GOOD CLASS... I REQUESTED TO DO ONE CLASS FOR PRACTICAL CONCEPT SIDE OF RESEARCH????? OK
16:04 Error to Error hota hai na.
Chahe Type I hoya II.🚫
Simply Good, We want Teachers like you Reemaji 👩🎓
The location for false postive (type 1 err) and false negative (type ii error) should be interchanged in your confusion table.
Hello Reema, Thanks for these videos.. It's very helpful to understand the fundamentals. I agree that both errors are equally dangerous but @ 19:36 I felt that product succeeds should be null hypothesis and product fails should be Alternate hypothesis? Am I correct? Please correct me if I'm wrong..
Please explain what relation between power of test and alpha and bita .(05 to.01 )
Super my lovely ❤️ mam,,, tq u so much for this class
Lots of love Rekha❤️

reality: wearing mask prevent corona virus.
Ho: there is no significant difference between wearing and not wearing mask for prevention of corona virus
H1: wearing mask prevent corona virus i.e., there is significant difference in prevention of corona virus by wearing mask
now if we accept Ho, which is false we are committing type II error. i think you suppose wearing mask prevent corona virus as null hypothesis which not correct. yuor hypothesis is alternative. please make do some research about null and alternative hypothesis. please suggest me if im worng.
thank you for your video.
What is the answer of " Identify the type of error that researchers control"? Pls explain
Wonderful but Type 1 error is more Dangerous
🤞
Mam i actully loved your explanation. Could u plz upload videos on econometrics plzz🙏🙏
Thank you so much mam for your kind words. Although i am a commerce student, we studied micro, macro and managerial economics and statistics as different subjects and never studied econometrics. Still you can mention the topics of econometrics with which I can help you :)
@@ReemaNayyar a topic in probability distribution namely normal distribution kindly discuss that
@@parul5669 sure mam :)
Congrats for jrf...r u research scholar now?
I guess other names of errors are not correct. Like false hit or false positive for type1 error. It should be for type 2 error. And miss and false negative should b used for type 1 error
Hi mam.
I have a question that you will teach all subject of paper 2 or not.?
Hi Pretty. I'll be covering all the units of Paper 2 one by one. We are currently doing Business Statistics and Research Methods. Next we will be starting Economics. You can follow me on Unacademy for all the updates.
@@ReemaNayyar yes i am following you.
Recently I am preparing from the business stastics which you uploaded.
I have one request after paper 2 please also teach paper 1😊
@@Learnenglishwithpretty Definitely 🤗
@@ReemaNayyar you are covering each topic for exam?
If you could provide the pdf or ppt, that will be very nice of you.
You can join telegram channel- Reema Nayyar for complete PDF of business Statistics and even hand written notes which I prepared for all the learners
Power=1-P(Type 2 error)
Test power inversely proportional to β.
That is type 2 error is more dangerous
both type I and II error are dangerous. it depends upon the situation. one of the major reason why type II error is more dangerous than type I error is that the type I error can be greatly minimised by controlling the level of significance. if the consequence of type I error is more dangerous than we can lower the level of significance. but we can't directly control the type II error as like that of type I error. to minimize the type II error we have to increase the sample size. both error can't be control simultaneously, first we fixed the level of significance by observing the consequence of type I error and that to minimize type II error, we increase sample size. thank you
how could you say "cold water cures corona virus" is a null hypothesis ?
your null hypothesis is "cold water doesnot cure corona virus" and alternative hypothesis is "cold water cures corona virus". if we reject null hypothesis which in fact is true then we committ type I error. the example of type I and Type II in this video completely worng. you are explaining type II error as type I error and vice-versa. please do clear me if i am wrong.
thank you very much.
Thank you for bringing this to my notice. Yes in Null Hypothesis there is no difference.
And who says that a teacher can't learn from mistakes. I'm indebted to you.
Another thing "How Could You" is a loud statement and shows disrespect. A request avoid using such statements for anyone. Have a good day!
