You may have noticed Eugene's bass tapping, but have you noticed that often when he does that he's playing melody and Roman is strumming rhythm on the guitar?
Otep inspired Tatiana to learn how to growl, actually. 😊 I was supposed to see Deftones, Gojira, and Poppy too. So far, that’s the only show I have tickets to that hasn’t been cancelled/postponed.
Was gonna see Jinjer in May, but so far only postponed. Hopefully doesn't get cancelled, but I think they are playing in Georgia soon so that's a good sign.
I've seen this music video so many times and I never caught Soilwork. I also listened to them and In Flames late in high school. Killswitch Engage and Stick To Your Guns really caught my attention to these genres and went from there. Speaking of tickets. I had tickets to Killswitch, Light The Torch and August Burns Red In April. It supposed to be postponed so hopefully they reschedule soon. JINJER was supposed to be on their third US tour right now, that will happen next year as they just announced that they will finish their south american tour later this year.
Who Is Gonna Be the One Live Words of Wisdom (Chorus that kicks you in the nuts) Ape (the end of this song is powerful as ass) Outlander... The ones you've done so far are more of their more mature songs, as you've said (Vlad their new drummer has taken them to a whole new level). The ones I listed will slap you in the face more.
I’m curious what you think about the bass being more of the focus than guitars? I heard that the bassist Eugene was heavily influenced by Mudvayne’s bassist. When you think about that and listen to their music you can’t help but notice that. I think most of thier songs had that slow/melodic part to emphasize vocals and bass. I’d love to see your reaction to Silent Planet - Trilogy and Polaris - Landmine or Hypermania. FYI (I love the new Polaris album The Death of Me and I love all the songs but these are just the videos from that album)
I think it helps the bass that they're a quartet and don't have 2 guitarists. Like a lot of bands, the bass can get completely lost with 2 guitars. With Jinjer, the bass is accentuated and I love it.
Are you familiar with DevilDriver? If not, I'd check out Clouds Over California, I Could Care Less and Digging Up The Corpses. These are my personal favorites from them.
A couple bands I like but no one else seemed to (or never heard of), along with a few track suggestions. Ultraspank - "Wrapped," "Click," and "Crumble" Simon Says - "Dead Weight," "Syphon," and "Tourniquet." Neither band is all that heavy, but I think they don't get the love they deservei. Because of that, along with the fact that the songs are around 20 years old, you'll probably only find album art or lyric videos.
Can you do a Otep week like you did with Jinjer week? not a lot of people react to Otep they have too many good songs to still stay unrecognized for years :(
Good Jinjer week be fan since 2016 lam music fan I've been pounding the skins since I was 9 I just turned 60 but it's all rock and roll to me so how about Kreator Live in Chile 2018 Mars Manta/Phantom AntiChrist ! Don't know if you've had the chance to see the 10 yr old girl YoKono she play's the drums to like Rage / Zeppelin/ Queen you should check her out she's really quite talented just a suggestion Jimbo60AusTx
You could do a week dedicated to Dir en Grey. Always better life performances than studio ones: "Revelation of mankind", "Tousei", "Rinkaku", "Vinushka", "Macabre"(tabula rasa)
Since you are guitarist... I would like to suggest you to react Wintersun - Sons of Winter and Stars live rehearsal at Sonic Pump studio. It's epic... with great guitar work. Please and peace 🙏🏼😎✌🏼
Could you please maybe react to Acid Bath? Dax Riggs has one of the most underrated voices, in my humble opinion 😊 His voice and their music are diverse, but since you like heavier stuff I would say listen to “Tranquilized” since it’s heavier all the way through, even though I think that “Graveflower” shows their lyricism and the versatility of his voice better. So I suppose you can pick. I love this band and have since I was a teenager, but I promise not to hate on you if it’s not your thing :) No one has reacted to them as far as I can tell and you seem like someone who would at least give them a chance. Thanks for the Jinjer week! 🖤 Tranquilized: ua-cam.com/video/QkCnLeEVY8A/v-deo.html Graveflower: ua-cam.com/video/QB_rNGlsroM/v-deo.html
Hope you get to Versailles - Faith and decision ( m.ua-cam.com/video/AdhfE6ITfoQ/v-deo.html ) before the band gets lost in the comments section, as it so often does.
If you still like the old school metal check out Detente. Holy War is a better song. I wouldn’t recommend a reaction because most wouldn’t care but they are a good 80’s Metal Band fronted by a female screamer.
Really? you talk like you are on the same level as these musicians. Well great, let us see your band. Obviously you are not worthy to be in the "Jinjer Army". So sad. I really hope you are great. I look forward to listening to your music. :)
Obviously, he is a "victim" of the Dunning-Kruger effect. Google it. This youtuber is located at the “Peak of Mount Stupid” (or near it). This "peak" is a condition of illusory superiority. In the field of social psychology, illusory superiority is a condition of cognitive bias wherein a person overestimates their own qualities and abilities, in relation to the same qualities and abilities of other people. In other words, he is not very smart or talented, but he does not know it and thinks that his abilities and knowledge are much higher than they really are. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is easily my favorite Jinjer song. They ride the prog path perfect in this song.
You may have noticed Eugene's bass tapping, but have you noticed that often when he does that he's playing melody and Roman is strumming rhythm on the guitar?
JINJER - Who Is Gonna Be The One (Live)
Words of wisdom, the same concert
Otep inspired Tatiana to learn how to growl, actually. 😊 I was supposed to see Deftones, Gojira, and Poppy too. So far, that’s the only show I have tickets to that hasn’t been cancelled/postponed.
Which location? The Portland, OR date hasn't been cancelled, but our governor makes it sound like concerts are completely out of the question 😢😢😢

