I was there, May 2014. for my sons graduation. WOW, such a great performance put on with Jimmy Page being honored. Memory that will never be forgotten.
What an amazing performance ! No pressure, it's just the amazing guitar master Jimmy page. In audience ! What a loving tribute ! I never wish Robert was 19 again, only can't wait for the next fantastic thing he does musically....his musical explorations benefit us all. This all goes to show, how truly amazing led Sep was and is
Listening, these guys and gals are all fantastic musicians, but you also realize how unique page and zeppelin were and how hard it is to approximate them
Agreed. I wanted to hear a bit of originality, maybe something coming from left-field, but still devoted in spirit to the band, but all I can see is a glorified bar band covering Led Zep
He sang all of that better than any live performance I've ever seen Robert plant do, great vocal range and energy you were all fantastic, kudos to the drummer, the ladies both beautiful and talented, two lefty guitarist playing two of my favorite guitars, the acoustic piece, such a great job all of you, what an honor it must have been for Jimmy to watch you all playing his music so well, I bet you punched him in the heart❤️ as a long time Zeppelin fan it was a joy to witness this, thanks for this and the very best of luck to you all in your musical futures👍🏼✌🏼️
Seems like most of the guitarists were focusing more on showmanship than actually wanting to play well. Jimmy could do both. I noticed the woman playing guitar sounded best because she wasn't trying to play and run around on stage. And the singer was just cringe from beginning to end.
You’re right the singer Was pretty cheesy he took too many privileges with the song I mean if you seen the iconic woman you need it and he said baby. come on don’t really talk to my Berkeley
Appreciate that these guys did this...but some of that guitar work was like purposely technically sloppy, it's like they think that's Pages style or something? Jimmy was always very, very precise in the studio, and although he had some rough performances in later years, he had a hell of a lot of great ones.
These educated musicians are great!!! Not only that they have learned the scholarly rudiments of studying music but they appear to be naturally gifted too!!!
You would think playing in front of Jimmy Page, they’d have tried harder, Jimmy really didn’t look that impressed. By about their age, Jimmy had founded Led Zeppelin, he didn’t have any formal training either. I’m guessing these students didn’t decide in college, hey I’m going to play guitar, they should have been far better. The singer pretending to be Axle Rose, & not really knowing the words, Axle wished he was Robert Plant.
Wait...is this Berklee, as in Berklee College of Music? The school that produced the likes of Donald Fagen, Bruce Hornsby, and Bill Frisell? The musical utopia where Pat Metheny famously mentored (at age seventeen) protégés such as Mike Stern? A lot of the solos here sound like disjointed noise. Disappointed. :-

Yo props to all these musicians for standing up and rocking that in front of the man himself . Bless

Jimmy couldn't get a closer seat?
KUDO'S!!! but every time i here someone sing whole lotta love i just wish robert was 19 again.
yep....nobody can touch the young Percy !!!!

Super solid drummer. But some of the guitar play was... Questionable.

late to catch this- Maddie you rock !! great job !!

Haha I guess we all have our preferences
Not even close, nobody ever has or ever will have Plants amazing range tone & texture. Robert Plant is the greatest singer ever.

The whole song is about worshiping women and he couldn’t even say that word woman

lol ever heard the Heartbreaker studio solo its very sloppy but the sloppiness is so important ;-)
Wow, the singer is fantastic. Everybody was great!
WOW - The male singer in furs is fantastic. Very talented.... 👍👍😊😊❤❤
Arrepiei...demais demais
you need some song on your performance. High pitch man voice...
Barely recognize any of the songs except for the first two or three and I know the songs I just was so different
Only a few notes of the originals, I guess quite a bit of improvising, or running around stage to much.
These educated musicians are great!!! Not only that they have learned the scholarly rudiments of studying music but they appear to be naturally gifted too!!!
That kid can sing wow
Way Down Inside !
The guitar playing is dire. The intro HMMT riff is enough to turn off
i don't even imagine how is to play in front of JP
True live rock...enjoy it...it's an Artistic Cover...not autotune fakes
Maddie got short shrift on the guitar parts. I think it's because she's right handed LOL! The vocalist and drummer were incredible too.
Maddie and the drummer. That's about it. And yeah, they didn't get any time to get propper shred time.
Fantastic awesome humble talented amazing what can i say? Thanks!!!
I’m sorry but it just doesn’t live up to the legend?
I guess it’s supposed to by a younger generations
Version
The SG with the P90s was a good idea as Most people will know that Jimmy had coil switches on his Les paul !!
Maddie and the drummer are the most talented people on the stage.
The dipsh*t with the sg needs to just....
Whole lotta love was good!
Not bad kids...
Barely recognize any of the songs except for the first two or three and I know this song is just was so different, plus I hate medleys
So disappointed, so many mistakes. Perhaps they should sell shoes .
😂

Sounded like a train wreck. The singer should have just sang and not ried to mimic Planty. Some of the guitar work was not great.
axl rose on vocals? :D
Ofc he can sing, that's Axl Rose

😂😂😂
These guitarists can’t play their way out of a wet paper bag!
Crap!
Well intentioned, but sloppy as fuck
Maybe that's a tribute to Jimmy Page 😂
This is terrible. Its like something from Glee. Jesus
while the lead singers voice is good his antics were embarrassing.......
EL Rod I think his antics helped make it,
Can tell he was a fan on Axl Rose
He was just playing the part. But I guarantee you Maddie wasnt happy about having him draped all over her like that.
How annoying is that singer?
