How did it go? I’m planning on taking mine in the next couple of months.. I have all the requirements but our weather has not been good and my CFI has been busier with personal things.
I'm open water diver certified and I haven't gone diving in a while, long enough to forget some of the more advanced lengths of time. That was rough. I'm probably going to go back through my open water diver training and take a refresher course. Also, got my PPL checkride in about a week and a half, thanks for this live stream that I was able to come back to.
Jason, you asked the question “what two things affect stall speed?” You gave the answer as “weight and CG”. I don’t disagree, but when you initially asked the question, I first thought “bank angle.” Can you tell me why that answer would be wrong? Stall speed does increase in a turn, I think because of the decrease in the vertical component of lift. Indeed, someone mentioned “load factor” as an answer, and if you think about it, it makes sense; load factor really comes down to weight and bank angle/turn radius. So can we say there are 3 things that increase stall speed? Weight, CG, and bank angle? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for putting the recording on UA-cam for everyone to learn from. This was very helpful. I have my checkride in a little less than a month. I actually bought the audiobook a few years ago when I first stared to study on my own. It was a couple years before I really started training. There is a couple outdated things in the audiobook but when I looked for an updated version it just came up with the same version I have (stating that I already have the book downloaded). Is there a newer version available?
So helpful as always. I’ve been with you for 6 years! Commercial checkride is in 45 days! Thank you for all you do!
I am greatly humble. Thank you very much for that knowledge. Glory be to the name of GOD.
Thanks Jason! I’ve got my private pilot checkride in 2 days and I’ve listened to your book about 20 times. Your voice is permanently in my brain!! 😂

the four left turning tendencies are torque,p-factor,spiral slipstream and gyroscopic precession
From Orlando. Thanks always for your input and effort.
Good morning great to be here. ❤

wait 12 hours as a precaution of scuba diving
24*
12 hours if your flight remains below 8,000ft MSL, 25 hours if you go above it. From the PHAK
Jason, I believe I heard this from you.. the aircraft I rent is older and has no MEL or Equipment list. Can you tell me how to get one??
I believe it’s 18 hours for non-decompression and 24 if decompression was required. Maybe that changed recently?
What is your thought on accelerated flight schools?
Love this.
Great content!! Although for a second, I thought you were Seth Gold from Hardcore Pawn lol
