- As Black Ops 6 nears its release, it is VITAL for COD players to understand how Call of Duty tricks you into buying new games and spending money every year. Over the years, COD players are finally catching on to the same old cycle. It's why many fans have left the franchise for XDefiant. And it makes you wonder if a game like XDefiant can compete with Call of Duty. So are you BUYING or SKIPPING Black Ops 6 this year?

"This COD is so cool"
"Nevermind, this COD sucks"

Precisely 🤣🔄
And sbmm not helping it either
Activision is like that toxic ex that you can't help going back to by showing they changed a little 😅.
So true 🤣
Damn why is that so real🤣
Infinity Ward: Fucks everyone and does their own thing
Sledgehammer: Tried to please people
Treyarch: Alright, step aside
Accurate
I'm not gonna lie..... I only watch this content because everytime you say "Cod sucker" I lose my shit 😂😂😂😂😂😂 keepitup bro
Lmao thank you, will do!
Bro thinks he's Admiral Briggs 💀
I never fell for Modern Warfare 3, I bought MW2 in October of 2022 because it was the latest game and I got my first PC that year. Black Ops 6 impressed me while MW3 did not. I believe in Treyarch but if it is a game from Infinity Ward or Sledgehammer I do not want the game.
I definitely agree that it’s safe to say Treyarch has built the strongest reputation with the community
I feel that i may stop getting anything thats not a Treyarch cod
@lAMDEWAN I skipped mw2 and bought the mw3 best decision I made. Mw2 2022 was a terrible game from the beta alone. Mw3 felt better to me, and the reviews were saying it's a patched and fixed game and it was and it was much better for it
I didn’t even think about the cosmetic factor. You play the beta and get nostalgia because it looks like the OG cod games and then a couple weeks into release it turns into Fortnite
Exactly!! It’s kinda false advertising
What really has pissed me off about CoD lately is them creating a problem by taking away something we already loved, and then selling it back to us a few years later as a brand new "feature".
Exactly they got people reeled in every year with that tactic
looks like im a alien here because i thought the mw2 2022 movement and gunplay feels great, its kinda like that in the old cods that i grew up playing with, but nowadays people just want more speed and be more agile because the modern youth has short attention spans. good video though, activision will do anything it takes to gaslight you into buying the new game.
That’s true, people prefer faster everything these days. But yes Activision is certainly in the gaslighting business 🤑
Thank you!
3:53 "best settings for console" I'm rolling 😭😭
Lol they love to overcomplicate things
I got burnt out of mw3... After 2,000hrs. I got my moneys worth, now I'm hyperfocused on an indie game called Friends vs Friends
2,000 hours is crazy, no wonder you got "burnt out"
Damn 2,000 hours?? Lol but yeah Indie is the way to go
@@NICK-a I just got everything done 🤷♂
XDefiant needs to give us game modes without abilities in an alternate playlist. It’s the only reason I’m still holding onto CoD. I understand it’s a hero shooter but the abilities get so cheesy after a while, especially the intel suit and barriers. I love XD but hope they give us a barebones type mode with just gunfights. I hope both games improve regardless. Competition is healthy .
Agreed, I hate the hero abilities. That’s why I hated specialists when cod had them.
I haven't bought a cod game since mw 2019 if black ops 6 isn't good I'm losing all hope in cod
4 years of dev time, it better be good
Cod destroy it self since bo4
Yup since BR basically
Cod started it's own destruction gradually after COD4 on 2007. And slowly starts its downfall, COD is unfortanally a franchise that was a cow-cashgrab from the start to compete against MOH and BF...
Im not buying bo6 in general, not even game pass
Not bo4 also no
@@wizops5773no
I haven't really gotten into a CoD game since MW2019. I haven't even purchased a CoD since a 50% off sale for Vanguard. Happily found great alternatives like Hell Let Loose & Helldivers 2
I’d say you’re winning now 🍵
@lAMDEWAN we got too many great other multiplayer games that leaves me genuinely shocked people are so focused on some of the crap out there
@@5hane9ro no
@@Nooneishereonlyme yes
This is why after BO4 I wait until everyone else purchases the game, then make my decision on whether
A. I think it’ll be a product worth my time and money and get it shortly after release
B. To completely skip out on this years game
C. To wait until a price drop/discount/sale if I think it has some good qualities but isn’t worth full price
Smart choice 👍
I remember people were getting hyped that MWIII changed the text color from white to yellow in MP. Absolutely ridiculous.
