- Dungeon Master Jon Ciccolini and Host Bill Rehor from Beadle & Grimm's leads B. Dave Watlers, Deborah Ann Woll, Seth Green, and Xander Jeanneret on a wild journey as they play Faster, Purple Worm! Kill! Kill! Can our heroes improvise their way through a doomed campaign to hunt a massive monster with a challenge rating the size of the moon? This session is unlikely to roll critical hits but sure to score critical laughs (unfortunately the monster has maxed comedy resistance).

Deborah Ann Woll might be the most charming woman in the whole world.
Search for her series from 2018, Relics and Rarities with Deborah Ann Woll.
@@RecklessFables Yes, thanks. I’ve seen it. And loved it.
I 100% whole heartedly agree
She is ultra adorable but someone tell her character not to suffer a fall or get hit by a fireball armed with all of that poop
She's incredibly beautiful, smart, and charming. Gotta love her.
Deborah going misty-eyed with joy talking about politicians viewing her scat collection is simultaneously hilarious and proof of her being a great actor. I loved this so much.
Deborah: what is this storm like?
DM: It's a shitstorm
Deborah: Huzzah!
I laughed so hard at this I snorted my drink
🤣🤣🤣🤣 my ribs are hurting from laughing soo much
Such a good group and difficult not to like Deborah. She's SO imaginative and throws herself into any part she plays
I had such a crush on Deborah in True Blood back in the day. She's adorable! I love the nerdiness!
I'm just gonna say it right here. If Seth Green dosent play Joker in the Mass Effect movie, I say we riot
This is why I'm grateful professionals do casting and not fans.
@@chand911 You know that Seth Green not only voices Joker in the games but they also based the character design on him.
@@chand911 Seth Green is literally Joker.
@chand911 homie, Joker is a copy-paste insert of Seth Green
This was the first episode of a dungeons and dragons match that I’ve ever seen and I am in love
its called a session not a match
@@Nexusofgeek cool. never played or watched dungeons and dragons before this. good to know i suppose.
Welcome! There is no going back now! There are TONS of content on YT worth checking out!
@@riverswater5688It’s been a few years and you may have already figured this out by now, if you weren’t discouraged, but it’s not a match because not all sessions are battle sessions. Sometimes the players are just solving a mystery or a puzzle. It’s not really a win/lose thing that a match implies.
This one is obviously a one-off which is why it was okay they got killed of. A DM would not generally be that viscous but they were quite likely clued in a bit. They had really low hit points. Anyway, it could have been explained in a nicer way originally.
G4TV, please ask Deborah Ann Woll if she would be willing to join the team for the game review portion of the show (together with Adam Sessler, especially since Morgan Webb is doing something else). She is such a talent, she plays D&D (she was great on Relics & Rarities and every other D&D session I've seen her in), and I'm sure she would get into the gaming if she isn't already.
I second this motion.
Dude that would be cool
She's great! Very funny
She's an amazing GM and seeing her do that more is my wish. What do I roll for that?
Omg, my man-crush (Seth), and my ultimate woman crush (Deborah) playing d&d together!!
This one-shot is so underrated. I love the story hooks Jon the DM is coming up with. The players are so fun and hilarious! Lowkey best G4 charity one-shot.
This was awesome. Really hope we can get a weekly show of some sort of D&D game with guests this good.
Okay, so I went to college with Dave, he ran my first D&D game. Also sat next to him in Jason’s dorm room watching Buffy (although DS9 was our jam). Now he’s sitting next to Seth Green, who was in Buffy.
This party of characters is hilarious.
LOVED THIS - but I know I'm not the only one who noticed they forgot to use the "Honor" beacon right? Seemed like they all died within a minute but the experience... was pure laughter and love.
Seth Green's character is SO suited to his face and he plays it very well!!!
That DM however... yiish
Deborah makes D&D feel much cooler. I’m hooked on her.
Its like watching relics and rarities again!
Here for Ms. Woll
Hearing Seth green fake laugh, I just got real Rocket Raccoon vibes.
Automatic like for Deborah Ann Woll
I love all of the people playing im so excited
love to see some of the Relics and Rarities gang together again
2
Omg, so much fun!
I know three of the players from something vampire related... A Scooby Doo gang werewolf, an LA Ventrue and Bon Temps loveliest vampire 😍!
Seth Green and Rob Paulson reading Star Wars brought me here.😂
Seth green cracked me up when he was asking the dwarf about sending their most accomplished warrior to be sacrificed😂😂
Deborah Ann Woll, I just..... I just love you.
Who else came here just because I saw Seth Green‘s name in the title? :). Miss that guy.
Idk, Deborah Ann Woll is such a jem.
P.S. I just saw his intro, and I'm now behind more Seth green dnd games.
Dude just watched the episode of My Name Is Earl with Seth Green in it
Great group, I enjoyed this so much. They really got into it! :)
I love Xander!! glad to see him in this :)
Great table. Please get together again!
