Nice build. I'm just wondering as you don't get/mention any eco upgrades at all. Wheelbarrow, broadaxe etc.
And with 5 on gold you can get knights but can't afford them. When would you look to add these in? Thanks in advance!

I'm trying out this build order and I must confess I find it to be tricky.
Lots of places with the potential for me to forget or miss time, But as I practise.. Well when I do it right it's very strong. Very lean.
I end up with a smaller float then usual, After a number of practise games I'm mostly having trouble keeping track of everything as I get into the castle age but hey "continual improvement".
I'm confident I'll get there.
More advanced build. If you want a simple build for French go 8 food, 4 gold, 2 wood, then rally back to food. Not as efficient but easier to follow until you want to step it up.
@@thegorn Thankyou, I did end up mastering the advanced version in the vid and am crushing it now.
But simplified versions are great to show very new players and Im quite active in the aoe discord. So ill keep this example in mind.
Must say, I really like your build order guides the most out of the ones on yt.
Would going into 2 knights instead of one better, if you can handle microing 2knights? Or do you lose to much time on second tc for it to be worth?
You certaintly can. My number 1 advice when following build orders, is to use them as a guide, and then don't hardstick to them if the game requires you to play differently! :)

New player here! should I auto micro the villigers on console? if yes, which one?
Is there a bug currently, that random AI civ is only HRE? Tested some BOs for a couple of days only getting HRE AI. Now I see Valdemar also got HRE xD

How do I effectively gather the pocket resources?
I’d go mil and tower ussally depending weather you have map control or not but I’d recommend an outpost or town center
Does anyone know if you were to convert guildhall to vils how many it gives you?
A villager gathers with approx. 40 Res per min. For Guild Hall, resource income starts 20 Res every 20 seconds (1,5 vill). After every min, the res/20s increase by 20 up to 200/20s, which is equivalent to 600/min (15 vills)
@@Valdemar1902 Thank you for replying to me!! I really enjoy your videos and I think you make terrific learning content. It's hard to think about these types of landmarks in terms of vil numbers and this one scaling makes it even more complicated. Really an interesting value prop for it.
Where should I rally two TC to?
E.g. 1TC to food, 1TC to wood

Is this a build that shouldn't be used against civilizations that can attack powerfully in the early stages?
This build will work very good against defensive civs where you scout stone gathering like Rus, Chinese, Abbasid and English

@@TheBibleBrunchyeah, but going against 5 out of 10 players being English is historically accurate, in a way. At one point you could fight the Brits just about anywhere in the world