Lmao I do remember that as well. These dudes are freaks.
COD has us by the balls, wether we like it or not they can feed us whatever and were forced to comply, Xdefiant is stopping them at their feet, finally something thats fun and free and has a big machine behind it, ubisoft lore.
It’ll be nice to see more competition arrive in the fps market and make a real statement. It’ll at least force cod to try a LITTLE lol
Ok but omni directional movement seems kinda cool lowkey.
10:21
at least it seems interesting and "innovative"
If the new movement is good, than this is NOT a case of "changing something that isn't broke"
The only thing it’ll be good for is funny moments. Other than that, sweats are gonna make the game unbearable and campers are gonna have a field day with the 360 degree prone.
This whole cod cycle for the community started with ghosts and we never had a non controversial cod game
Yeah at that point it just went downhill
Wrong
@@Nooneishereonlymewhy so?
Can't be tricked if you dont buy.
*Big brain move*
🧠
i cant buy black ops 6 i only have 1m dollars i want to spend it on something important something i will use forever
Spend wisely
I'll buy Black Ops 6 for $20.00 😂
Even that may be pricy 🤣
20 dollars for a game like that? I get it, 70 dollars is kinda ridiculous, but just sit and think about it .. there are 3 main modes in the game, each with a LOT of details and thought put into them, cinematics, animations, movement mechanics, other gameplay mechanics that are small but make the game feel more dynamic, graphics, replayability, Voice actors, directors, art design, hundreds of gun camos, different game modes, challenges, try to do all that and then have the audacity to sell it all for $20
Great video. I’ve personally been “retired” from playing COD since 2017. I was a huge fan of the franchise since the beginning up until COD4 Remastered. After that the series just stopped resembling the classics of 2007-2013. I’d do anything for just one more classic feeling COD without the BS modern predatory crap that is in there nowadays.
I know exactly what you mean. The feeling of the classics is incomparable and cod 4 rm I’ll still play from time to time. Thank you!
I'm personally fine with them implementing Omni-directional movement (I think it's pretty cool and interesting from a game development standpoint) my real problem with it is how they act like its revolutionary system as if games like Max Payne 3 didn't already achieve this 12 years ago.
That’s true haha they love to act like they’re doing something new by copying other games
I haven't bought a cod game since cold war and I'm planning on buying bo6 for all the modes. I loved zombies back in the day and multiplayer and the campaign is just a bonus, I liked cold war zombies at the start but not the multiplayer and the campaign I found do be pretty good so when it comes to bo6 I can say I'm sold so far but ig this video put more light on what I should be expecting so thanks
I’m glad the video helped you out! Yeah I think bo6 will be the most solid cod since Cold War. Zombies should be the most reliable mode.
Unfortunately, millions of people will buy it anyway and will buy every cringe skin they release. I'm glad I grew up on golden era of CoD. Nice video btw
Glad I grew up in that era as well 🤝 thanks!
COD is the new Madden.
Same shit, every year.
This is sadly true
I think we can agree Warzone hurt multiplayer more than anything else
I can agree with that
Just from that multiplayer clips they showed from BO6 reveal I can tell THIS IS A COLD WAR DLC, DONT WASTE UR MONEY HAVE UR EXPECTATIONS LOW
Idk if I’d call it a CW DLC, especially since it’s on the IW engine. But we’ll see. What do you mean exactly by “Cold War dlc”?
@lAMDEWAN bo6 looks like cold War which is already a red flag
BO6 is also 80 euro now, fuck activision
And the number will keep going up
I’m in my 30s and haven’t played cod since 08 but are younger kids still interested in COD? I’m assuming COD has to compete with a lot more live service games.
They’re definitely trying to appeal to the younger crowd with all these ridiculous skins and whatnot. But I think younger kids these days prefer Fortnite for a shooter game.
This guy just used FOMO on himself with zombies towards the end of the video. 🙂↔️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Lol nah it’s not about wanting to miss out with BO6 zombies. I enjoyed Cold War zombies but I wouldn’t have bought vanguard and mw3 for zombies because I knew treyarch wouldn’t put much effort into it.
But when they do put effort into their own game it turns out to be a really fun mode that I enjoy.