I don’t think I could play with these guys as I’d be laughing constantly. Tae Bo ?
This was wildly entertaining.
Yet could have been so much better.
Am I the only one who kept fixating on Da-warf?
I checked the comments to see if I was the only one that was stuck on this.
Reminded me of my high school chem teacher who always said "un-no-one" instead of "unknown".
I can't unhear it now...
Reminds me of when Taliesen Jaffe consistently said stanima in a Vampire the Masquerade game.
Would the turd collected from an evil creature be evil? Or is it the alignment of the creature who had been eaten. Thus the turd of a Manticore who had eaten a paladin would be lawful good wouldn't it?
DAW's character being obsessed with feces might be the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Who comes up with the stuff? LOL
Oh my God, that is Seth Green.
I was not expecting a TPK😂
This is just amazing. Just… amazing
I rather believe the fair townsfolk would give their passing respects to
Dr. B'felda, with the endearing inscription: *"What a shitty way to go."*
OMG my name is Roderick, well, really close, and I would gladly be Seth's squire, one of my favorite actors.
Remember 2009 era G4, that was the best
Deborah Ann Woll is DEE-LICIOUS. 🥰
Not going to lie, I thought Seth was Brian W Foster in the thumbnail.
We need more marketing on these!!!!!
AWESOME!
I was so mad that P+ only had these over the weekend, thank you!!! Also @xanderiffic had the best pun.
What is that intro/outro song? It's amazing!
OMG Super fun playthrough - Stellar players - Mega-fun overall - Ty ty so much all 🤣
Deborah is incredibly beautiful.
The character she plays... poop doctor... tragic.
She is still perfectly beautiful
I love how the players took the TPK. It made the ending epic.
They were so much fun to watch. The DND regulars were amazing, as always. Seth Green should consider playing more often. He was definitely my favorite part of this table. The 1 hit-ko TPK was super disappointing however. The damage output was waaaaaay above their character levels. Time restraints caught up with them I suppose.
They were level 1. It was always intended to be a 1 hit tpk.
thanks for the spoiler, yay
Great Show guys...Bring back ELECTRIC PLAYGROUND!!! ;)
4:00, definitely getting some skeksis vibes from that character concept,
I think more people need to talk about seth green and chicken.
What was the song at the beginning of the video?
Love G4!!!
Unfortunately none of them touched the pole and said "honor" to cast Beacon of Hope as the dragon was approaching, which might of saved most or all of them.
They did try, it just wasnt picked up on by the gm in the midst of the action
Just in case that wasn't sarcasm:
Advantage on Wisdom saves wouldn't have helped; they already mostly made their saves against the fear effect.
Regaining max HP from healing (e.g. 8 instead of 1d8) wouldn't help either; they have to survive a hit for that, but Beacon of Hope doesn't reduce incoming damage.
(rules-as-written, Cornelius shouldn't have been cut in half; the 15 damage was less than twice his HP, so he should just have been at 0 HP, not killed outright by massive damage.
Unlike Ursus, who took 17 damage vs. his total of 7. Half-orc relentless endurance only works if you aren't killed outright.)
Why the weird extra at the table?
I'm really unsure. But, like something isn't right with the DM. He feels like he could have some issues or disabilities. I think the extra is there to spot him and jump in if necessary
I am very glad this was only an hour.
Much easier to digest.
I like this.
Nay.
I LOVE this.
The off camera laugh at 40:00 just made this
........Wasn't the first either :D
What is that song that the show opens with?
I wana see the revenge of roderick
I'll just say it: this session had amazing players, not so good DM and a random guy in the corner. Sadly, the guests were way better than the DM, and it really showed.
Agreed. The DM was awful, and the party carried the show
Deborah lookin' jacked.
Perhaps I've been binge watching Family Guy too much but every time I hear Seth Green here I just hear Chris Griffin . And I thought Brian Griffin was the closest to his voice actor !
The DM looks like Ben Stiller
I love how they keep checking their phones, it really adds to the immersion.
Have you ever played D&S before? They’re checking they’re checking their character sheets. It’s not like they up there
scrolling thru Instagram or something.
B. Dave WaTLers? You might want to fix the title lol.
They fixed the title, but it seems the description's still wrong too.
It's cool that they let the Dm get a few words in there now and then though.
As a DM, my best life is when the story is carrying the players to just play, and I only have to step in to represent the world or referee something. That is a great feeling.
@@poodlefluids it is...buy for a show it's weird
@@guille787 Perhaps to you? Worked perfectly well for a bunch of shows like AquInc C Team, various Chris Perkins/WoTC games, etc. The DM isn't the star.
@@poodlefluids Chris is Always in full control. No one interrupts him. He flows. This Dm was struggling at parts and basically needed an extra guy to help him out with his authority.
