"I'm not a professional animator.' Oh I see, you really out here lying?
R.I.P Michael Jayston.
The funniest things were the bits about not being professional animator and not being able to compete with animation teams -- while walking all over them with some pretty smooth animation.
As a fellow animator, the idea of an almost hour long animation being made by one person to this quality is insane. Unfortunately I don't have time to watch it all now but I will watch it at some point given the work you have put in. Keep up the good work!
"I know this isnt ordeal"
"Im not a professional animator"
Shhhhhh you made something that could legit rival canadian animation with significantly less manpower and budget. Be proud.
This is crazy - the full episode animated. Respect.
When the Sixth Doctor said, "..." I felt that.
Since there is people complaining for the price of the original audio, maybe you'll know that Big Finish has moved part of their library on Spotify. That could provide some material that people could listen to for free. I have most of their works, so I don't have to worry about that.
Josh, I love you're bringing all these Big Finish projects to life visually! I know you do these for fun, and I hope you do an 8th doctor story one day. Would love to see anything with the 8th doctor in some visual form!
Invaders from Mars would be perfect
I just happened to buy the audio the same week so I listened to it with this. Really helped me visualise the story and understand what was going on. Nice touch with the cat badge stall
Me: watches the video in complete silence.
😅😅😅
You're not the only one
I really don't know how you manage to do these to such a high standard. They're really engaging and an amazing way to rediscover and re-experience these stories. The art style and direction are great and I can't articulate how much I enjoy these productions. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 💛💛💛💛💛
thank you 💕💕
Thanks for delivering superb content to a disapproving fandom regardless! :D
I really appreciate the subtitles because english isn't my first language so it helps a lot and I know it can take a lot of time to do
It’s auto-generated, so there may be some issues! Sorry!
Keep listening to Big Finish audios, and you will see your english will improve no end. I'm italian and I can listen to whatever I want even with no subtitles.
@@sabrinatirabassi3529 yes my English is pretty good thanks to Doctor who. Big finish audio are a bit harder though because it’s hard to stay focus during the all things, Josh’s animations really helps for that
Love the direction you went with this - it's so ruddy bloody good! Keep up the wonderful work!
Just tried. Synch is perfect. You are my hero!
Happy the sync worked!! :)
I'm watching this with subtitles as I wanted to see the animation a bit first - it is AMAZING! I'm enjoying it without the sound, so it must be good. If this was released I'd buy it - so impressed :)
This very cute animation style somehow absolutely fits the mood of the story. Brilliant work! ❤
Amazing work as per usual! What I enjoy most about watching fan animations is seeing how others visualise a story. I get mixed feelings watching these because it conflicts with my own visual representation that I've set in my head, but there's no denying this is a fine creation!
Doing Gods work. Hopefully many more to come.
I just finished it, it was so well animated. Big THANKS for that. As a French Doctor Who fan, the subtitles also helped me as well to understand the story. I'll take a look at your next works!
Beautifully done ending.
Animation looks good. Now to buy that episode!
This was great! I showed this to my brothers while I played the audio from my phone on the surround sound, got the timing perfect, and it was a blast! It flew by, really captured the worlds well, even with a simpler animation style. Lightyears beyond anything I could hope to achieve! Continue doing what you’re doing.
I’m so happy to hear the sync worked well! Thanks for watching :)
Josh; impressive! Clearly a labor of love and so well executed. This made me happy
Man, it was so emotional in the scene where the Doctor tells Peri " ".
The regeneration story Colin Baker deserved! FANTASTIC!
10/10 this is a really amazing animation and really good to see the 6th Doctor final adventure at last
This is beyond amazing! I don’t know what you mean by “I am not a professional animator” because your work rules!
So cool to have josh! Can’t wait to revisit when I’m next listening!
This is absolutely Fantastic, Massive respect!
Excellent!! Great to finally watch the Sixth Doctor’s final adventure, and I know you’ve been working on this for ages but it’s bittersweet we get one final rematch with the Valeyard
Go Josh!
