I'm Ayla Belle and have been making videos since 2017.
I originally started to make videos to document changes in my transition but have since expanded to share more of my life, like documenting travels and exploring film making as an art form!

Talking About My Short Film and Detransition

I am quite proud of what I was able to accomplish with my short film, 'What I Learned From Detransition' which can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/Giaoy0riipw/v-deo.htmlsi=Td0exv5varzog_XO The short film helps document what has been a challenging year and experience, but doesn't do an excellent job of thoroughly discussing what occurred and why I detransitioned. The End of Spironolactone!? Another HRT and life Update
I began to star seeing your videos but in a random way or in backwards I mean my first video is the 2 year’s anniversary and is amazing what HRT can do, specially in you, by the 6th month you just have incredible results, that’s why I went to the very first video and here I’m posting my first comment. You like most of the Trans girls had something in common that is we already despite the testosterone we have that spark that identifies us as a women…I’m trans woman as well but I’m in what is call late transition. That doesn’t matter too much to me and I’m saying this because we learn from all the ones who already started even if they could be your child. All I’m just trying to say is that I want to be your friend no matter the distance because I’m from Mexico but I’ll watching all of your videos. You are amazing and thanks for share all your experiences.
Aww thank you @IsabelEdith. This is such a sweet message!
I don't have a job or saved money but I have medical insurance
Congratulations baby I still have not started to to get Hormones and therapy is a risky thing to do with my mother and brother lives in my apartment and I'm trying to get into a rehab for meth and alcohol and my other problems are can I do both things in the same time
At the end of the day you have to do what’s right for you in your own time. Take it at your own pace. If things feels overwhelming just remember to work on smaller bits one at a time. You will find your way!
I'm 54 years old and separated since 14.yrs from my wife she is still a good girl in my life as a man I been living a double life between the two genders and I met a lot of transgender people in the last few years so I will never felt so sure of my life change to be a girl trans girl I need your opinion on the age that I have I'm I still good for estrogen
Hello @JorgeAyabar. As I once heard, the opposite of depression is expression.. not joy.. so it can be easy to enter those dark heavy spaces when you do not feel you can express yourself freely. I think there is no wrong age to be your truest self- trans or otherwise. If you feel HRT can help you in your expression I don’t think there is any wrong age to explore those options. This being said I am careful to not really give advice on HRT. Talk with a doctor about your options. They will help you get well informed options. Not every doctor may be great for that so you may have to look around. But do get a doctor you trust as HRT is nothing to play around with. Whatever path you take, I hope you do come to a place where you no longer feel you are living double lives and can be your authentic self in all aspects of your life 😊✌🏻
Thanks babe I love your comment about the hormones and I don't have any insurance I got medical and I don't know if it Covers transition to be a girl

Your a male your not a true woman you can't can't change your DNA like people thinks they can
Yes. I am not trying to change my DNA.. you realize the whole “trans” part of transition is the acknowledgement that I was born male and now live as a woman right? Like a “trans woman” is its own thing… I assure you, all your assumptions of me of likely false… and you know what they say about assuming things right? Your not a woman your a man
You see me however you want, hunn.. I’ll tell ya.. been travelling the world and like 95% of people address me as “miss”. And many others chose to respect me when I correct them. So enjoy being the 1%. I guess that makes you special or something. Just not in my world 🤷🏼♀️

@@AylaBelle and you can't take the truth you was born a male and you never can change that
I’m literally agreeing with you. Yes I was born male. I live as a female. A trans woman is person who was born male and lives as a female because their identity-not their body- has always felt female. I’m not “taking any truth”. This is the truth. It’s a well documented phenomenon that has been occurring across all cultures for many millennia
Your better looking as a male
Well at least we can be sure my transition was out of truth and not vanity ❤️

In Tuesday it will now be exactly 7 years of estrogen
I am going to going to the General surgery male to female and I am going to go to be transition prid
I hope it goes well!
sorry this happened to you.
Thank you. It is unfortunate and definitely something that medical systems could better work on but I am grateful for the personal lesson and growth. It challenged me and ultimately reaffirmed my conviction of self and my journey. So a blessing in disguise perhaps?
@@AylaBelle Yes indeed you could have been treated better.
Hey hun, thanks for sharing your experience. It looks like you saw and experienced some amazing things. That blue lagoon looked like the type of place I could have spent a whole day! How did you find the people there? I totally understand that you would like to make videos about content other than being transgender, but I'm just interested to know how open and accepting the people there were. Btw, your nails looked gorgeous!
100% if you ever go to Blue Lagoon, give yourself a full day! Rain or shine it will be amazing! Iceland has been amazing! I have not had any issues with people! Everyone is so accepting! I have only been misgendered literally in England! I am starting to feel like I maybe have passing privilege? Which isn’t an experience I have all the time at home. I will say, I can’t say I will never make videos on trans issues again. It can just be a hard topic to stay in and still feel excited about film making for me currently. But there will at least be one video talking about how awesome and accepting Europe has been ❤️ Thanks for the love and support and happy to hear from you again! 😊

