I have a 72-inch blind. It is too heavy to raise. I'm installing two narrower blinds so I can raise the blinds and enjoy my view. Thank you for showing me how it will look when it is finished. I wasn't sure if it would look good, but yours looks great.
Where the two meet in the middle of the window can you show how the decorative trim looks. I have three windows together and want to hang three blinds. Do you only add the decorative trim piece to each end cap and not the ones in between?
I like that you made this video. I was just at Lowes today and I want the bamboo Levelor trim n go version of blinds. My two windows measure 69 1/2 x 46 so this is a great solution. I got a estimate for a custom version and it was almost $1000 🤯
Never have I ever thought of installing two blinds instead of one, but now I have.
I did..that’s why i searched..glad i did even though i have 2inch regular blinds..hope it works out for me too
Do they make a connector piece to hook both trim headrails together to make it look like there is no split between the 2
Thank you!

I was wondering the same thing
Thanks a million!! I’m going to attempt to install my double window blinds tomorrow ☺️
How did you measure for the two blinds? Just spilt the entire width of the window in half, or did you leave room between them?
Same question

Great job with this tutorial! Lots of helpful tips and I appreciate that you shared your mistakes.
good job🌹
Nice! Save the money with two shorter blinds. Having to replace a 62 and its good to know how to get er done.
Thank you for the step-by-step video!
I have a window very similar how did you measure for side by side blinds?
This was so helpful. Our living room window is weird. Like 70x60 and we were trying to decide if we should do 2 smaller blinds or 1 huge custom one
did you go with custom?
@@echoalpha9157 Nooope. We ended up installing 2 smaller sizes, side by side
@@JerrTheHooman did you do inside mount or outside? Also, it's an outside mount, did you drill on the frame or the wall?
@echoalpha9157 we did inside mount and we screwed into the wall. We had to use wall anchors because we have drywall
@@JerrTheHooman thank you, this helps
So you measured the total width, how did you know how wide to trim each section?
Thank you, exactly what I was looking for!
What terrific instructions! I will try to do it tomorrow.
Wish me luck, about to try. Thanks for the video
Thanks this is what I was looking for, really helped
wow the 2 blinds together look so good. Thanks for all the handy hints.
I’m so glad you changed it so we can finally open the window!!!
I put 3 sets of blinds on a 9 foot window in our house 😂