Just finished it and loved it. It's nice to finally have a full enough episode for 6's regeneration. I could rant all day at how the modern show has missed out on turning this disaster back in the day into a opportunity. I remember watching the Flux thinking If only 6 would turn up now and this was all a story around his final story, I'm sure they could have concocted some excuse for his age. But yes lets be grateful to Big Finish for this...and to you for animating in a more than adequate way. Thanks xxx
It worked perfectly for me. Well done. I really enjoyed the additional element of the added animation. It's like if Doctor Who ever existed on cheez TV.
omg cheez TV reference!!
While I can't buy the audio until next payday I can't help but take a gander at this it's just so impressive how you can do this to such a high quality.
I'm going to let it play on my phone in a different room to add a view in this important first release time to hopefully help with the algorithm.
💕💕💕
Just watched and ,it ended thankyou Josh that were amazing will watch the rest
This is amazing. Always loved this story. Being able to watch it is really quite special. Thanks so much. If you're going to do anything else, an 8th Doctor title would be marvellous! Thank you so much for creating this animation and for sharing it with the world. Loved it.
Absolutely stunning work, Joshua! I know how hard this wiould have been, with all of the problems you'll have overcome along the way, and it's turned out excellently. Love it.
Thank you! My Trial set is horrific compared to yours! 😅
I had finished all those scenes after watching your video and thought “I got the scale WAY off!” 😅😅
@@JoshSnares It looks fine to me - though if I'd known, I'd have sent you the plans, to be certain... Great stuff though, and I love the big screen in the other TARDIS!
Absolutely superb. I love watching these. They are an incredible achievement. Thank you fof sharing them.
Brilliant start to my weekend
Another brilliant animation! Go Josh!
Fantastic!!!! Thank youuu looks brilliant!!
Thank you for the insane amount of work you've put into this! I actually tried bingewatching legit every Big Finish audio with The Doctor in it and I ended up quitting during the 6th Doctor ones due to not being able to remember 90% of the content. This next watch is bound to be memorable!
Just finished watching, phenomenal work! The creative directions you took with Genesta's TARDIS, the Matrix etc is exactly why I prefer animation to audio. The fact when the credits came up I was able to recall every character is a huge difference to my previous bingewatching. Thank you!
I bought this when it was released, nice to see it at last. As long as you'll keep sticking to old audios I'll be up to date.
LOVED THIS!
This Is fantastic, thank you for sharing your creativity and hard work with the big finish/classic who fandom
Excellent work there Josh! Very well done 👍🏻
Stunning, thank you for this
Yet another fantastic animation; a brilliant tribute to old Sixie himself
I just want you to know how much your work has inspired me, and maybe one day I'll get round to a Big Finish animation myself. Time will tell and all that ;)
We need to get the reactors to react to this.
Amazing work, thank you for this! My own quibble is you made Sixie''s cardigan blue instead of red until the end, but besides that, I'm very thankful. Thank you for this!
You are a legend
I liked 6 handing over to 7 :)
Sinced up perfect ❤
Your efforts bring a Shining Light to true fans in an very dark era of TV ✌️ .....thanks and please 🙏 make more 😜
I salute you sir
This was so exciting to watch!!!!! You made my weekend way better, thank you for helping me make my girlfriend into a doctor who fan ^-^
Well done; I look forward to watching it. My only gripe is nothing to do with you but it is a shame that Big Finish don't have the option to buy just one episode of the Last Adventure series. I have never been able to get into the audio adventures and have only bought one previous one which was for the animation you did before.
This might breach copyright but what about adding in captions or maling a video with them in. Animation looks great. You should contact big finish and pitch this. They could have a whole new market, animating audio adventures. Got the look of Six, Time And The Rani Mel and Valeyard.
Absolutely superb! Your Sixth Doctor is... obscenely cute! Have you thought about doing any of the War Doctor audios, perhaps his post-regeneration story, "Light the Flame"?
Countdown begins 0:40
I love you from Italy, thanks.
