@@donjonmastergaming5911 I'm not waiting on UA or books for the fix, I run a homebrew campaign and allow my players to use it as a bonus action. The problem with allowing it to replace one attack is that often just hitting with your weapon is still way more effective than using the breath weapon.

I've never been exposed to D&D at all aside from small bits from tv/movie. Happened upon this video from another video where Joe got a new D&D table. This was pretty awesome! It was like watching a movie with a choose your own adventure twist to it. And the dungeon master was phenomenal. Bravo!

As a fan of Dwarves, I kindly remind anyone about Dwarven Resilience: Advantage on saving throws against Poison, and Resistance against Poison damage. Mind you, it was more fun that he fail the saving throw (but taking a bit less damage for the Dwarf could have helped).

Spoiler free answer: Archon shows up in Campaign 1 and he does some "shady business" in game. He is Evil after all,, but all in all they are still friends. (Matt knew what he had planned to do. So it wasn't THAT big of a deal. But still.. it was pretty crazy)

I always hear how difficult it is to get someone to play a Cleric. I absolutely love playing Clerics. Have played them since I was a kid. Loved being that person that everyone loved to have in their party...
I’m not even 5:00 in and I’m tearing up at Taliesin saying out Perci’s name, as well as Marisha with her Keyleth smile on. Oh and then there’s Joe and his voice dropping for Arkhan. Oh the nostalgia. I’m looking forward to this.
Joe hardly played, yet his character was so OP for this mission. I'm new to D&D, sort of. I played as a kid, very little. Now, I want to learn as much as possible to play and DM. This was great!!!

When Jaffe rolled the 2 20's he should have gotten a much bigger part to act. He said he'd never done that and he's been playing forever. I would have made something miraculous happen. Doesn't have to kill the monster but I'd give him a scene that fit his achievement. Not just you shoot the monster twice. He was so happy and for an emo he doesn't seem to be much into trying to be happy
Jesus.. Joe would be a nightmare for a control freak DM. He knows his shit, he built a very capable character and there is very little hesitation in his play style. A weak DM would simply lose control of the table. A control freak DM would kill or cripple his character somehow.... but a good experienced DM that wants to create a fun challenging experience would love him. New players can learn from this guy... ive played dungeons and dragons since 1979. He is one of the best players I've ever seen.
I mean, he has built a simple paladin. The DM built the oneshot around his character- there were undead foes that he could control, no flying enemies that he was unable to reach (I have the feeling the Manticore wouldn't have fought them while flying). How a DM could lose control of the table or become frustrated over a DMG subclass is beyond me

They make it look awesome. The knowledge of their own characters' ability really adds to the experience

Clerics are awesome. Twilight or Peace Domain Clerics can downright break the game in certain settings.

I DM'd a 3.0/3.5 campaign for 9 years. Lots of work and compromising but great memories. Never got to finish but we were so damn close.
