You my dear are an incredible gal, I’ve got my first batch ready and my little rabbits are gonna flip, they already are crazy about me but after preparing this for them.....and my chickens as well for the roots. I so much appreciate you😍🙏🌸
I am following you from a small country called GHANA from AFRICA. You are just amazing. I am planning a Homestead with poultry and cattle mostly for self consumption.
Thank you VERY much young lady! Very well done. Was looking for a way to supplement chicken feed and got rabbits too. And for my salads. I believe it was you I watched years ago making cordage. Glad I found you again. Now I'll have to watch them all. 🙄😄 Keep it up!👍
Seeds came today ...😍. Thank you! ALL of us need to DRAMATICALLY increase our consumption of greens. Like more than tolerable. My calculation is a shot of this 3X a day. Perhaps with meals.....ooooh and my Chicadees will be squealing with delight too. #BlessedBeThee🦋
I laughed when you said a winter day 70°.That's a hot summer day in England. We get a dozen or so days that hot then the rest are in the 60s but winter is usually mild at least where we live. I just sub'd this week after finding your water filter video. There's some great info you put on here and your style and presentation is some of the best on UA-cam. I'm wishing I'd watched your thistle video before I pulled the ones from my orchard. I guess there'll be more next year and the fields are full of them except they are full of sheep as well and the grass gets regular nitram so they won't be as good as the orchard. Glad I found your vlogs and looking forward to more.
I'm glad that amused you. all Our Summer's get triple digit heat so there's no way it would grow here in the summer but with those temps you should be able to grow it outside year-round!
I germinate most of my plumeria seeds that way but to add to her germination tray construction, use a hot soldering iron to do the drain holes. Saves time. Plus the longer you hold the hot soldering iron in the plastic tray, the bigger the hole will melt to.
Hi from down under, my hubby does this as well he say that your the bees knees in your gen you are doing a job of showin.g other people on how to diff thing
I let some soak for way to long many days how many like 7 even though i rinsed it I got busy w other things actually today I saw about 5 dime size mold spots which i removed with a spoon so it put some the good stuff in a blender ironically it hadn't sprouted so i blended it and it turned into oatmeal I tried 4 very small bites I I didn't like the way any of that batch smelled so i threw that whole batch out, so I guess as you said it rotted and fermented actually here in Albuquerque it grows in the sun well the the starter grass will freeze, it dropped well below freezing the past few nights. November 3 now, mine seems to take a lot longer to grow for some reason, i got way to far ahead of myself and was not able to give the proper attention of time i don't have every thing i need yet the set-up yet...... I paid 40.$ for 50# but i have had 1 super good batch and shared with others, and i felt better
Awesome video! And I thought it was necessary to have a grate for the seeds to sit on!. Can you tell me what other seeds are good to fodder? Just found you and I love your channel 😊
I like wheatgrass, it doesn't taste bad. Just watch out for your cat, it's the same stuff they sell as "cat grass" one time I grew some and my sons cat got into it ate it all!
Wonder if this could be grown in larger batches, "mowed" with hedge trimmers and dried for "wheat grass hay". A solar dryer/dehydrater maybe? What about frozen root mats? Just thinking...
Hey there. I wanted to ask you if you had a chance to track and compare egg production on poultry using the fodder sprouts and comparing it with the normal stuff? A lot of videos are out there with sprouts and they are wonderful. I recently started feeding my ducks sunflower sprouts. It helped to get this idea seeing your video and others. But I haven't been doing it too long. And one of the things I'd been wondering is if I need to sometimes mix in other things every now and then to be safe? And also, I wondered about comparing egg production of either ducks or chickens with each other with one group on normal food and one group on either wheatgrass sprouts or sunflower seed (black oil) sprouts? Hope you can get back to me. Thanks.
Hey darling. Wonder in I know this video was done a long time ago but where can you get that grass for $8? I live in North Carolina and all we have is tractor supply store and they don't have anything good as far as quality. I appreciate the information. I don't know if it went up in price or not or I'm just looking in the wrong area
A movie star pretty girl and a great presentation. I had no idea, I could go to a feed store. I live in Texas, feed stores are everywhere. I have the same pan from Wal-Mart! Thank you for this video.