@@TheUpperbutt On the first watch through I will admit that I did think that this DM wasn't exactly maxed out on his CHA, but I didn't really notice the players running roughshod over him or anything. I did think that the "host" hiding by his side (and doing the intro without any lighting) was weird.
After your comments I watched through it again, paying more attention. If anything, I liked the DM a bit better the second time through. All parties knew it was a throwaway short one-shot with a guaranteed TPK, and I thought they all just seemed to be having fun.
At least 2 of the players are themselves accomplished DMs and the other two are both trained actors; nothing here seemed over the top wrt improv.
Sure, the DM may not have been my first choice, but I'd watch another one-shot with him (ditch the weird host guy though) to give him a chance.
I don't think the situation was really dire enough to warrant comment, though.
Who is this '& More' guy?
b Dave. ftw
b dave just on his phone
As he said, it has his character sheet on it.
Remember when humans didn't idolize Pete ohs? Niether do I. Snap out of it. Wake up Neo. Wake up.
They mispelled her name, how dare they! It’s Woll not Wall. She deserves better!
They did fix it in the next round of caption; at least they put up names again with the correction after someone pointed it out to them. It was a live stream.
Not great to get it wrong in the first place, of course.
Is this channel a re launch of G4 or rebranded up up down down ?
Yes
relaunch/revival, but Xavier Woods is an official host for G4
It's a reboo-quel.
Interestlingly, Rohar Sandstone sounds a lot like Gilbert Gottfried.
Someone put a light on the host..
Beacon of Hope? Did they all forget so quickly?
it wouldn't have helped them anyway. Theyd have got advantage on the fear and maximum healing.
Fight may have lasted six more seconds. But Woll did try. Even shouted it out.
Terrible DM'ing is why it wasn't cast. Dude barely understands the game.
Isaac kappy
Hilarious 😂
Duh-warf
woulda been even better if they were playing level 10 or 12 characters and there was another hour or so of combat before they got creamed
Seth and Deborah! But... Who the hell is everyone else?
Man i just wish they would get over the Dr.Snuggles party and Disney adventures...Everyone doesn't need to be on acid all the time..
...what?...they all just get completely annihilated? They didnt have a chance.. unless that beacon of hope thing they forgot was thier only chance.
I'm sorry but that was really bad.. the players deserved so much more.. they barely rolled their dice and got killed in the first round who was this meant to be fun for? The dm barely even asked them to roll for checks
pretty sure thats the point
The production quality is both great and terrible at the same time, I don't understand what's happening.
Seth Green looking old af now
I mean, he is nearing 50 years old. No one can keep their youth for.
@@mrdude88 tell that to paul rudd
He looks just fine. What are you talking about? He's not a vampire.
Exactly!
He's a Werewolf.
Well... That was anticlimactic
while I am stoked that G4 has made or is making a comeback, and I like Seth Green, I would rather watch campaigns with ordinary people rather than professional actors who, though quite talented, are experts at improvisation and voice work. I think this is why I can't get into stuff like Critical Role.
I mean... Seth green is a professional actor.
@@pigstiches my point exactly
This DM isn't very good. Missed a lot of things, and the host was just weird.
I only got through this because of Deborah Ann WOLL NOT WALL, and Seth Green.
The objective of D&D is to tell an engaging story. If your story is only engaging because actors are carrying you, then it's the exact opposite.
Also, if something LETS you hit it, you don't need to roll. A roll suggests they are actively trying to defend themselves.
Should have been a critical. You said it dropped its guard. What AC would it have? It isn't defending itself. 63 damage would have hurt. Even a dragon.
With two ... TWO!!!...Dungeon Masters running this game, with ONLY 4 players to manage, and they still had the nerve to ask a player to pull double duty and voice another player's NPC follower?
...wow...
That's some weak DMing.
Great waste of talent.
Great players mediocre GM. I don't understand; was it always the project to have them fight against a way more powerful monster and TPK? Was it to show that level 1 players shouldn't fight against a dragon with legendary moves? I really don't get it... Couldn't it have been other monsters?
If they dont kill em ppl wont stfu about continuing episodes. Ppl like closure. Not everyone can play a crit role campaign.
This isn’t peak d&d. This is a PR campaign to sell d&d.
There was some kind of audience participation gimmick during the livestream that determined how powerful the monster they fought was going to be by showtime. The players were always going to be level 1. I think baseline for the dragon was level-appropriate at the start of the event but enough people participated in chat or donated or whatever it was to boost it up to…this.
@@silromen42 thanks for the much needed context. I guess that makes sense. I'd never let twitch decide the CR of an encounter personally, but it makes sense from a PR standpoint.
Full party wipes aren't fun unless ALL agree on it as a one off. But those aren't that engaging. And it won't sell. No one wants to die. Dumbest marketing strategy ever.
What was the point of this? A complete waste of time; I can't believe this got greenlit by WotC.
Why