Bro makes a video on not being hyped for cod but then admits he's hyped for zombies. Bro is part of the problem 💀
That’s not true because my hope for zombies is not based on fomo. My hope for zombies is based on a proven track record that Treyarch (when leading development) makes a fun mode to play. I loved cw zombies so I’m expecting more of the same if not better. But I explained in this vid already.
11:15 and standards for zombies that are good instead of just wanting something that you can enjoy for a day or two instead of actually caring about it for years to come like WAW-BO3
Yup gotta have standards up to par
Remember *crack the black ops 6 for the campaign*
And play xdefiant for the multiplayer
*Also de wan I heard a romur and from Blame the Truth that black ops 6 SBMM and EOMM is getting harder and harder so yea no multiplayer for us then*
Yeah wouldn’t be a bad idea to stick with XDefiant for mp but we’ll see. But yes they’re absolutely gonna make the matchmaking even worse just like they do every year, guaranteed.
That matchmaking they got is ridiculous. I like a challenge but even with crossplay enabled it'll throw me in a match with good players but my ping sometimes is over 100ms when I had 40ms in the last. Then it's backout or be destroyed.
Yeah dude the matchmaking is beyond unbearable at this point 👎
I just wanna play the campaign man. I've been waiting since Black Ops: Cold War.
I’m really interested to see how it turns out
if bo6 sucks then i’ll never trust a new call of duty again. I really hope bo6 is good..
It better be good after 4 years of dev time
So i won't deceived by Treyarch again. I'm gonna wait until the release of game.
Sounds good 👍
after watching this video you kinda convinced me to buy the game based on the zombies part because that's the only part that I care about lol
Glad I could help 👍 I’m hopeful for zombies
Would I be falling to their trap if I'm only subscribing to the game pass for 1 month only Just to play the campaign and try the zombies ?
I guess it would depend if you’re using game pass for more than just cod. But then again you’re saving a lot of money regardless so I say you’re the winner in this 👍
I already feel like returning my steam copy of bo6
There’s still time 😅👍
Another big problem I’ve noticed for campaign fans is the excessive number small UA-cam channels posting UA-cam shorts with captions that spoil crucial plot points in the campaign. All it takes is for someone to accidentally come across one of these videos and then bam! The whole, or at least, part of the story has been spoiled for them. This also significantly intensifies the feeling of FOMO because you’re left feeling like you MUST experience the campaign for yourself immediately, before you inevitably come across more of these videos.
This happened to me with MWIII. Not that I was ever interested in playing this particular campaign because of how it turned out. Regardless, thanks to some UA-camrs’ blatant lack of consideration for other players who are yet to experience the game, I learned of the entire MWIII campaign narrative within a month after its release. All it took was to come across enough UA-cam shorts containing spoilers in the caption. From there, I couldn’t help but piece together the entire story without playing it myself.
You might argue “well don’t read the captions then” and “don’t watch the video” but by the time you’ve figured out what you’re looking at, it’s already too late. One might also argue “don’t access UA-cam around the release date of the game and you won’t have it spoiled” but… come on, be realistic here. Common sense will tell you that that is a ridiculous measure to go to to not have your favourite game spoiled. You shouldn’t have to worry about someone’s UA-cam video doing as little as coming across your feed to have it spoiled. Especially if it’s from a channel you don’t follow or have not even heard of.
While no one can control what UA-cam’s algorithm shows its audience, I think UA-cam creators need to think more carefully about how and when to post spoiler content, especially around the release date of a game. There is enough awareness around how UA-cam’s algorithm behaves regarding serving content to its viewers, that, UA-camrs should be taking this into consideration when deciding to post spoiler content. They should know by now that, when they post spoiler content, that makes no attempt to warn the viewer beforehand, it has the potential to ruin the game for their subscribers and anyone else innocently browsing UA-cam.
This was quite a long comment but I’m interested to hear what you all think of this too.
You do make a good point. It just comes down to creators taking advantage of the season when campaign is hype, so they capitalize on that fomo from players.
The tricky part is about shorts too is you could lose yourself in them for hours, so it’s pretty easy to wind up running into one of these spoilers.
Iv been thinking im only getting the game to play zombies and get max prestige and get dark matter for zombies i have low hopes for it tho so im waiting a few weeks to see how the game is to buy it
Zombies will satisfy I’d say. Especially if they update the game well unlike mw3 zombies.
what is the name of that song @ :40 it's hurting my brain trying to remember
I'd say mw3 multiplayer is way worse than mw2 multiplayer due to the difference is spawning philosophy. Mw2 spawns seemed more dependent on which objectives were captured, where enemies are and where your teammates are. But in mw3 anyone you just kill spawns somewhere nearby regardless of their on you teams side of the map overall. It's illogical and makes mw3 dogshit. Take revenge spawns out permanently.
