Personally I like the name "wrong note". It shows that even wrong dissonant and messy notes can create a beautiful piece. Thus creating perfection from imperfection.
@@georges17 well thank you for reminding me that i left a comment here and also for asking, that's very nice of you sir. but wow, it's been 5 years already. I've been feeling so much better. how about you sir? may the force be with you
Very musically, i think the other versions I’ve listened to just focus on the technique, its not bad to focus on that, but you have to remember that the Chopin etudes have a musicality to it, it’s not just about technique
you should check out some of the recent interpretations done in the International Chopin Competition. Perfect balance between technique prowess and musicality
Actually (sorry to be that guy) this interpretation is the farthest from Chopin’s original score. I too like it the most, but the rhythms and pedaling that make it musical are the opposite of what Chopin indicated. You can see the manuscript for free in the official Chopin institute online.
His interpretations differs wildly from Chopin’s score in terms of musicality and dynamics, and yet I prefer it to any other. I’m learning the etude right now!

I'd like to imagine to play this piece in front of my friends and famili, acting like something wrong, then give them a surprise on the middle like etude op.10 no.4, but... it is damn hard to learn these piece 😥
Juan Ramón Silva did he say he could do it better? No, he didn't. They were simply making a note about the performance. There's no need to be so hostile.
All the interpretations about this piece dont really make sense to me. I dont hear a wrong note in this piece; its actually some or the most profoundly "correct" notes i've come across in this life time. The way the rhythmic and harmonic grating goes hand to hand as it ebs and flows in and out of sync in multiple scales of time.

Thats jsut a major chord, the start of this piece is masterpiece, it is intricate musically, exquisite, never seen before.

GeckoGC lol same😂
Shut up Arima.
GeckoGC which means that you keep hitting the right notes cuz this etude consists of wrong ones XD
Wrong. There are no 'wrong notes' in this etude. I hate the name wrong note. It's more of a playful sort of song, about the loss of childhood.
Personally I like the name "wrong note". It shows that even wrong dissonant and messy notes can create a beautiful piece. Thus creating perfection from imperfection.
The tempo and interpretation is perfect, he makes the most out of every single passage by adjusting tempo and dynamics. Very well thought.
I AM IMPRESSED! He achieved a scherzoic character without damaging Chopin's elegance...and the voiceleading- ingenious!!!