KSE! They were a HUGE influence for me. Alive or Just Breathing is in my top 10 lol
You might like Heartless Scat by Ninjen Isu - a lot of guitar work in that one.
Unleash the Archers "Awakenings" they are power metal but the musicianship is ridiculous.
Probably my favorite song by them.
You have to react to Jinjer - Who is Gonna Be The One! 😁
Who Is Gonna Be the One Live
Words of Wisdom (Chorus that kicks you in the nuts)
Ape (the end of this song is powerful as ass)
Outlander... The ones you've done so far are more of their more mature songs, as you've said (Vlad their new drummer has taken them to a whole new level). The ones I listed will slap you in the face more.
Pit of Consciousness or Retrospection both new and pretty heavy.
King Diamond- Sleepless Nights live at the Filmore
Can we have a bonus round and react to “outlander” from thier first LP?
Week ain't over yet! :D
Jeffrey Fisher good to see you. Yes your right. The week is not over yet. You can never get enough of Jinjer!
Sure, why not! It'll be up this weekend 😋
Timotato Reacts awesome! Thank you.
@@TimotatoReacts do the failure.color vid, concert footage over studio cut
I keep thinking I see Ola Englund in the mosh pit.....

I'll check it out, thank you! 🤘
yea love soilwork n in flames
Can you do a Otep week like you did with Jinjer week? not a lot of people react to Otep they have too many good songs to still stay unrecognized for years :(
Not a bad idea. I actually have little Otep experience, which I hate to admit lol
Add to the boring reactions

What do you think about Estas Tonne. I recommend "The Song of Golden Dragon".
You could do a week dedicated to Dir en Grey. Always better life performances than studio ones: "Revelation of mankind", "Tousei", "Rinkaku", "Vinushka", "Macabre"(tabula rasa)
I find your lack of enthusiasm in the Jinjer... disturbing. (Vader voice)
Another good one is Amorphis - The Bee official lyric video... Check that out. 🤘🏼
🤘🤘❤️🤘🤘 Sweet!!! I Love this song!!!!! 😁🤘🤘
Check out Jinjer-Ape
Since you are guitarist... I would like to suggest you to react Wintersun - Sons of Winter and Stars live rehearsal at Sonic Pump studio. It's epic... with great guitar work. Please and peace 🙏🏼😎✌🏼
Man, what your favorite band? Just for checking...
Awakening by unleash the archers

Officially added to the list! Much appreciated! 🤘
Thanks!!

Who noticed that between 20 and 21 seconds of the original video, Tatiana turns into a ghost? 😉
No one. I've had a look. Can't see it.
APE is a mindblower...
If you still like the old school metal check out Detente. Holy War is a better song. I wouldn’t recommend a reaction because most wouldn’t care but they are a good 80’s Metal Band fronted by a female screamer.
Гитарист? Ну да, конечно.
Metal Ned Flanders...no?
