There are definitely better colors, but this is a nice color. Anyway, the MP4-12C is the best looking McLaren by far (not including the F1 or P1). This looks better than the 650 or 720 by a longshot. The front of this car compared to newer McLarens is a devolution

Here in the U.S, it’s dropped about another $20,000. You can find a 2012 Mclaren MP4-12C for about $70-90,000

@Privileged_Slave its got 44k on the clock tho. It was sold in 2021 with 34k for 62k!!!!! Its been to ALOT of dealers and it was mainly used by heads of stealerships...they paid 62k and IMMEDIATELY listed it for 129k !!!! Banks dont do loans for cars that are older than 7 years so i imagine finding fianance is difficult. Im kinda scared tho since its been at dealerships for the last 5 or 6 years.....its got a repo under its belt as well. But its got

Ive been eyeing these for months and plan to purchase one in 2024. Love these way more than the 650s to be honest.
I plan to buy a 650S in the future. From what I’ve heard, they are more reliable than the first MP4-12C. I would highly recommend the 650S

Yes! I have had a 650S. The McLaren 650s is a lot better looking in my opinion, (at least in the front end).
The technology, to the engine, and many other things are very very similar, but overall the improvements have been made in the processing speed of the infotainment, other various previous electrical issues, and things of that sort.
I would go with the McLaren 650S over the MP4 12C for sure

As a 12C owner, I must admit the thing that really bothers me is the hidden cost of owning it -- 12C has a much higher chance of being sent to the body shop compared to my Gallardo and F430.

On McLarens the paddle shifters are one set. You can up shift or down shift on either side

Im shopping around for a r8 or a 570s for my first supercar leaning more towards a 2nd gen r8 because of the reliability
But the 570s would be soo cool to own if I can find a good warranty package I might risk it 😅 YOLO
😅I am not the biggest fan of the McLaren 570 Lineup. Design, reliability, and bang for buck wise. I’d shoot for the Audi R8 as it is an extremely reliable and better sounding engine.
Will be worth a lot in the future as well, considering the death of the V10 lineup currently

2012 Mclaren MP4-12C’s go for as little as $70,000 and will continue to depreciate. That is a pretty big budget for a car once $200,000.
Same goes for the R8
@@leon__feinstein in the UK at least, these things are not depreciating any longer, values are definitely increasing for good examples. They bottomed out at about £65k for a scrappy one.
Bro you can get one of these in top condition in the EU for under 100k

@@curveofsoundno it’s not . Its value has increased in many countries . It all now depends where you are situated . In other countries it can go for 90-110 k at the moment
