  • In this video, we share a buyer's guide for the McLaren MP-12C. This guide is based on my 2012 12C, but might apply to all years of the McLaren MP4-12C series.
    Now, this car is awesome! So Fast!
    Just make sure you take care of her and try to buy the best used example in your budget. It's hard, I know, but hopefully some of these tips might help.
    Here is the video of someone talking about the stuff to watch out for with the aero under-panels removed.

      When the weather turns nice, you will have to come over or we have to meet up. The gravel on the roads is what I am avoiding lol. I hope you are having a great start to your new year.

    im looking to buy a gen 2 gallardo or mp4 12c, do you have any idea what it costs to replace a clutch on a mp4 12c?

    • @DriversTherapy
      @DriversTherapy  4 місяці тому +1

      Two different cars for sure. I do not know the cost but unless the car was abused, most of these DCT clutches are fine. I can tell you the 12C is a master piece to drive but just make sure to buy smart and do all your due diligence. McLaren parts and service is not cheap but most of the work can be done by the owner which is cool.

    I think the engine bay may look cooler without the covers.

      @@DriversTherapy Ok, never mind. I thought they can be taken off easily. If you risk damaging anything that can only be replaced by the manufacturer, don't do it. When looking at how high OEM nsx parts prices are, I don't wan't to imagine the cost of replacing McLaren OEM parts.

      Hey man! I love Porsche but I am so excited about the McLaren. Driving it blows the GT4 out of the water on so many levels. This car is truly amazing. At an original MSRP of $250,000 dollars, the engineering and quality is there. That I can tell by working on it already. It is definitely an intricate car.