Hi, I am in South Central Louisiana also. Where are you getting your non-GMO chaff removed wheat? I am just starting my system and am looking for a source nearby$8 per 100 pounds sounds good. BTW, Great Video!
Very interesting video but one things i have noticed you have wasted gallons of water to wash barley, isn't it...? Save water and give awareness to the people through many videos in future good luck👍👍
... but, it's a cat litter box!!! - cookie :D On a more serious note.. how much livestock do you reckon you could support with your current system? btw, great video.
Hi Survival HT, Would you please tell me where you get your wheat grass seeds from. I have heard you mentioned that you got them from the farmers market. Can you provide me the website of the vendor where got it? Thanks in advance.
If you don't mind me asking, what state do you live in? I've watched some of your videos and you have a pleasant accent but I've never heard it before! Great information btw!
Would this be more nutritionally dense if you watered these with compost tea or similar since they are not grown in soil? or does that not matter since they are only growing for 7 days?
how many times you can harvest the wheatgrass will it be a sustainable food source in one sowing or I still need to buy new seed every few times? im going to use it fodd rabbit foods
Although I know that people claimed to grow things, if you think about it, it is obvious that we people do not grow anything at all. We simply put seeds that our Dear God Created and Only God Made them grow if God Wanted. Please say that you are tending wheatgrass, to be grateful to God and to be accurate. I ask Dear God humbly to Bless you.🍩🌳🌼💐🌦🍆🍀🦃🍅🐚🐾🐀🍄🌸🍁🐱🧀🎂🍐🌻☘🌹🌺🍏🍦🌷❤️🕌🕌❤️🕌❤️
I know this has nothing to do with the process you're showing here, but... Do you have any reservations about eating your rabbits? (Does it bother you at all?)
Yes it does. It's always hard to butcher an animal that you've raised, looked after, and loved. And we love all our animals. But at the same time at least we know these animals lived a good, happy, and cared for life and died painlessly and without fear. Where as if I buy meat from the store just to save myself the discomfort of putting them down then I am (for my own ease) causing misery to the animal that i bought from the grocer. Because we all know that those poor animals that end up in the grocery store lived horrible lives. Tortured their whole lives, miserable, frightened, unloved, horribly mistreated, terrible deaths. I don't wanna support that industry anymore then I have to and contribute to those poor animals living condition. So I would rather myself be made uncomfortable for a few moments and butch an animal that I made sure had a good life, then to make the animal uncomfortable it's whole life so that I can have it easy at its death. If I opted for grocery meat just to avoid having to butcher that's what I would be doing. Some people don't have a choice in that but I do so I choose to make sure the animals I eat lived well and died happy. Even if it harder on me
Great video, and I couldn't agree more with you about commercial farms, and how they treat animals. I've said this before, but I grew up on a dairy farm in northern Wisconsin, and all our animals, cows, rabbits, chickens, dogs and cats, were all treated and taken care of very well, and never went without food, water and vet care. Like you, I hated the butching part, but it had to be done and was done quickly and pain free. I remember when I was a young boy, my father saying that you can always judge the character of a person and in large part a country, by how they take care of and provide for those who can not possibly do so for themselves. He said look at how a person or country takes care of their elderly, their children and orphans, and their animals, and you will have a good idea about their character. Sadly, this country has lost its moral compass in just about everyway possible, and some places, like Kalifornia just leave you shaking your head. Its no wonder why God has withheld the rain and snow from there, with the twisted evilness that has grown beyond belief. Anyway, keep up the great work.
Good explanation. That is basically the same explanation I give for hunting, and eating wild game instead of grocery store meat. If given a chance, would someone prefer to live life free and maybe be harvested as humanely as possible, or live the horrible life with certain inhumane treatment and death. Hunters are not cruel. Most respect animals much more than the deluded public that doesn't want to know about the process before selecting the package at the store. Thanks for the good examples your channel supplies.