Honestly that’s a good point. Spawns are worse than ever in mw3 and it literally is based on setting up the revenge spawn as you said. It’s so bad.
@@lAMDEWAN I appreciate you acknowledging it, outside of Birdman and a select few other creators it seems surprisingly underreported on despite having the most devastating affect on multiplayer as a whole imo.
Can i get one day without people yapping about a bad cod? Honestly now im starting to feel like the fanbase is killing it
It’s the publisher
this guy only makes cod hate videos and thats it, hes just another cod hater tryna fit in with the crowd. If he truly didnt care for the series he would move on and find a new species to enjoy his time with instead of trashing another
The only reason I got hope for BO6 is because Treyarch is making it
Valid
Ngl, I've never felt so happy to consider getting Game Pass for COD going forward. It's sus how they are kinda doing it, but at the same time eh? Might as well.
I've kinda just gotten tired of the game.
Honestly yeah it’s a no-brainer if you’re an Xbox player

I never bought Vanguard. I bought Mw2 for $10 from someone and barely played since it was kind of shit. I wasn't a dumbass so I passed on Mw3. So hell yeah Ima let CoD trick me because I haven't enjoyed a cod since Cold war, and I'm excited for Zombies again!
I think it’s reasonable for zombies, especially if it turns out to be great.
A huge problem is the community. They complain over everything even if it’s a good thing. I’ve heard tons of people say it before that these people can’t be happy!
and lets be honest what you do with your money is completely up to you. In the end your the one who bought that disk or clicked that button. You’re the one who bought that bundle. And if people really hated it all, then Call of duty would’ve die a long time ago
The community’s gullibility and forgetfulness are a problem id say

Another bait tactic that targets towards zombie players is the gobblegums.
Yup another part of their bait
Ive only gotten Cold War which I found fun until my previous laptop got cooked by it

is it just me being delulu or does anyone else feel as if cod leaks are fake, or better yet, "manufactured"? as if they were part of their marketing scheme and not some authentic leaks like GTA 6 had a few years back.
i´ve started to notice that they always show up at the same time year after years, always when the most recent cod´s popularity is starting to dwindle.
Yes especially with mw3 being year 2 of mw2
cod cycle is this

"this game looks great, it saved the franchise"

But I like being tricked into disappointment every year unless it's a Treyarch game.
Fair enough lol only for Treyarch
The way I see it is like how much you vale your gaming time if you think another call of duty or it's your first call of duty will be fun to you then buy it, or wait around to buy it if it gets cheap if you already have good games you love and play already with no sight of boredom then don't buy it sure you'll miss out but Hay you have games to play already, I personally will not buy it since I am always playing minecraft or world of warcraft but that's just me
You’re much better off on Minecraft haha an actual relaxing gaming experience 👍
How about don't pre-order and just wait a month after its release. Fight Fomo, wait for honest reviews and then decide to buy.... thats how I dodged the MW3 garbage...

Call of duty should just stop being a yearly thing, put some more time into this shit.
At this point yeah
I’m watching this as I know im still going to buy the vault edition

I already lost respect after they killed off soap, now i already stop supporting and getting hands on new cod after treyarch decided to make mason dead canon. Like ffs give it a break!
Yeah it definitely sucks without those 2 characters
I got the game from the game pass. I wasn't even planting to buy but got it for free
Worked out for you
wait for the game to release and see what the result and it depend
Not a bad approach
Since Infinite warfare cod has been a bit of a mess (we've had good games since, btw) cod ww2 was really unfun at launch but overall an improvement on IW at the time. Following that, we got bo4, which was a tremendous failure, and the game didn't live up to its hype. Mw 2019 came, and it was good with only a few complaints being people abuse movement too much. Cold War was highly regarded as a great game that was missing a few things on making it perfect. Vanguard was literally a mod for 2019. Mw2 came, and everyone was hyped to find out they slowed the game to a snails pace instead of patching exploits. Now we are on mw3, which is a patch and remake map dlc, which fixed people's complaints for mw2019 and mw2. Now we are getting bo6 a cod game made by treyarch with a 4 year dev time.
