I think for the second error the null hypothesis should be same as the first " the medicine is curing the disease".. since it wasn't the case as it was producing adverse effects. yet we continued the treatment. i.e., even our hypothesis was false, we continue to treat with the same drug..

Sir, Null Hypothesis means that there is No Relation between two variables. But in your example of Type 1 error that H0 is Medicine is curing the disease. How Sir? H0 should be Medicine is not curing the disease. Isn't it Sir?