I stop buying and eat meat AT KROGER,KROGER 15 years ago. Because how the CAGE animals are abused. Then you eat them, tumors, dose that bother, you or your family. Because I watch what people buy,HERE SOMETHING,FUNNY,YOU,YOU,don't even know that tumor meat come's from. WAIT,don't forget to cook that, tumor meat, well done,HA,HA,HA!
Hello, nothing seems to be happening on your channel of late, can you let us know what is going on? If you are not posting anymore videos I will unsubscribe. Regards
Videos will pick back up soon. It's hard to film here in the heat of summer as we have triple digit heat with high humidity regularly. Usually take a 2 month break I'm filming during the hottest part of the summer but there will be more videos soon
My dogs love wheat grass and the seeds
They made me watch this and told me to get growing!
Exelent material. Thank you for improving my fodder system.
You do a great job of communicating and explaining , without boring me. And you’re super cute!
Thank you VERY much young lady! Very well done. Was looking for a way to supplement chicken feed and got rabbits too. And for my salads. I believe it was you I watched years ago making cordage. Glad I found you again. Now I'll have to watch them all. 🙄😄 Keep it up!👍
I haven't checked you out in a couple years. It was very pleasant to see you cover one of my favorite seeds to sprout.
Preciate your time and effort.
You have so many excellent videos! You are a very knowledgeable young lady! Thanks for sharing :) Much appreciated!
I've really been wanting to do this for my chickens. I made some mistakes on my first sad attempt. This tutorial is very helpful. Thank You!
Glad you found it useful! :)

Great video Miranda, plz keep them coming!
Always, always, great video from you! Complete instructions from some one with real life experience! Thank you!

This UA-cam channel is awesome! So much great info, easy to follow, you're very well spoken. Thanks for sharing the knowledge :)
Apparently this plant does not need a no light time. Interesting. Wonderful job. Thanks for sharing...
Bob Cotter There are quite a few seeds that do not require light and are nutritional powerhouses. Remember that should the power grid ever go down.
Interesting and as always, very clearly explained. I appreciate all the time and forethought that goes into your videos.
well you have been quiet lately, thx for the update, been wondering what u were up to.
I just found you and I'm glad I did. One of the best recommendations from youtube
I just love that cat. Mine would do just the same thing and then behave as if nothing's wrong.
Love that lisp. Good Video, Thanks
I germinate most of my plumeria seeds that way but to add to her germination tray construction, use a hot soldering iron to do the drain holes. Saves time. Plus the longer you hold the hot soldering iron in the plastic tray, the bigger the hole will melt to.
As always, another great tutorial!
Love the video! Just a btw!! Wire bottoms on bunny feet can cause bumble foot!
Hi! I have 2 questions for you; what does the "ht" stand for, and who taught you all of the knowledge you have? Love your videos!
There is real power in Wheatgrass!
This is excellent!!! Thank you for sharing 😌💕
it would be a great ideal for water for rabbits in the winter time. here where i at we have frozen water in the winter.
Hi from down under, my hubby does this as well he say that your the bees knees in your gen you are doing a job of showin.g other people on how to diff thing
thanks :)
Great video.Thanks.
Thank you for this instructional video.
I'm sure both the chickens and bunnies are saying ' Ça c'est bon ' can you ya do a video on heritage seeds. Thank you.
GREAT VIDEO!
GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video! Very informative but I felt sorry for the bunnies, living in those cages without soil under their feet.
you rock, new sub.
blessings & abundance!
Welcome you the HT family!
hot ice pick will work well too.
Really great job, you are amazing, Don't you get any mold? Don't it need to cover to avoid flies or insects?
This an excellent idea, and a good double-use prep. I'm gonna try it this winter. Have you tried any other grains?
good idea's , thank you :)
love your video and you are so pretty
LOL, I just talked to your Chickens! #BlessedBeThee🦋. “Is that goood?”
