Thank you for explaining everything so baby steps and clear. Don't pay attention to some annoying comments here. I already bought your kit. I will follow every step. I'm now looking up for "how to harvest" and "juicing" video. Thanks!
does the mat contribute to the mineral content of the wheatgrass? or can I go without the mat? as ive been seeing videos where you can grow completely soil less and no grow mat. ps thank you for taking the time to make such a good video with really detailed explanation.
Thank you so much for such a comprehensive guide to growing wheatgrass. I'm thinking of growing for health reasons as opposed to the grass juice powder I now use. My question is, if the mold should start, is the wheatgrass still viable to drink, or should it that tray be thrown away?
Judy Fleming white fuzzy “mold” usually rinses off” black mold...bad. We spray white with a teaspoon of baking soda in a gallon of water. Look up mold control for wheatgrass.
Hi @Norly! To answer your question is ...you can regenerate as many times as you'd like...but as I tell all of my customers and on my companies website, you only want to regenerate it one time, because it will start to deminish in potency, hope that helped! :)
yes! hydroponics contains higher nutrient values, including vitamins, but has less iron content in hydro. The main difference is protein, wheatgrass hydro is almost 10x more than soil. source: we ran tests and had samples analysed
This video was made years ago. Now they make the so-called growing medium out of a very fragile material that's like a paper towel when it's wet. When its fresh and new straight out of the box it sort of has a little body. But as soon as it gets wet or contacts water it becomes very mushy. So pour your water in the tray first before you place their growing medium in or else the force of the running water will break it up into bits.
Actually you can eliminate the $2.00 or so per coco coir mat, or the new antimicrobial mats they are selling. You can buy re-usable plastic craft canvas! Yes the exact same plastic craft canvas that you used for the tray liners in the Excalibur Dehydrators. The material is PET! This can be purchased at places like Hobby Lobby in the yarn craft section. Look for sheets that are called 10 count of this . So for about $1.50, you can re use the matt(s) over and over again!..Just wash it. www.joann.com/search?q=10%20count%20canvas shop.hobbylobby.com/products/clear-10-count-plastic-canvas-sheet-310573/ "Sure to Grow" pads are made from recycled PET plastic, which is sterile, inert, and pH neutral.

this guy is a great teacher-communicator.
Can u use a dome instead of half a roll of paper towels? Im new i need to know
if you dont want to eat all at once...how long can you keep the sprouted wheat grass for?
Wow, that was very nicely done. Thank you very much for your efforts. I'm excited to do this! My seeds have started to sprout!
can you make an azomite water solution post-harvest to replenish minerals for a better second harvest?
Does you need to add nutrients to the grow without soil? Also will some kitchen roll do for a mat instead?
can u use colloidal silver for mold control
What could I use as a PERMANENT growing medium besides coco fiber?
Can you use that azomite for growing micro-greens? If not, what additives do you recommend for micro-greens?
Is this cost effective compared to growing wheat grass in soil?

in your video you are shown adding only one drop of the GSE solution but your voice says to add 1 dropper full of it. So which is it? Thanks!
Trace minerals should have been in the soaking water?
after i harvest, will the grass grow back automatically? OR do i have to start all over again with new seeds?
hi, can you reuse the Micro-Mat for new batch of wheat grass? pls get back.
Hi... do you know how many times can i regrow the wheatgrass?
4:06 how do you call that liquid (solution ) you drop in water? What is it importance?

What is the weight of the pre measured bag?
do you send the kits to Germany? How much is the postage?
I thought I was the only one that ran my hand over their tall luscious grass that was homegrown...LOL
I see a CocoTek mat product that has rubber in it. That WOULD make it slow to decompose I would think, yes.
CuriousEarthMan How much?

+Sam Martin do you know what that material is called?
+Green pee I have no idea. Sorry.
Once it's ready for cutting, you can cut the whole crop off and refrigerate any unused portions for up to 10 days.
Why is there only one drain tray when there are 3 growing trays with holes? That doesn't make sense to me. Please explain.
Two questions:
Why is wheatgrass-growing with soil to prefer?
Is that azomite also available in Europe?
Greetings from Germany.... :)
What if I want flour

Is there nutritional differences in Hydro vrs Soil based growing?
No
Why are you using a cocunut mat? they can grow just fine on their own, their rootmass will create a natural mat for them.
What nutrient mix do you use?
loads of marketing...
all you need is a tray, seeds, water. sun - DONE!!!
Do you not need to use an organic liquid spray added at the start of the growing stage?
Mike M No, wheatgrass grows like windfire granted it gets light and water.
what about to regrow from same sprouts
can i ask, why do you prefer soil kits?
Aaron Posts stuff
Five years later....
Because he probably sells them (directly or indirectly)
Parker!!
how do you make powered wheat grass
Thanks for Sharing!

The issue with hydroponics is you have to purchase "plant food" or nutrition and supplements that are costly.
