The plastic hand and wrist used to show the Nomos will haunt my nightmares.
I have that Longines moon phase and I love it, I think it's a frequently overlooked watch.
Seamaster and speedmaster are perfect for any wrist
Agreed!
You guys have endless chemistry 🤣
One of my favorite video formats from this channel.
“Lost in Space, Matt LaBlanc”…😂
I’ve got the Seiko 5KX midi, I put it on a dive strap, absolutely love it, such a fantastic watch and still has day date complication which i really like, perfect size watch, I’m hoping they bring it out in a blue dial with Pepsi bezel.
Tom's candid shots are amazing
You have covered all bases with this, across all price ranges, great review.
I miss the microphones and the talking hands videos!
Yes, that was really unique!
Tom did a great job picking out these watches.
I heard Tim Mosso called you out yesterday? Meet him at the playground at high noon!
😂
The Talking Hands can also be fists
Tiny Tim and his merry band of superchat superheroes to save the day with zodiac chitters
For real?
What did he say ?
he literally just said he likes the dude and since he’s never met him despite reaching out, would like him to say “hi.”…lmao
Agree about the Omega Seamaster 300M perfect description of it.
I tried the Breitling and it is glorious.
That Accurist looks great! First I'm hearing of them.
Junghans (Max Bill) could be included as well for a timeless dresswatch alternative that won’t break the bank.
The black dial automatic, in particular, looks like nothing else on the market. It's in the "constantly looking at it" category.
the 90s omega seamasters are the best divers ever made
Sexiest lines of any Omegas. I’d pay allot for a new old stock with box and papers in steel and titanium.
Edit - R.I.P. to the 90’s. God we miss you.
I bought a Goldeneye brand new and will NEVER part with it .
@@jamesrobert4106 Congratulations. What year is it??? Take beautiful care of it but never part with it as you’ve said. Only gift it or inherit it family/loved ones that promises to do the same.
No Grand Seiko in the list!
Santos. Extremely universal. Man, woman, dog… medium santos it is
Awesome recommendations
Overall, great choices! 42mm and thick SMP might be too big for many...BB58 or 54 is a better choice....even if it may seems redundant with BB39. If you want a "universal" Omega...AquaTerra!
Oceanus S100 and Patek Aquanaut are 2 more possible additions at opposite ends of the price spectrum.
I love my smp but my first omega was the PO gmt 43.5 and it was both too large and too thick. Sold it and got the smp and it feels tiny compared to the PO. The smp really doesn't feel too thick on the wrist at all, but the planet ocean at like 15.5mm was. I love it, daily watch on a nato most of the time and it's held up really well. Less than 1 spd on wrist too. I don't want to wear it every day (it certainly wasn't cheap) but I can't take it off.
Tudor makes ugly watches.
@@TheWatcher60401surely you gest.
The black dial el primero is one of the most beautiful watches ive seen. Its just so good.
Reverso is DEFINITELY not for everyone - you need to have certain quality to wear it, ie. dressed in a certain way, well-groomed, work in certain environment etc. Imagine Arnold or Rock wearing a reverso lol.
I used to wear my normal smart casual outfits with my Reverso, but once I went with a Turtle neck and an overcoat, I could feel the watch singing.
Thats just it - its a good dress watch and a good casual watch and a good work watch.
I dunno... I think if we saw Beetlejuice...in a stained tshirt...holding some plastic bags of random...and wearing a Reverso... it'd be pretty exquisite, you guys!
Anyone with a nice suit can rock a reverso
Thank you, some of these watches are in my collection.
Hi I think you Oris Aquis or the big crown pointer date should had been added to the list
Should have had the datejust too! The black bay 36 and OP 41 are too similar, but excellent choices nonetheless
Farer Aquamatic Freshwater a great contrast to my BB58 for the summer.Their Classic Chronograph with Dubois Depraz module also in the collection.
I love what Farer is doing. Each of their offerings is unique and makes excellent use of color. I have the BB58 as well and had the same thought. What a fun summer watch the Aquamatic Freshwater is and what a great contrast to the 58.