Awesome video! And I thought it was necessary to have a grate for the seeds to sit on!. Can you tell me what other seeds are good to fodder? Just found you and I love your channel 😊
Perfect use of Wedding Dress 🤣
wow, here in Alberta Canada I get it at the Mill for $10 for 50 pounds
I like wheatgrass, it doesn't taste bad. Just watch out for your cat, it's the same stuff they sell as "cat grass" one time I grew some and my sons cat got into it ate it all!
The cat didn't mess with it but it's probably good for them.
+Survival HT oh yes it sure is.
I really like your (cut to the chase)
Are you using well water? Is there a concern about fluoride in city water? Our city water is pretty toxic.
Wonder if this could be grown in larger batches, "mowed" with hedge trimmers and dried for "wheat grass hay". A solar dryer/dehydrater maybe? What about frozen root mats? Just thinking...
You can buy wheat straw
Great video ! Where did you purchase the black bins?
Howdy! Any idea why I might be getting mold in my growth. I am assuming it is from over watering, but I wanted your take on it. Thanks!
Try adding more drainage
Have you done any rabbit videos? I would love to see them!
Where do you buy 100lbs wheat for $8 ?? Everywhere I looked 50lbs is about $56
At the feed store in south central Louisiana
I go to my local elevator, I live in wheat country, and they let me take the spillage after they load a train
Really nice.
Hey there.

exellent video
great video- thanks for sharing. Your kitty cracks me up :) Curious if your wheat berries are non-gmo?
Can you make a video on making Ezekiel bread?
Hey darling. Wonder in I know this video was done a long time ago but where can you get that grass for $8? I don't know if it went up in price or not or I'm just looking in the wrong area
I get it from a local co-op, but yes it has doubled in price since the video was made
Where did you get your seed, can you post a link
Have you made bread with the sprouts?
A movie star pretty girl and a great presentation. I had no idea, I could go to a feed store. I live in Texas, feed stores are everywhere. I have the same pan from Wal-Mart! Thank you for this video.
Hi, I am in South Central Louisiana also. Where are you getting your non-GMO chaff removed wheat? I am just starting my system and am looking for a source nearby$8 per 100 pounds sounds good. BTW, Great Video!
Do you have a problem with city water having chlorine and Chloramine affecting germination?
Very interesting video but one things i have noticed you have wasted gallons of water to wash barley, isn't it...? Save water and give awareness to the people through many videos in future good luck👍👍
How many degrees should the temperature be set at?
Could you let it grow to seed and not have to buy anymore?
... but, it's a cat litter box!!! - cookie :D On a more serious note.. how much livestock do you reckon you could support with your current system? btw, great video.
Do you need to soak barley seeds longer than wheat seeds? Also, if you leave the chaff on, will it still sprout?
Now when u r throwing that seed root mass gotta question Would I be able to bury it in dirt in my yard and it take off growing
Hi Survival HT,
Would you please tell me where you get your wheat grass seeds from. I have heard you mentioned that you got them from the farmers market. Can you provide me the website of the vendor where got it? Thanks in advance.
where can i buy wheat grass seed by bulk thank you
If you don't mind me asking, what state do you live in? I've watched some of your videos and you have a pleasant accent but I've never heard it before! Great information btw!
I knew if I watched more than 30 seconds you'd say where! Never mind lol
I grow wheat & rye to make beer.. :)
where is a good source for buying fresh non-GMO grains from?
would this work for growing bean sprouts?
+Christonya Watson will work for any sprouts
are u using lead free garden hoses?
Amazing...
I hope those bunnies are pets….

Thank you. This is probably the best explanation concerning butchering your own stock as I've ever heard (and I'm 67 years old).

Do you eat these Animals?
Oh yeah, I forgot to say when you drained the water I had to pause to go pee. 😐
I just spend $14 on 2 lbs on amazon -_-

Not to worry, it is hot as blazes here too...(St. Louis) Yesterday 99 and 58% humidity. Just standing still you start sweating.
Are your rabbits for meat?
I am going to grow it to feed my red wiggler worms.
I need your email . I need your help.
