    Learning is defined as a change in behavior based on experience. Learn it, Live it, Love it.

    Awesome instructor!!! I love your attitude and passion, and especially when you say I hope this podcast has saved one life♥️ I’m also impressed with your knowledges and pedagogy with respect to translating educational research into “conversational” flight instructing- what a team you have- so inspiring♥️I am, indeed, continuing to learn-😍

    BAI, Control Performance, and flying partial panel are my three top areas of critical importance when flying instruments. The fun stuff is doing holds, enroute, approaches, etc....

    Hey Jason, I have been watching your awesome videos for some time now, and I credit them for helping me receive my private pilot certificate. Now I'm beginning to think about getting my instrument rating, but I'm not sure about the very first steps a "continuing student" should take as they transition from a ppl to the pursuit of an instrument rating.
    Thank you for all that you do for the aviation community. Yours in flight, Russell Swan.

    Hello Jason and the MzeroA team from Sydney, Australia.
    That was a good motivation chat.
    My steps
    * listen to the FAR/AIM practice quiz sessions
    * study airspace classifications
    * meteorological terminology
    Thank you

    I over think and have a desire to not only learn but to grasp the nuances of ever step along the Instrument Training path. I’ll be one of those IFR students that will take 60+ hours of training, I’ve already accepted and embraced that and it really lifted the pressure. I’ve asked my CFII to challenge my mental task loading every flight. I’ll be the first to say not every flight is fun and I’ve often debated if I really want to do this “for fun”, then I go flying with my wife and she comments on how she notices that I am a better pilot or and my CFII comments during debrief how my piloting skills are already beyond that of some commercial students. My end goal is to be a CFII and my INT checkride is “just another flight”. ETA Fall 2021.

      Way to keep on practicing and learning! Flight training can definitely can be tough at times, especially during Instrument. It's great that your wife notices your hard work! If you need any help during your training please reach out to us at support@mzeroa.com. Fly safe!

    I treated my IFR checkride like my CFII ride. I was writing out lessons on non-charted holds on the chalk board.

      Good point. If you are going to be a CFI, you should be writing lesson plans that you will use once you become a CFI. Don't wait until you become a CFI before you start writing lesson plans. You will revise them numerous times, but get into the mindset now by DOING lesson plans now (in writing).

    I think you would do really well with long form podcasting on these subjects. A 2-3 hour discussion on a couple of topics would be amazing. Joe rogan most notably has done the best, there are plenty of others as well. You have the knowledge and speaking engagement to hold an audience. Go for it!

    I am a private pilot. Unless you are employed by a commercial company or have a scholarship to fly it’s cost prohibitive to stay current and safe. You need to fly at least twice a week. Do the math. General aviation is in serious trouble.