Love the freshwater! Was very close to buying one this summer
@@ajmarion Doubt you would be disappointed.I prefer the more subtle design to CW.Small logo and print, waves on the dial and great lume but not in your face.
"Oyster Perpetual Clown Balls"? LOVE IT!!
You guys are freaking hilarious as always. Silicium joke killed me.
How watches insult each other:
3:06 “Door frame lover!” 🫢
5:35 “You’ve got flat lugs!” 😲
Why did they make the small seconds on the new reverso circular??? 😭 looked so much better before, mirroring the case.
11:28 you can't say spoilers AFTER you give a spoiler. That's not how spoiler alerts work. 😢😅
i like that ALS set their hands at almost 2 rather than 10ish
How much is the fp journe? Would i be able to order one from the AD?
If you have to ask ... you know know how that goes. ;¬D and No. ;¬( lol
Really liked the Breitling at first sight, that green colour is great, but those sub dials cutting into the numerals ! It is criminal in my mind to have partial numerals with sub dials overlapping. Design failure if you ask me .Lazy. If you can't show the complete number remove it. Otherwise I might have had this one. You were correct to leave the OP to the end, not the version you chose but I recommend the Tuxedo version with the 'bullseye' dial. 116220 Stunner.
Lol the citizen strap, hilarious commentary. Watch does look great 🔥
I was really impressed recently when for the first time I saw a (non diver) blue dial black bay (on rubber) on someone. It just looked really classy without trying too hard.
SEAMASTER is a great watch 🔥🔥🔥
Did they say Joey from Friends goes in Universe in some movie with Hamilton Murph?
😂😂😂😂
The Hamilton Khaki Murph is probably the most versatile watch on the list.
Damn those Garrick watches are stunning!
Excusez moi pour mon commentaire un peu hors sujet, mais pourquoi ne parlez vous jamais de l'omega bullhead ?
C'est une montre spectaculaire.
Merci.
Seiko Alpinist 1954 Reimagined, creme dial. I just stare at my watch all day it's so beautiful.
Tissot has a PR 100 Model, super economical but looks fantastic! Would be a perfect 21st on the list😉
I agree! That is easily the the only watch a man would ever need. Some say boring, but I say understated and underrated.
@@kresimirpleic I agree!
I have a Tissot Automatics III with an ETA movement and it would be fitting in this list too! Great daily watch.
Beautiful!
@@KevinRibelMusic
I have a 1999 PR 100. It came to mind while watching this video!!!
I actually just picked up a BB 41mm from you guys yesterday. Now comes the waiting game of... international shipping.
Oris Aquis is a real looker, and won’t break the bank, though it may dent it a little.
Some nice watches in the video, very different, but for me it has to be the Omega Seamaster !
The Omega SMP wave dial is a beauty, the electric blue dial is the penultimate of design execution
Agreed 👍
Nice choices but Johny Ive's first decent watch when he started his gig at Apple in '92- Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, so about as far from a reverso that is possable. But I'm sure you knew that.
Really good top 100 guys ! I just feel a little sad about one of my favorite brand Oris.. the Big Crown deserved some love
“I’m going to up the budget a bit to all of it” got me😅
But no price given - if you have to ask ... you know how it goes ;¬D
I can’t wait until Omega shrinks the SMP 300… I’ll finally buy one 😮🎉
I love the SEAMASTER
The Baltic blue and orange GMT could get you mistaken for a Mets fan if you live in New York. The Mets are a local cricket team.
Please do Davis Elvin next🙏
Tom is on fire today!!! 🔥🔥🔥😂
I'm not so sure about the Seamaster looking good universally.
I tried it on my 7.5-inch wrist, and it looked and felt like a big lump. It's personal preference as well, but it looked really silly.
Brilliant Watches....
Not sure if everyone would agree, but I think the Sinn 556i, albeit slightly overpriced right now, can fit a lot if not majority of the wrists out there with its simplistic but surprisingly eye-catching design (due to the deep gloss black dial).
Another one I’d like to mention is the Longines Spirit 39mm. Perfect size, but only nitpick is that not everyone likes the five stars. Other than that, everything else about its design is classic.