Not a bad summary haha but what you think about bo6??
@lAMDEWAN BO6 4 year dev time is promising, but the new movement will either be toxicly abused or the beginning of the new age of arcade shooters. Zombies will probably be fire, but let's be real unless it's as good as BO3 zombies it wont carry the game to success. BO3 was the last near perfect game despite its bad campaign. I am hoping for the best but prepared for disappointment. ( Cold War is the best of cod in the post mw 2019 age, and its biggest faults are the zombies maps were underwhelming a decent campaign that was the best we could get from a covid era game. The multiplayer suffered from some stilted movement and not many good new maps)
I’d say that’s a fair analysis. I do hope they can restore that faith in zombies mode at the very least.
All I’m looking for is if the game is consistently fun
Also btw, CoD is softening SBMM due to xdefiant
Depends on what makes the game fun for you
You wanna know another sign this game is gonna be garbage? The fact this shit is gonna be on a fucking PS4.
Good point lol for that extra 💰 that they TOTALLY need 🙄
R.i.p to any ps4 in advance trynna download it
Half of all PS4 owners haven’t upgraded yet, so that’s a huge market they are still able to reach. Games are going to stop being developed for the PS4 sometime next year, since we’ll be around most of the way through this current generation.
Or maybe there’s people who don’t wanna invest in a ps5 since they have something that can play the games they wanna play already
@@Darby-if3seIf devs leave the 4 in the dirt then people would want a 5
I mean i do like cod once in a while, i usually prefer the infinity ward games so that why the last cods ive bought have been mw and mw2.
Maybe ill buy bo6 but ill wait till the release.
That’s fair, best to wait it out 👍
If you’ve noticed not one creator that gets gifts whitelisted and early access have anything bad to say about the game. It’s sick the way they gaslight and milk people that’s why xdefiant has been a breath of fresh air
Yeah I personally couldn’t do it but I’m sure they get paid well 🤑 we’ll stick to what we know is true.
Because they're basically activision employees at that point. They have a stringent contract that lays out exactly what they can say, can't , even down to the key talking points to hype up thier sucker's, I mean subs
Enjoying Xdefiant so far and it's free 🤷♂️
i havent played a new one since aw. im gonna wait a few months and see if everyone likes it or not before actually buying it
Damn been a minute for you. You haven’t missed anything really.
It’s like a sports game, you ever play 2k or madden, it’s the same shit and they take and re-add features year after year to act like they are putting in something new. It’s one of those things that you really can’t rework the formula too much. But likewise, for the amount of money spent, as long as you play mp it offers hours of mindless content. I literally only play free for all just to try out new guns or own the lobby before a workout. I cant ever play warzone though, im not about to sit in a match for 30 or so minutes with low statistical chances of being number one with sweats who do nothing but game all day.
It very much has become like 2k. It’s the bait and switch tactic of giving and taking-and acting like they’re doing something great.
Call of Duty is one of my favorite video game franchises of all time, and as someone who prefers Treyarch games, I do see potential in BO6. But what you explained in this video is that I have fell for their tricks for a long time and I regret it. I’m a huge Zombies fan so I’m happy we’re getting round-based again, but I’m really worried about Multiplayer and the Campaign.
I’m sitting in the same boat as you. I’m confident in zombies but yeah, mp and campaign worry me because of recent history. I do prefer Treyarch as well though, always have. At least since post-bo2 era.
After black ops 2 I stopped buying COD games or playing them . I stopped letting them finessing me for my money. You got finessed by them because you chose to give them your money . The amount of ignorance in the gaming community now compared to 15 years ago is mind blowing
Safe to say gamers act way more on impulse these days. At least back then we had reason to be excited for games due to a proven track record.
Why? Bo2 was good 😂
Cold War wasn’t that bad in my experience, but to each their own I guess. Edit: then again, I just played offline with my friends and zombies. The campaign was dope.
Cold War is one of my favorite cods since bo2 so you’re not alone there. I loved playing zombies and the only thing I didn’t like was the intense sbmm.
B06 has bean in development for 4 years
We’ll see if that translates to a quality game
That's a known lie spread by Activision that everyone continues to fall every single time, to give the impression of a polished and well-made game. lies are part of the manipulation.
