singers from the biggest bands around Europe and the US on the album. Allen also did Adrenaline Mob a super group in it's own right. If you enjoy Trans-Siberian Orchestra Russell Allen is a singer in there as well as Adrenaline Mob's late bassist.

Thanks for doing Symphony X! I thought you'd like them. Still recommend "Nevermore" from the same album also "Eve of Seduction" from the Paradise Lost album and my all-time fav, "Evolution (The Grand Design) from V: The New Mythology Suite, which is all about Atlantean mythology.

As a massive fan of Symphony X, I recommend When All is Lost from them: a bit of a ballad/mini epic... Superb writing and musicianship with a lot of emotion.
Also, if you're interested in something more "progressive", even for the 2000s, I would recommend Pain of Salvation. Each album they've done (from 97 to present day) is distinct from the next, a band that truly evolves. Each album is also a concept album. I would recommend perhaps Nightmist or Her Voices. Really hard to make a suggestion for this band lol. Cheers!

Symphony X, is one of the best prog-metal band out there. If u like this kind of "symphonic like prog-metal songs", you'll pretty much like their whole discographic story. I personally enjoy all about symphony x, but ill recommend you to start with "Egypt", "Throught the looking glass", "Absence of light" or "The accolade part II". Why? well, because songs like The Odyssey, The Divine Wings of Tragedy or Rediscovery part II, are "the best of the best", i mean, they are absolute masterpieces, though. you will get your mind blown by them so you first need to hear what is, still a fucking awesome song, but not the fucking best. you get my point? ...u know what? just do it, hear any one of those i first told you, and then jump straight into the second list, any of those. (i would choose the odyssey) The experience will be one hundred percent better. i guarantee.

Just subscribed to your channel. Really cool to watch your modern prog rock journey so far. There are lots of bands that i would like to suggest, but i have to keep my priorities straight and i see you havent done Opeth yet. I think Harlequin Forest would be a great entry point to their more known sound. It will be interesting to see you react to their most recent albums too in the future, since they are much more "classic" prog rock. Cheers

That chorus was indeed huge and so much better than laying individual tracks and putting them together, unless that is what they did, but that would kinda take the Symphony out of Symphony X. 🤓
First time hearing them for me as well, unless I have but didn't realize it.
    Thanks for your reaction
    Peace 🐺e
