I love the idea of the Eternal Dalek being essentially a historian or librarian. Someone who exists to analyse Dalek History and learn from their mistakes. It’s such a shame we never got to see more of the Paradigm. The fact we only ever see the Supreme Dalek talk on screen after their first appearance in Victory of the Daleks was such a let down. Also love the modifications to the Paradigm design to make them slightly less bulky and awkward.
I loked the feel of the paradigm here. They're very quick to brush off the doctor's usual quips and thinly veiled threats. The eternal in particular seems almost playfully curious in a sadistic way.
Thisis EXCEPTIONAL. Jason does a recreation of Matt Smith's voice so perfect that if I didn't KNOW it was him I'd think Big FInish had hired Smith? And the animation? You Josh Snares HAVE TO do a story together. Them, you could EX TER MIN ATE the competition. David

I loved Big Finish's Eleventh Doctor Chronicles arc (often referred to as "Series 7V" by fans), with Victory of the Doctor being my favourite volume. Your CGI animation perfectly visualises the scenes involving the Eleventh Doctor and the New Dalek Paradigm, especially the dramatic cliffhanger which (since my first listen) send chills down my spine.
Excellent animation, you have outdone yourself yet again! I suppose it was pyrrhic victory for The Daleks at first and a hollow victory for The Doctor.
This is absolutely gorgeous. I much would honestly much prefer if big finish made their stories into animations like this instead since it would make their stories feel so much more inclusive. Also I love the idea of the Eternal Dalek essentially being a Dalek historian/record holder of information on their history. It would also be cool if it was somewhat out of sync to time like the Time strategist and Time controller are. Please keep up the good work these animations are brilliant xx
Thanks, my problem with the eternal is that I wanted to like him, but unfortunately he was overshadowed by the time strategist which I think was intended to be the eternals role. Now this paints him as nothing special, no special abilities. His role seems to be to maintain the mental and genetic purity of the daleks.
Only someone like you would have made animated adoption of audio from BF's hot boxset. I tip my hat to you. Addition: So the Eternal Dalek is record keeper of Dalek History.
Actually like that brigs did unique voices for them in this since he didn’t get a chance during victory of the daleks they sound interesting and hope more Paradigm stories come from this
This animation is Fantastic! Brilliant job! This definitely gives Ps2 vibes. The lighting, the camera angles, the shadows. It’s like Cutscenes to a Doctor Who ps2 video game that never got made! Also I love 7:35 with all the different bronze Daleks. Especially that one Dalek at 7:49 where it starts staring up for no reason lol. Was that a reference to one of the random Parliament Dalek in Asylum randomly staring at the ceiling?
The eternals role when you listen to the audio is very different to the time controller, he is more of a bureaucrat, and is more focused on the mental and genetic purity of the dalek race
So this must be set after Oswin erases the memory of the Doctor- I have this audio on my list of to be listened whilst in drive time- must check this out soon
Yeah its set after the Snowmen, as the doctor is searching for Clara. Its a fantastic set of stories. It does have flaws, but overall its good. I love that the orange scientist gets a lot of the limelight as well as the eternal, but not going to lie, the Eternal is a bit of let down, but i think thats because of the fantastic characterization of the Time Strategist.
Sort of story Matt smith’s doctor needed. Something that challenges him. No jokes, no pretences, clever way out, no “I am the doctor”. Never liked moffats more kiddy tone with smiths Doctor .

This audio fumbled the paradigm and further made them into a joke. All that aside this is an excellent animation despite the crimes of the source material. I love the intricacies and small details of the animation. Fantastic indeed.
Because they are in it. The paradigm daleks at this point are officer class. As its a sequel to asylum of the daleks. Also the SWDs are bronze daleks. Bronze daleks are in the trailer for the set. So sorry, that's why i included them, because they are in the story.

I’ll admit it’s not what I thought the eternal dalek would be but it feels better…….like it’s a prototype of the prime minister

I’m so glad someone animated this I’ve always been a fan of the paradigm and I’m glad big finish picked them up after Moffat abandoned them

Yeah its set after the Snowmen, as the doctor is searching for Clara. Its a fantastic set of stories. It does have flaws, but overall its good.