The only deal bricker for me to not upgrade to the vault edition is the yearly releases
And I honestly don’t think they’ll ever stop the yearly releases either
Idk man, ive never bought a CoD out of hype, or pre ordering them for those reasons, it aint hard to just not buy a cod every year without actually thinking if it is a good game or nah
It shouldn’t be hard but for most it is unfortunately
Zombies has always been round based and will just be Cold War, the only good news about zombies is gobble. I’m not going to buy it after watching this, ever. It just isn’t worth any money to me because it is just Cold War again with ever so slightly better zombies that isn’t actually that good. And the zombies crew now will be people you don’t care about with the new movement. Zombies was going to make me buy it eventually but 5 years for the same game that we never for the most part wanted.
Kinda a side note, but I have a feeling they may remaster zombies maps as well. Especially if year 2 is bo2 sequel.
I'd be lying if I said I was immune to the COD Stockholm Syndrome. I fell off with Ghosts, came back to BO3, fell off again, tried BO4 and instantly hated it. MW2019 drew me back, Hated Cold War and avoided Vanguard.
Came back to MWII. All seemed well, no more wack cosmetics.... Until they added The Boys, and it went downhill from there. Refused to touch MW3. Awful cosmetics, awful pricing, awful campaign, and just the fact I felt cheated by the fact it was supposed to be DLC.
I think I'm more upset at the fact I can't return to a point in MWII when it wasn't ruined by goofy skins.
I have zero faith in BO6, especially knowing that Treyarch openly admitted they knew there are people that care about immersion but didn't offer an actual solution.
I shit you not, they said they'll keep it immersive for the first few days before they start adding goofy skins (which is a fucking lie if you've seen the Vault Edition preorder skins).
100% understand where you’re coming from. That’s actually crazy they said that about immersion lol do they think we were born yesterday? Such a joke.
No you are wrong ghost and advanced warfare and bo3 and infinite warfare and cod 4 remaster and WW2 and bo4 and mw2019 and cold war and mw2 were good and not bad
No you are wrong they have and would bring solution and no there will be faith in bo6 also no they will not add goofy skins also since when the vault edition skins are goofy you i.d.i.o.t the Brutus and Claus are treyarch zombies skins and not goofy skins and the park and Adler skins are black ops themed skins and not goofy skins like literally park and Adler are characters from black ops cold war and Brutus is a character from black ops 2 zombies and black ops 4 zombies and Claus is a robot character from black ops cold war zombies
@@Nooneishereonlyme My brother in Christ, use commas and periods.
I don't care what you say, a zombie with a gun in a Gulf War themed MP is incredibly stupid. MP and Zombies used to be separate from each other for a reason. Enjoy your overpriced zombie skins.

After call of duty black ops 6 trailer, they promoted skins and master craft weapons that looks flashy, now they really want you to get their game. Activision is brainwashing us. 😢
Ofc, they want everyone to buy that garbage 🗑️
The fact that every single COD through 2027 is going to be a sequel to games from 10+ years ago proves how creatively bankrupt they are. Tango Gameworks didn’t need to die for this! 😭 Well, at least Sledgehammer will FINALLY get to make that Advanced Warfare sequel that was shut down to make way for Mordern Warfail III after 13 freaking years.
But there’s hope for Halo, right? Development is moving from Halo Infinite after it finally made the mark as a fun and decently competent-AAAAAAND THEY MIGHT BE REBOOTING THE FRANCHISE.
All of those new armors I’m not buying every single update were totally worth it, huh, Microsoft? 🤣
Creatively bankrupt is a good way to put it. F Tango lol and Halo rebooting is just laughable.
Also when you think AW2 will be? I heard next year (I hope not) or 2027.
@@lAMDEWAN Probably ‘27. I think the Activision execs learned a hard lesson in maintaining customer faith when they forced Warfail III to be so badly rushed, not to mention all of the debacles in the last decade showed how severe the cumulative effect of small shows of incompetence eventually become. For the next 10 years of COD’s existence (judging by the deal between Microsoft and Sony) they’ll at least try to display a modicum of integrity, lest they begin losing their playerbase again.
That’s a fair assessment
I always get hyped, but I'LL **NEVER** pre oder a COD, NO MATTER HOW HARD THEY TRY
don't even praise the zombies they haven't shown us anything to prove the original quality of zombies has returned.
It’s all just marketing to make people think bo6 will be good but in reality it will be horrible. Love your videos bro keep up the great work
Yes sir it’s all about pumping the game up to be something amazing every year and it’s so annoying.
