I came across the TL-200T for $200 to recondition a dead acid battery on my channel. It revived the battery and in my opinion i got a free welder out of it, since i avoided buying a $200 battery. The 200T comes with the tig torch, and it has an automatic gas switch/valve and its a high frequency start.
Bro I got the exact same car!!! Same color and everything. Just built a 5.3 bored to 5.7. I'm building the transmission now its a th350 with a jegs 2700 stall. Built my own turbo kit with a ebay gt45 turbo.
I'm doing my first it's just a repair and replace though not a swap in the 2005 Silverado I did put a cam in there so I guess I'm going to have to invest into tuner products next. #operationls
I used the factory fuse box wire from the C1 block wire A9 which is pink. Hook that wire to the 12v distributor wire. C1 block B11 wire which is red is constant power. I looped that to the screw to battery on fuse box. C3 block F1 is power to fuel pump. Its a grey wire. That's all the wires I used.
I used motor mount adapter plates from amazon, jegs double hump transmission crossmember, s10 shorty headers off ebay, got the original drive shaft cut, external fuel pump from Amazon. Since then, I changed a couple things.
doesn't look like it. get a cowl hood or remove the "vortec" cover that's on the top. when you have just the intake below, cut off unnecessary brackets on top of the intake. this is called "shaving". also, you may have to cut parts of the hood structure above, without cutting all the way through the hood of course. it may be possible to fit a stock hood then
Honestly it depends on the type of mounts you use. I find it better to use the Dirty Dingo style engine mounts. This style allows you to not only set the forward and back positions but also the height. Clam shell style mounts often restrict hood clearences when using truck style intakes. But as they say there is more than one way to skin a 🐈.
A lot of blood sweat and tears but pay off is when you hear it purr like a kitten👍
Runs great 👍 .. You gave me the motivation to LS swap my 94 firebird 😊. Time to round up some parts.

@@ItsyaboyR.B thanks I'll be back once I come out the Machine shop😂😂
So what did u use, such as the engine mounts, transmission mounts, drive line ,headers ?

Is the fuel pump noisy?
Not really. My exhaust is dumped under the car by the rearend, so you really can't hear it..
What year motor is that and is it the stock transmission?
2002 Tahoe 5.3 with 4L60e transmission
Is this the truck intake? Will the good close?

@@trashbandit2449 I just got my hood on and it does close fine. I cut off a couple taller nubs off of the intake just Incase though.
