Sir what is Degree of Freedom? Can u plz explain the concept
Sir at 10:30 you said that in z test population s.d is known but cant we use z test even if we dont have population std dev (using std error formula as Sample s.d/ square root n ) ?
So wont standard error in z test also stay variable? (If we dont have population std deviation)

Go for t test because you don't know sd of population

@@GouravManjrekar ha bro dekha...waha apka n ka value 12+15-2=25 thaa...joo 30 kaa niche hota hain...but mere math mein 30+27-2=55 hain joo 30 see jada hain..and n kaa value 30 see jada hoga toh T test use too nahi hota hain suna thaa?sir agar aap mind naa karo toh phir mere math koo phir se ekbar dek kee bataoge?main confusion me huu Z karu yah T karu....but thanks apko bese bhi....

Can you explain degrees of freedom?
You have used the same value of t(8 degree of freedom),0.10 and t(8 d.o.f)0.05
Can you please clarify that ?
t(8degree of freedom), 0.10 = 1.860 is critical value of t for two tailed test.
t(8degree of freedom), 0.05 = 1.860 is critical value of t for one tailed test.
In some book we are given two tailed table value of t and in some book we are given one tailed t value.
We use two tailed t value.

your concept is wrong.....for two tailes test we use alpla as alpha/2 which makes 0.1 to 0.05 and for one tail test we use t alpha
Please download student t table from description of video .
In some book t table is given for two tail and in some book it is given for one tail.
So download table which contain both one tail and two tail value and your Concept will be clear.
