We had the same thing happen to us on rise of the resistance at Hollywood studios this past week and we were stuck in there for an hour. Son is in a wheelchair and we had to wait for them to bring our chair around and it was not allowed on the floor of the ride.
If people could keep all their stuff in the vehicles it wouldn't happen so much. If anything drops they have to shut trackless rides down. Annoying, but likely what happened.
I loooooooooooooooooooovveee mickey and minnoes runaway railway its such a good atraction. Now dosney specifficaly those who are in charge of meet and greets make the fab five (mickey,minnie,pluto,donlad,daisy, goofy, chip and dale) in runnaway railway stlyeoufit and all.

I took a tour on this ride and we were shown every hidden Mickey. There's multiple that can't be seen during a normal ride

We have been on that ride 4 times. Three of the times we got evacuated because it broke down.
I got evacuated off Disneyland's Alice in Wonderland. That was kind of creepy...

Alright who dropped something >:( (yes thats usually what causes the trackless rides to “shut down”
When we had to be evacuated off of Dinosaurs, we were strongly encouraged NOT to take photos/video of the ride with the lights on.

This happened to me but our train was barely out the station before it broke down. So didn’t get a proper look at the ride with lights on.
Does this ride have the record for most breakdowns or something 😅
More than likely someone just dropped something as usual
We were evacuated off this ride too but we literally made it to the very end of the ride. We still got a free pass though!