saw u on megan kelly, you're brave for speaking out
Interesting… I am unaware of being featured anywhere other than The Queer Network. Where exactly did you see me?
Looking now, I see Megyn Kelly did an interview with Isabelle Ayala who had detransitioned. I think you have me confused with this guest. My name is Ayla Belle which bears some similarity I guess. Yes I did detransition but I must say it was because I lost access to my hormones due to miscommunications in the medical system where I was living. I took time off of hormones after being anxious about how precarious access to life saving medicines could be. Ultimately I did return to my hormones and continue my transition though.
Looks amazing!! It's going on the list!!
Woohoo! 🙌🏻 You won’t regret it!
Yeah Lucifer had a pride in his heart he fell on earth like lightning
Honestly… *GOALS*
Hey Ayla, I only just came across your channel and I'm excited to hear all about Iceland but also catch-up on all your other videos. I've only watched your 3 month transition video and your detransition video. Wow, you took not having access to hormones so well! I don't want to think about what a mess I would have been. I honestly can't believe that you are getting so few views and have such a small subscriber base given how interesting and well put together your videos are (plus how pretty you are!). Anyway, I hope you have an amazing trip!
🥰🥰🥰 You are just the sweetest! Thank you! Ultimately I think losing access to hormones was tough but I owned the opportunity to really explore the realization that being trans for me means to be medically dependant… so that was an important part of my journey. And yes! I will do some more editing tonight to be sure the rest of Iceland and my Europe ventures hit UA-cam in a timely fashion ❤️ Thank you so much for following along! 🙏🏻
Hi Ayla... that is so awesome wow. Take care honey and be safe and have fun.
Thank you Catherine! I’m glad you’re enjoying it! Thanks for watching and following along 🥰
You sound more feminine than B Author from Golden Girls.
How to get estrogen?
I discussed everything with my family doctor. We went over pros and cons and what options would be ideal for my circumstances.
You can also call planned parenthood if you have informed consent laws in your state. Surprisingly, even Texas of all places has them.
Ur voice is sweet is it hrt effect !any tip on that
Thank you! Unfortunately HRT has had no effect on my voice. Any soothing or sweet nature to it has just been gradual socialization. I have tried feminizing vocal practices but ultimately felt I was harming my voice more than doing good. And honestly I get a fair amount of compliments on my voice, but personally feel quite self conscious of it. So thanks for the support and the compliment. Sorry I don’t have better news 😅
Can we b friends ?
Thank you. I can't stop crying. Three months on HRT hasn't been easy for me. As a non-binary person, I don't have specific goals for HRT or transition. I know in my heart that I'll always be somewhere in-between. I want to love and accept myself, however I fall into the spectrum. The future is exciting, but scary. ❤
Transition is a very difficult process. Medical transition especially. We all have different ideas, comfort levels and allowances for where it might take us. It makes the process very unique for everyone as well as a continuous process. I hope you get everything you are seeking from your journey and experience lots of support, confirmation and gender euphoria in your process ❤️
@@AylaBelle thank you!
Each of us, as enlightened Spiritual Beings, are non binary in our perfect state. The body is only part of your Beingness. You're supposed to be PERFECTLY Unique. ❤
I often record to the iPhone then load the file to GarageBand multitrack function or iMovie depending on the type of eq / effects/ number of spoken or music tracks - for me personally, it’s easier to see all the content stacked like a time/ location stamped layer cake where i pick and choose from there, than it is to try to see it in linear fashion, like an endless ribbon. Or scrolling through multiple pages.
I do this with my videos too! Sometimes my audio was coming from multiple cameras/ audio inputs so I would put each input on a different track and work the audio to all level equally and nice with each other. This also allows that if I have footage from my zve1 at the beginning and end of my video, because that’s all in the same track it will get treated together. I do the same thing with colour corrections or grading on the visuals
Ive been following the “creator exodus” as well with some interest. ( shareholder in Google full disclosure) UA-cam is the only subscription service that I pay for , I am an full time artist and musician, It’s an enormous help in many many regards, and I am indebted to the creators who produce content for the music tracks, and the myriad of instructional and educational vids. I l”am of the belief that this “exodus” is a harbinger of a healthy future and that as UA-cam reaches a more and more disparate audience, there’s room for smaller more niche stuff that ordinarily wouldn’t get the play that it should. As I mentioned, a producer, bass player, artist, we have a saying , “ everything that happens before you touch the strings comes out in the music because your music comes from the soul.. Speaking directly re: your story; your transition, your enthusiasm for your new life is as interesting as human, as worthy as those vids posted every minute documenting improvement and advancement in skills, whether it be life skills or sports, skills or professional skills… any kid who is filming a skateboard video could relate to everything that you said, if you took out the words “transitioning” and substituted “skateboarding there is virtually no difference in the “meta” import or the desire to produce better and better content , and similarly become a better and better person at the same time. Was it the Buddha, who said that every journey starts the single step? in any case I look forward to following your journey,, a well spoken, and well reasoned manifesto here. 🎸
@TheDuppyKillah 🥰 Thanks so much dude! 💯 THIS! Full send! You ‘get’ it! Thank you for watching and truly getting things. I put a schpiel elsewhere that said how consuming such diverse and contrasting content helps a creator also make more unique content. This goes hand in hand with your mentioning of how every moment before you pluck the strings on an instrument shapes the sound that follows! There are huge ripple effects and yes the journey as a creator is naturally introspective and explorative for this very reason! And I definitely agree- UA-cam is shifting and it’s a beautiful thing! Yes there are some people who are going to grow because maybe they are into doing the shorts and the reels etc. But I think people are also seeking authenticity, tranquility.. long form content that isn’t trying to be something it’s not.. and that is super exciting too!
Looking gorg girlie-loved the video xx
Thank you Sharina! I hope all is well 😘
What if we stop taking estrogen lifelong?
You can discuss with your doctor any changes you want to make in the medications you take. You don’t ’have to’ take estrogen life long. Just make sure you discuss with your doctor as a number of factors can affect how quickly you make the change and whether or not you potentially need to take something else in lieu of the estrogen.