Very underrated, I love Sinn, have owned several. Another dark horse is Alpina. Not high end, but excellent bang for buck. I would say folks auditioning Tudor, Seiko, Oris, Longines etc would do well to have a look at both Sinn and Alpina.
Trouble with the Zulu time is the male end links - adds 4/5mm to lug to lug making it unwearable on the bracelet guys with under 7 inch wrist 😢
My pick is Orient Bambino version 2 with roman letters. It looks good on everyone.
I think we have to say the 35mm PRX, Santos de Cartier and the G Shock square
Call it as dry as you want, as unoriginal as you want, but you literally can never go wrong with the Submariner. That's the whole point of the watch. You'll never win points for originality, but you can slap this thing on a turd and it'll look sharp. There is no better icon in the watch industry, whether you love to hear it or not.
I think most people recognize the Submariner as an OG watch. It's an awesome watch most would love to wear, but not at current prices.
My G-Shock DW-5040PG-1 looks great on me😄
No need to be frank we appreciate you as Andrew hahaha😅😂
I like Tudor, but the stigma of it being a “poor man’s Rolex” puts me off.
Tudor is a poor man’s Rolex 😂😂😂😂😂
I like how the citizen has an eleven and then a sans serif eleven. Six ones!
Zenith looks amazing. Just priced a little too high imo.
Wear what you love😊
Has anyone ever considered the possibility that Tom may be an AI? That maybe Tom is short for Automaton? 😮
Only thing I ever liked about Breitling (when i was younger) was their name on the strap. Now for some reason they go into the Tag Heuer camp.
At first, I really didn't like Tom, but he has grown on me. Good job guys
I’d say the NITE MX10 PVD coated stainless steel field watch on the rubber strap, if it looks good on the SAS then it looks good on anyone.
“Even you” hahahaha
Completely screwed up the Interstellar reference with the Murph. Matt Le Blanc?
Please give some credit to Norqain! These watches get zero mentions on UA-cam but they are amazingly finished and great looking! Break the chain Watchfinder!
The Casio looks like something Goldmember from Austin Powers movies would wear.
Tom looks like Dr Evil from same film 👍
HANDSOME TOM!
The farer looks like a seiko 5kx homage 😂
is their such a thing as a anyone wrist?!
38mm is the perfect size for a small to medium wrist
Strongly disagree that 39-40mm looks great on anyone. Much less anything above that.
I love your videos and the amazing watches you feature. However I must disagree with the "universality" of many of these models. The question isn't whether they look good on just any wrist; is if any wrist looks good on that watch!
Tom, I’m going to up the budget slightly to all of it, oh 😂😂
TAG Heuer Monaco calibre 11
Grand Seiko?
Amazing watches but case designs will probable not be so universally liked.
2:01 you definitely meant moon FACE there
Sweet voice..👌
Hey Tom: The Original Murph was Matthew Mconaughey (Interstellar) and not Matt LeBlanc (Lost in Space)
Excellent choices, but how about these three Seiko's?:
- Presage 'Cocktail Time' SSA343J1
- Prospex 'Speedtimer' SSC813J1
- Prospex 'King Samurai' SRPE35K1
I don’t follow much of FPJ but wow that one is stunning.
Guys, what about Oris?
The watches you selected are great but it really depends on the person. A Cartier for example, would not look good on a sumo wrestler. Far too delicate and small a watch. In my opinion, you have to look at the person, the way they dress, and then apply the appropriate watch.
If there ever was a 25-minute commercial, this is it.
How about Traska freediver.
The sense of humour though. It makes one think that you're old enough to have known Monty Python?
I love watchbox and I love watchfinder, hearing that Tim watches you and has reached out makes me hope for a collab:')
Hidden Game of Thrones references a new theme in every video?
Tom's silicium joke is probably the funniest thing I've ever heard
so we just ignore the fact that Nomos uses the pleb 4'o clock roman numerals rite?
No grand Seiko on the list? Ugf.
i don’t agree with the omega my wrist is 7 inches😂
The Seamaster would definitely be a winner but for the ugly and useless wart at 10:00
