- In this age of empires 4 casted game we see the aoe4 english vs the aoe4 ottomans. An interesting strategy develops in this game, once I haven't seen before but I suspect will see again!

im the ottoman player guys , i ended up facing him again in the next game and was able to barely stop it ... i decided to not go 2 TC and invest resources into military instead . Still with that being said he was able to take 2 of my landmarks and i stopped him on the third one and was able to push back . This build is very effective even in higher ladder games . You might get some dirty words from your opponent after the game but its a great way to climb . 😂 Even with scouting it , it's very hard to stop when 25 villagers are building the landmark .
did u win after stopping him on the 3rd one, also, how about building the 3rd landmark much further away?
Not to mention the only reason you managed to stop it the second time it seems is because you were expecting it, this strategy is nuts lol.
@@raymondwah yes i did , i was able to push back because he had no army and i ended up building my third landmark further away .

Easy to prevent. Just early D aggression. Force them to invest in units. And keep scouting.
And that deer patch denied.
But how with Ottomans? Spears won't really work?
Very hard to prevent especially when its so early in the game ... might be able to kill a few villagers before the landmark goes up but the white tower is super strong now , especially with it under your TC .
Always be scouting :)
I always forget to scout but will make sure to keep an eye out for this rush on ladder lol

Lol I somewhat agree with you, but as long as there is a way to stop it I feel it's okay, trouble is, is there a way to stop it? 😲 I guess it's the same category as the Barbican rush too. Just wondering how this is stopped 🤦
@@FarmManOfficial well.... it's a gray area here because technically you could scout it out but you would have to be constantly checking up on your scouts pov in an abnormal way. You could win a golf game vs your buddies if you cough loudly just before he hits the ball every time. Technically you're just doing a natural response to an itchy throat. You could anticipate the cough after the 2nd or third time your buddy does it and you'd be mentally prepared but it's really just bad sportsmanship imo.
Fair points. I've not faced the strat, but tbh even if I was able to scout it... How to even stop it? 😂 Maybe vill fight I guess 🤷

misleading title when this is not a guide but just observing a game using that strat..
Apologies that you felt misled there, not my intention in the slightest especially as I have a microphone on the top right of all my casted game thumbnails which is consistent and all my build orders have build orders written on the thumbnails and titles.
I suspect maybe it's the first time you've been on my channel if you haven't noticed that, and that's important as I want to appeal to new viewers too!
I'll have a think to see how I can make it more apparent that this is a casted game and not a tutorial without having to make it a long boring title.

I don't think its a guide since it got no words mention anything about a guide or a build order in the title. It just says strat. His guides usually contain a guide/build order in the title.
It's obviously not a guide as it has the English Vs ottoman flags in the thumbnail and it doesn't say guide/build order either... Anyway great cast farm man!
Fastest castling with no units hardly needs a guide though, and if for some reason you don't know how to (like you just started playing the game and didn't think for yourself on how to do it) there are tons of fast castling guides. For most civilization fast castling requires ignoring wood (except for housing needs) and units and not accelerating feudal (1-2 builders) to keep more villagers gathering (with some exceptions like HRE chapel). He showed you that going deer gives a better timing. That is all that was needed.
Also notice that English are one of the 5 civs that start with 50 extra wood (so 200 instead of 150).
Maybe you wanted him to hold you hand and tell you how to micro villagers and how to use TC rally points?
