2 years and 4 months and passion and lots of practice and tenacity because I had 5 years of lessons and couldn't play that and definitely didn't have the confidence to record myself so congratulations..
thanks allot :)
Nice job! Chopin's pieces are hard as to learn, so keep at it
Wow! A great progress for just around 2.5 years👏🏻👏🏻wish you all the best and am happy for you for your great teacher. I'm still self taught only completely also since 2.5 years
thank you very much :) i really recommend getting a teacher, at first i really didn’t think i needed one but it really helped allot
@@JakobArnar I'm sure it does! But well it must be possible with the circumstances..
@@LadanzaTube yes i know what you mean, it was the same for me so i quit normal school and now im going to a music high school so i basically graduate high school by playing piano hahah
As someone who has started playing around 2.5 years too... I gotta say I’m jealous
You really bring out the lower voices beautifully.
That's awesome with that amount of practice!
this is incredible for for 2 years, keep it up!
Very impressive for your short period of study! Keep up your good work 👍🏼
wow amazing! Sounds good. The quality and clear enunciation of the melody is heard. Keep up the good work
You're so talented man. I'm literally playing piano like 6 hours per day and I don't see any result. Sure u will do great in the future
Yeah I'm gonna try to be a bit more creative and have a bit more fun
I hope so :)
@@alo_tsl8252 as long as youre having fun progress doesnt matter in my opinion. its always worth it for me to play even though i sometimes spend hours at a time just playing my ass off and not really practicing :)
I’m learning this etude right now, a beautiful piece
So you're saying I could've been good if I practiced every day since I started about 3 years ago- woahhh. Also amazing job on this piece it's my favourite and you can really see how hard you've worked.
SOSOS JEALOUS BRO IVE BEEN PLAYING PIANO FOR AT LEAST 7 YEARS AND ILL NEVER BE AS EXPERIENCED AS YOU. IM THE LEVEL OF LIKE TURKISH MARCH AFTER ALL THIS TIME 😭
It all depends on the individual's brain and the way you practice. Comparing is never a good idea because we all progress at different rates and have different experiences. If I could offer a little advice; Keep going, and focus on what you have achieved. Turkish March, not bad at all!
I agree, keep going Pascale :)
Really nice interpretation, I'd like to learn this piece soon
This is incredible man, you inspire me!
This is great 👍🏾
thanks :)
The talent you posses I wish I had :) Ive been playing for about a year having played the piano along time ago but not for long Ive improved a lot and hope to keep improving .
Your teacher is great
That's pretty amazing Jakob.I cant believe you've only been at it over 2yrs you have great potential.Keep it up!!
The difference in teachers in developed countries and developing countries sure is huge
True. But he wouldn’t have been able to play like this without hard work and grit. Don’t undermine his efforts just because he may have a better teacher. His ability and skill comes from lots of practice.
It doesnt always matter...
I live in a shit 3rd world country and ive been blessed with a GREAT teacher... he's the nicest human i know and he's great at teaching. He also knows alot about the piano because his dad and grandfather were pianists too. He isnt rich or greedy, id even say that he's poor BUT if he thinks u have talent or passion he doesnt take any money from u, and he even gets mad if u offered him money.
He makes me have faith in humanity...
Sergei Tarnowski, the man that taught Horowitz when he was 12-16 yrs used to teach the Moszkowski Etudes opus 72 and then next the 15 Kessler studies opus 22. Sounds excellent, keep up the good work.
Extraordinary!
Damn Arima, really nice ;) I've been playing for 13 years now, mostly self-taught also. Had only one year of lessons back in 2014, but I can play Chopin's 2nd scherzo for example. Never fully tried this piece, but hearing you crushing this after just 2 years gives me courage to go try again.
do it!
Hi! How are you?
2 года и сразу Шопен?это невероятно,но парень уже состоявшийся пианист.👏👏👏👏👏💐
Damn Jakob, that’s unbelievable progress in 2 years!!! You play really well, this is really inspiring tbh :)
thank you :)
I cant be one to give any kind of expert advice because I have been playing just a little bit longer than you, but I recently got a 2nd teacher who is a professional musician and gave me advice of "dont practice longer but practice smarter"
thanks very true, much of my time goes to waste when im practicing
Soooo, what should i do to practice smarter ? I get the thing, i just don’t understand what kind of exercises to do, if you have any ideas i’ll gladly take it ;)
@@aititeal i dont really do excercises but scales and all of that really helped me. but ehat i did wrong was allways playing the parts i knew well over and over again instead of focusing on the weak points :)
@@aititeal Very good question! Superb in fact. If you don't mind, can I offer one or two suggestions? Please reply and I would be happy to give you a few pointers. Email me. kieron@kwmusic.co.uk :-)
wow- loved it mate, keep up the grind
This is so inspiring 😢💗
im surprised at how talented you are. Great performance and keep going!! Have a nice day:)
thanks allot! you too :)
Im a pianist, ojalá ser como vos:( u r amazing
thank you and good luck!!
Agree
Very nice work, Jakob. I am also self taught, so I know what it means to put a lot of work into pieces that you love. I love the left hand melody in this piece. It's a very beautiful part after all of the dissonant chords.
It was about time the UA-cam algorithm decided to pick this up!
That's great! Jakob. Congratulations! Warm greetings from Monterrey, Mexico.
I do my best to answer every single comment so please ask anything you want :)
Sir Fryderyk Chopin is the pride of Poland! The whole country is very proud of him! 🇵🇱
And I'm happy because yesterday I finally finished learning Nocturne No 2 😢
That is still an impressive piece! I’m happy just playing Arabesque no. 1
Bruh I’m starting to learn toccata, op 10 no 7. It’s hard but I got the first part in a day. Piece by piece I’ll try. I can actually play fantaisie impromptu so it helps. Not trying to jack myself off in the comments or sound cocky I just wanted to share my experiences.
@@lemonmilk677 Samee i know how yo play Arabesque no1 (all the piece), the 15 first seconds of Fantaisie impromptu and now im learning Liebestraum no3 by Liszt
wow incredeble hard piece! I love your interpretation
Dope, Chopin etudes are master level ;) Congrats!
