Tell me, is it possible to rearrange the top cover with a membrane, a plastic ring from 101 to 100 valve, do they have the same body or are they different?
1 - always throw out old diaphragm replace w new top include solenoid too 2 - failed to show how to "properly" flush valve. Video showed small rocks which is what created problem No service tech will have something monitored for 24 hrs do right first time!! there is a service tool (Service Buddy) that can be placed on valve body after bonnet is removed to "properly" flush valve prior to reassembling the valve.
Hunter makes the WORST valves out there and have the ABSOLUTE WORST INTEGRITY in the industry. Take for example their ICV valves. In 2014, they quietly changed the anatomy of the internal components of the valve, while still having the same nomenclature. And best of all, they don't supply parts for the pre-2014 version of the valve. The new parts won't fit. So, you're stuck with having to replace the entire valve. Their customer service has been trained to act like they've never heard of this issue before. These valves are expensive and don't last. You have no choice but to cut out the box and start over. Try that on a 110 degree day. My advice, buy anything but a Hunter irrigation valve. At a minimum, they should replace these defective valves and provide subsistence for the associated labor. Unfortunately, they lack INTEGRITY and never will do the right thing.
Absolutely! I have nothing but problems with Hunters Sh***y valves! Some irritation guys deep-throat Hunter because some other guys swore by them and never experienced RainBird DV series! Those things go & Go...
Also, when putting screws or bolts back on the valve body, you need to tighten them in an X pattern just like you u do with car tire.
at 3:13 i wish you showed how you put diaphragm in. important step missing
Thanks for pointing it out. I will do a separate video soon.
Looks like you have a wire pinched under the lower right hand screw head.
Yeah that was painful to watch

Do not recall exactly but I was able to switch around when I did not have enough parts in the field. Interior guts were identical.
@@5280Fix The membrane is the same - I am 100% sure, because it is sold for different valve models.

I will look into that. Thanks for the idea!
