Julie, I know how you feel with your back. Ive had 2 lower back fusions....both failed. I use the Fentanyl patch and low dose morphine....they take the edhe off...
The orchids help me enjoy life.
Mine live under lights by a 6' window...
Years ago late 70's i had tons of exotic house plants...up to 100. I even tried to grow a Giant Lilly...the big one that really stinks.
I have 42 orchids and growing all the time. Just bought a Millennium Magic Cycnoches.

Wonderful collection, they look so happy and healthy! ❤ and how wonderful, a Miltoniopsis spike on the way. That’s how it all started for me, the first rebloom and I started to buy more and more of them 😅… looking forward to the blooms. 🎉 Happy New Year 🎊

Nice that your Brassia Rex has a spike. Mine is a monster and has bloomed for me just once with two spikes. It produced about 20 new growths in 2023 and not a single one spiked.
