I certainly know there's people that have an issue and use the chance of offending me as an excuse but I also have people that do care for me and still come around and do things with me just be so apprehensive and say like, "I'm sorry I don't know how to refer to you... or I don't really understand... I've been afraid to talk about trans things because if I mess up everyone will say I'm transphobic..." and the reality is it's just not always the case. They dont understand all the terms and language around trans issues so they arent even sure what foot to start off on when looking into or asking anything. Regardless I am just holding space on my channel for people to learn. And of course for trans folk. I wont allow ignorance to go to the lengths of becoming outright offensive
My darling they don’t like the fact you are trans. They are trying to blame you for their absence by saying they are afraid of offending you.