Thank you I appreciate that 🙏
Fomo sucks like ive said many times id never buy the new cod and every year after i see the trailer im like fuck i gotta get it. I wont lie I’ll give em props, they make good trailers and know how to do it to make the player wanna buy it. Their marketing team are very smart
Love the honesty 😂 cod certainly has next level marketing.
Havent given them a single buck since BO3. Talk for yourselves haha

The only fomo that works on me is the Battlepass.
But i don't always buy each CoD. The only one i preordered is MWII since i liked it

This my my humble point of view. People always want to go back to thief safe place. When a developer try something new they will trash the game. And when the developers give them what they want, two months later the game sucks. I really enjoyed mw2. Great campaign. New mode with DMZ and raids. I really don’t care about multiplayer or warzone. I don’t know why people complain about the same game modes they have been playing for the past 20 years. If they bring new guns new maps new movement you’ll still going to get bored because you played the same game for a long time. I’m not excited for bo6 and I didn’t even purchase mw3.
Understood. At the end of the day, it’s just the COD cycle. I’m convinced it may never end.
I’m still excited tho and there isn’t anything you can do
Fair enough, I understand that. As long as you’re informed on how they market their games and reel players back in every year.
Personally I think black ops 6 is cool, and yeah, there are gonna be campers but Omni movement isn’t just a benefit to them it’s made to change the way we play entirely.
Someone else said how they’re ruining the game with dumb skins that are goofy but it’s really not the zombie woods skin is a throw back to og zombies and numbers is the campaign park and Adler are there as well since this game takes place after bo2 and Cold War.
Mb I messed up my grammar but I’m too lazy to change
I think you may very well be right about bo6. I do think skins ruin the immersion but apparently there won’t be any coming right away. And to that I ask:
1. Is that actually true?
2. How long will that last for?
I wasn't particularly hyped for COD MW3 2023. Too many red flags. Only really worth it if you want to play remade maps from the original MW2. Even then it's a hard sell.
As for COD BO6, I want to enjoy it but the online only requirement is an absolute deal breaker.
Yeah I don’t understand why they’d do that. It’s like they want to push players away who don’t play online.
Last time they had time to develope a game
Bo3 happened
That game was amazing
Bo6 should be similar
I think this will be the best all-around cod since cold war
@@lAMDEWAN you gotta admit cold war is nothing compared to bo3
They also say stuff like “we have 4000 developers”. Which actually in my eyes exposes them, I have some experience with the game development and the industry as a whole. And having 1000+ developers to me, is a really bad thing.
Teams work better when they all have the same vision and can work together on parts of a game. That is definitely not happening with this many people working on COD, they need to have less people on projects. It’s too many Chiefs in the kitchen.
100% they’re pulling the same stunt they did with MWII (3 years, 3,000 devs). It works much better when you have a small team like Arrowhead to work together as a cohesive unit.
I’m just playing it because it on gamepass (I haven’t played any cod games on release, I found some disks for the og modern warfare, waw, and black ops)
Makes sense for game pass
This video has a lot of things wrong about it. It lacks basic concepts of franchises and basic marketing.
I personally enjoy this years cods marketing so far it’s actually giving a damn and respecting their players with not putting blatant actor/musician and actually building intrigue. You are basically telling that these games should have 0 marketing which will never happen. That’s just stupid. The reason I’m hyped for this call of duty and will eventually pick this game up is the return to vorkuta and the amazing speculation and story telling around it with an unsolved black ops 1 mystery with reznov possibly still being alive. Another part is the small bits of gameplay I did see really interested me into playing the multiplayer with it being a mix of the best of black ops.
It’s not that they shouldn’t have marketing. It’s that they use the same tactics that are proven to not translate to the games actually living up to fans’ expectations. I do believe th bo6 marketing has been strong so far.
I dont get cod every year just like how i dont get a wrestling game every year, i wait and see and plus i play other things im luckily out of that endless loop each year ever since cod bo4
Smart. Way better games out there.
i'll get BO6 if someone makes a crack for it. other than that, i'll probably have to wait for a sale or something
Fair
I personally will only pre-order Treyarch games from now on, Treyarch has never made a bad game (except MAYBE BO4), and Cold War was one of my favorite CoD games of all time!
Always excited to see what they have in store for us!
And plus.. I'm way more excited for BO6 then I ever was for MWIII