Ugh, I know right? Such a pain to have to shave all the time 💁🏼♀️
Hello AylaBelle it seems we have very similar experiences. I'm pretty sure we both heard the sanme first airplay that Bring me to life got because i distinctively remember those exact words from the radio host. Hearing that song for the first time at that moment evoked the same feelings in me as well, and I had from there on evanescence would be one of my gateways into actual goth music later on. I started finding gothic rock, ethereal wave and other subgenres. Hearing your story made me feel right at home and i can't wait for more of your stories ❤
Aww yes! Definitely what this series is all about! Connected with others over a shared love for awesome art and music! 🔥🔥🔥
You might have detransitioned but you definitely evolved. Much power to you. I can't imagine how scary it was for you to lose access to your hrt...but if you feel okay now, maybe it was the journey you were always meant to to go on. I hope I can stay the course....six years is a long time on this, but I know it is going to go quickly too! Do take care.
Thank you for that sentiment (re: evolved). It was a struggle but i do ultimately feel like the detransition period was a HUGE lesson for me. I have got back on hormones now for 4 months but I now feel more secure in my identity and who I am, medications or not. But have also resigned myself to the notion that a life of transition (for my journey) is a life of medical dependency.
I am glad it's been going well for you after three months. I just passed three months on estradiol (2.25mg per day now) and they added a blocker (finasteride @5mg daily). You look great and I agree about being weirded out but strangely comforted by the whistles and cat calls! Welcome to womanhood...it's quite the journey!
Aww congrats on the starting of your journey! And yes! Transitioning into womanhood is a journey to say the least 😅
I feel you. I’m 19, and living with extremely transphobic people. My dad constantly makes fun of trans people and uses slurs. When I was 15, I was really starting to understand my gender, and I progressively started dressing more masculine (I had always dressed more masculine, but I went even further). I remember cutting my hair, and my dad freaking out and telling me that I was just doing it to spite him and piss him off, which couldn’t be further from the truth. I remember begging him to understand that I did it because it felt right, and the silent treatment me gave me as I was crying. And I remember when he told me and my younger brother, after he was playing a video game as a female character, that if either of us came out as trans, he would “beat the shit out of you and disown you.” Now, I’m currently trying to make enough money to get a car, and leave to live with my aunt and uncle (they’re a lot more accepting). If I do move though, I’m very scared about what my parents might try to do.
Aww @Reed5016 Sending my well wishes and support! Take care of yourself! Safety always comes first! ❤️
@@AylaBelle Thanks. I really appreciate it.
I'm sorry this is unrelated to the video but you have such a nice, calming, beautiful voice. It's very relaxing to listen to you talk
Aww thank you so much 🥰 I’m glad you're enjoying it!
A very interesting video. 2023 boys and girls! even though these sentiments didn't exactly age well these past few years I think these people who feel this way can express whatever they feel now, just has to be of a non controlling views with a strong chockehold on many companies for some reason. At least that's what it feels like... Anyways, interesting video.
Thank you so much for watching this video with an open mind @tegamingother 💕 This video is still an incredibly vulnerable share even all these years later. But I’m glad it can offer a pause for reflection if not insight into the battles between external perception and personal expression.
