@@laceyunderall68 You know, after sleeping on it and looking again today I can see that it looks like a prop from a sci-fi movie so it is going to people who grew up with that stuff. It is a bold choice but they are clearly trying to appeal to younger people than me.
A much kinder reaction compared to others I've seen on UA-cam this afternoon. No backlit buttons according to 44T, BMW seem incapable of listening to user feedback and doing something that would actually be welcome on their new bikes.
o Jesus Dave. You're too kind. It's cyber truck ugly. Looks like somebody crashed through Halfords window on a naked and everything magnetically attached itself to the bike. This wouldn't even make my shortlist ....
Dave, think the sun is affecting your eye sight 😂. Must be the ugliest thing I have ever seen. Have a 21 version off the 1250 gsa. Will be at my dealership asap. They still have a few 1250’s available. Think this would be a great bike to ride at night, saves you the embarrassment.
Dave I’m glad you shared your thoughts on this. I watched the presentation live and was very taken aback by the very poor presentation. It was glaringly obvious that they made a mess of it. Anna I confirmed it when I watched it a second time. Anyway back to the bike. I do love the looks of it however I will not but a bike without a clutch. Let me say that again. I WILL NOT BUY A BIKE WITHOUT A CLUTCH LEVER! Not at this point in my life. They have to rectify that as other commenters have said here which I’m hoping is true the no clutch will be an option you pay more for. Anyway I love the look of the bike
Nice and sunny up in Cheshire! As I said on TMF's channel, if you fit ally panniers you won't be able to tell the front from the back. In my opinion (and that's all it is) it's pig ugly. Actually, on reflection, that's an insult to pigs!

Dave, I have photos of a Trophy with an hydraulic clutch cylinder and clutch lever. The German presentation implied all GSAs would have the automatic box. It seems there will be both available. Also the cast aluminium sections appear to have been replaced with tubular seat supports akin to those on the 1250.
I think the Design team got their plans mixed up in a board meeting when they sent a comedian in to cheer them up. The end result was that it now looks like the outside of the factory it was built in.
Loving your holiday look Dave x Think you like this more than me! It reminds me of the Nissan Cube car hahahahahah x anyway! Hope it performs like a dream for anyone who likes the look of it x

It doesn't have a DCT (Double Clutch Transmission) it's a standard box which is operated by actuators to provide the auto function. The bike does come standard with a clutch lever, the auto box (ASA) is a cost option.

I like it, and though no adventure bike is "good looking" the 1300 is no more or less offensive than the 1250 is/was. It's certainly a superior bike to the 1250 and having spent a lot of miles on the 1300GS, I speak from my own experience.
