Thank you Andrew for being you. I just won £30 with this video, as my poor uneducated friend bet me I could not name two watches on this list. I took that bet quicker than a Rolex dealer laughing at me as I walk into a store hoping to buy a watch. The words twelve and bel canto left my lips so fast I was hardly aware it happened. Well, I guess I am not the only one to have an anesthesiologist rocking a Rolex. I was getting ready to be put under for an implant and looked over and quipped "A Milgauss the sleeper Rolex." To my amazement, this prompted an almost ten-minute discussion about how he came to have that specific watch and what if any watches I had. This really put my mind at ease as I went lights out for the next five hours. One day, I'd love to add one to my collection.
I love that H. Moser & Cie Streamliner and have wanted one ever since it was first announced. Moser basically took my dream watch (their Streamliner) and then read my mind on how they could make it even better (make it a bit smaller/thinner, include a micro-rotor, and give it a beautiful fumé Grand Feu enamel dial). Now if only I had ~$34k to spend on it...

Some absolutely amazing watches in this video (showing my age there.) Have to be honest, they really don't do it for me... And it's mostly in the name. Slightly irrational perhaps, but if the brand is going to be someone's name, I want that name to have relevance beyond the founders thinking it was marketable... And let's face it, when you're buying automatic over quartz and buying design and finishing you like, it's going to be more than just a strictly utilitarian decision. Yes, they're great watches for the prices they charge and there's absolutely no way I could ever knock someone for choosing one... I just wouldn't for myself.

Surprised the seiko skx gmt didn't get a look in at sub 500. my cw 12ti in blue is a stunning watch my 1st none dive style watch.
Great video mate!!
Two Christopher Wards? Serious question here: up until a year ago or so, I had never even heard of this brand. Is it popular only in the UK?
Nope. Seen a few on the west coast of the US
I nearly bought a CW seven or so years ago. They had COSC certified divers, but I found a local deal on the Seiko Turtle mentioned in this video!
Have to be honest, they really don't do it for me...
The Casio MQ24 is a very good watch. I love it so much I bought one for my son too.
Great review but at $500 the Seiko turtle must have a sapphire crystal but that goes for every watch at $500 but Seiko might be the most guilty at least with any brand you would want.
OMG, this was hillarious! I can barely get to the level of 1000 USD, but last 2 ones are beyond reality! Thanks for such a entertaining video!
