@@DeniseFriendoThat's sick! Was that the Honey tour? My first was '92 with Sepultura and Helmet...in a Hockey ring (Wallace Civic Center, Mass) on acid of course lol smh. It's that energy💫. It's that high vibe energy mixed with that earthy drumming/ bass, that makes seeing them play in HOB, the best concert I've been too. The energy did not flag for one second, it was incredible and every album has ☯️ and I ❤ the creative changes ✨. 🦋🫶🏻🐺
Filth Pig was the 1st Ministry album I bought when was in 7th grade back '98. Didn't even know it got hate back then but I fkn loved it, even though it was a different sound than previous. I thought it was fkn QUALITY, and still is.
Filth Pig's definitely my favourite album of theirs with Psalm69 coming in a VERY close second. It's hard not to flog your car listening to Jesus Built My Hotrod😂. "Let's hit the fuckin' road". Sabotage is Sex is a masterpiece though. Everything uncle Al does is gold. So VERY glad he was able to kick the heroin otherwise he'd be another idol of mine lost to the shit. He was so wasted on smack etc during doing vocals for Just One Fix he fell off his stool more than once yet the lyrics were improvised and look what a fucking hit that turned out to be. Scarecrow though....what a fucking legendary song🤘🏻. "Laughter fills the sky instead of rain".
Lol right? Uncle Al's hair has been a mystery to me for years. Especially the last 20ish years with the dreads. I always felt he was wearing a wig of sorts. Now that the dreads are gone, I'm liking his new look, whether it's real hair or not haha 🤷
Thank god Al doesn’t listen to what the fans and record companies said. Trent Reznor was the exact same way, because they are the artists and we’re not.
Everyone? I didn't expect it. I expected something different because I was a fan of Ministry and knew they weren't just going to stick with the exact same vibe. Filth Pig was awesome and I loved it from the start, but I grew to love it even more as time went on.
To be fair, Animositisomina is kind of a sonic successor to Psalm 69. You can't expect a band to revisit an old style every time but you can expect them to do it occasionally. But from 2004 to 2014, Ministry's music did sound pretty similar.
With all due respect sir i have a ministry greatest hits CD that proves your statement to be incorrect. This CD sounds like one album, but is comprised of a few different albums...
Yeah, he is...but they (musicians) all are. Then again, he wasn't a fan of George W. either. At least he's paid his dues in having created a talented body of work.
Lol. They have always been outspoken when it comes to politics. I mean did you forget about how he viewed Reagan, Bush Sr and George W ? You probably just ignored that bit now that he's talking badly about someone you somehow idol you get offended. Trump derangement syndrome is really what all of Trump's fans have. They are just as obsessed with him as they claim the people hating him are. You would suck farts out of Trump's ass if you got the chance.
@@sarahbeaulieu999 because I am a huge fan of ministry’s music. Well, more of their music from the 90s. It’s sad to see a guy who was so far ahead of his time to now become a blind group thinker. A grown man that is all about antifa is very sad
@@aaronoverbey2147 no you are not a huge fan of a band if you can't deal with them changing musical style. FFS he started making music in the early 80's it would be odd if he hadn't changed at all. Not to mention he would be dead if he had continued using heroin and if you don't see how that could change the music you truly are an idiot. Actual Ministry fans are conversing here maybe go check out a music video from the 90's
I only like 90's ministry. Al has ridden the left wing bandwagon for too long and he's dying on that hill no matter how stupid and ridiculous their mantras get.
I've not seen him without the bandana and the dreads in forever
Saw them as Revco in 1989 in Medusas Chicago
Looks different asf, eh
I was just saying that lol 🤘🤘

He's one of the most absolutely insane characters the music industry has ever seen but when he's sober and talking he is so eloquent and intelligent.
Al... he's one of the gods of industrial rock! Who's with me?
I do!
🤦🏻♂️
I am.
One of THE BEST innovators in music period.
Go to the scene on Headbangers Ball when Ricky Rachman asks him about industrial rock it's cool what he said! 😂
Ministry will live forever

Uncle Al is looking and sounding good!
Filthpig-great record 👍
My favorite band of all time

Same! Since getting the black cassette of Psalm 69 in junior high school....never looked back 🤘

Just caught them at the Cherokee Casino in N.C. and they still rocked like they did in the 90s
Filth Pig blew me away. I was obsessed with it all of 1996.
Love you Uncle AL !
My go to for rocking the fuck out!
Mind is a fire album so is land
Sphinctour was my favorite album. "Just One Fix" was the song that did it for me.
Just one fix is on Psalm 69 album
You gotta love Ministry-
they knocked it out of the park at the hard rock orlando saturday night. thank you
I ❤ Ministry. Huge fan #90's. #psalm 69
Love ministry. Every album is basically flawless
🫠
I'm hooked!
Still listen to Uncle Al all the time
This is exactly why I love Ministry, and had the chance to express that to Al when I met
Him, every record and every song is different than the other!
Saw him live last year. Amazing
Jesus built my Hotrod has gotten me many speeding tickets. I'm sure it'll get me many more. Long live Uncle Al.

I saw them 7/91

I lost my "Cleanse Fold and Manipulate"
In the Pit.

Id always run into Al back in the day ,
Cheers 🍻

Uncle Al gave the best that he could at that time. The energy was killer as soon as it started till it ended

living rock god, he actually seems healthier too
Al you looking good! Have you given up alcohol? Hope so. God bless
Jourgensen is genius.
I love Ministry but imo everything after Animositisomina is very samey. Filth Pig is what got me into them and still my favorite Ministry album.
Everything after Rio Grande Blood has been pretty mid to bad. At the albums that great truly are great.
I guess that’s true! I never thought of it that way. Many great bands are that way though.
I miss the synthpop ministry 😢
Spoken like a true artist, the propeper ones never do the same thing twice, I mean look at Neil Young, Bob Dylan, ect...
The sad side of this story is everyone wanted and expected psalm 70.
Rio Grande Blood blows away Psalm 69

What about us !!!!!! 🤘
looks like he's been having laser on forehead tattoo? The band is sounding amazing these days.
I MISS REVCO
Uncle Al still with that Midwest accent. Sounds like Rick Nielsen.
He's cuban
Filth Pig is my personal favorite

CUBAN "B!"
Psalm 69 is their best shit
I remember when filth pig came out and people are like did alien gets sober
Man I bet he spent hundreds of dollars to get his hair straightened. Good job uncle Al

A couple albums do sound alike ngl not bad thing just saying

Filthy Pig great album
he has hair??
Nice wig 😂😂😂
FREE FREE PALESTINE!!!!
Why his eyes look 70 and cheeks look 30
G.A.C?😂
What’s on his forehead with all that money that he has? I’m sure he can find a good tattoo artist.????
The antifa band, thats when they lost me.
That's when they lost me too. At least Al looks a helluva lot better without the piercings and the dreads.
Ministry has always been antifa
Ministry has always been Antifa

Antifa is the name of the song, not Bands name!!😂😂😂
Commie
Trusting any man with a forehead tattoo is crazy
It's fine doing something different but try to maintain a ear when something sounds like shit example being the last two ministry albums.
It's "an ear"..dumass
So all the crappy looking studs in his face are gone?
I think these guys started to suck. They needed to quit while they were ahead.
Nothing worse than an old man still trying to be edgy. Have you heard this antifa song? Hahahaha clueless
No I have not but he’s always been a little fruity