Ciao, dansplace.
Excellent!
These are great! I hope you keep doing them but I know it has to be a huge amount of work. How do you decide which stories you are going to animate?
Whoa, Josh - incredible work. How long does it take you to do these? They're always incredibly on point!
This one was about 3-4 months!
*I wonder how far I can get before I have no idea what's going on without audio*
1:06
Amazing Animation as always, Just wanted to ask something since I was having a Problem. For Personal convenience I downloaded the Animation and the the Audio to edit them together, and I can Sync it at the beginning, but when I go to other parts the Sync slowly fades and by the end where the mouth movements come a second or 2 before the sound. Idk if this is just a me problem, I've tried a few times now with no luck and sorry if this Inconveniences you in any way, Just thought I would ask.
What media player are you using? If using media player or VLC etc, there is a very slight pause as it goes from one track to the next, which may explain why the audio starts to lag behind the further the story goes along.
Yeah I think that’s a VLC problem!
@@JoshSnares I put them both in a video editor to Join them together to then watch but the problems still there. I managed to cut down on all the segements off the audio which seems to go out of sync for now, So Its all aligned perfectly now.
Absulutly AMAZING! (can you do 'out of time 3: wink'?)
Please do beyond war games next! The second doctor is the best!
I just watched this...
With captions..
And No Audio!!
Terrific stuff!..👍🆒
If possible, can you post here how many actual “work-hours” this took..by Yourself???😳😳
EPIC!!!
Stella work! Will you be animated the rest of it?
Nah just episode 4. It works as a standalone :)
Can you do visually of the third doctor story the blue tooth
Could anyone please pinpoint the exact frame at which the audio should start so I can properly sync it up? Is it the exact frame at which the 1 disappears?
Exactly after the countdown ends
@@JoshSnares Nice, thanks!
With your previous animation; I synched it up in Adobe Premiere Pro and has to slide the audio a bit to get the synch right. Can I suggest you provide a second copy on your site which starts at the exact start of your animation ie without the countdown. That would be helpful.
I have to include the opening or else people won’t understand where the audio is. You’re going to import it into Premiere either way, just cut it off.
@@JoshSnares Thanks Josh; understandable. I am assuming then that it should start at the next frame after the "1" disappears.
@@glennperch yep! :)
@@JoshSnares Perfect; thanks
I leave the countdown of 1-5 and sync so starts as hits 5. Used a Freeware…. Then I chop off everything before the 1. So, providing Josh does all his intro before 1, I get a perfect video and audio. I really think this is a fun project…these animations…
❤❤
Can you try doctor who the sixth doctor last adventures the end of the line that got the Tremas Master
Just one question but where will I get some big finish audio for free and you at least tell me where I can purchase the brink of death audio only or least download it from piracy site, or you can send it to me.
Tried so hard trying to line this up with the audio but I could not get it in sync (I'm rubbish at this). A shame as it'd be interesting to see properly.
I have succeed,I will try to upload it soon
@@ForThePrince Id appreciate a link xx :)
Can you sync the subtitles, not just auto-generate it?
It has wrong parts using wrong words....
Is that 35€ for 4 hours of audio, of which this is part 4?
Yeah Big Finish ain’t cheap anymore! I don’t set the prices. But there are always other ways of getting audios for free… 🏴☠️
Josh your work continues to blow me away every time mate. I will say though, please don’t work for Ian lavine or at least get paid upfront first. Ian is a notorious grifter asking animators to work unpaid to finish his personal animation projects. He claims to be a successful producer and has the money to be able to pay for an animator, yet he thinks good will alone is enough for animators. Your worth a lot more than that josh 👍
Hello! Thank you for your kind words :)
Trust me, I’ve been warned. He was begging for me to do a recon of Feast of Steven and I said no. Nowadays he says my work is awful. He changes his tune fast!
He’s entitled to his opinion, and I’m picky with who I work with! These are just for my enjoyment, but it’s nice others seem to enjoy them too :)
