Tengo tres hijas: de 17, 15 y 13 años y conocen muy bien a Cat Stevens. De hecho, con mi hija mayor vimos juntos su actuación. Es que Cat traspasa generaciones. Yo crecí junto a su música, así que lo de anoche fue un sueño hecho realidad y creo que ahora puedo morir tranquilo y en paz. También quiero destacar al guitarrista de la banda, ALUN DAVIES, quien acompaña a Cat Stevens desde principios de los años 70. Si ven videos de sus presentaciones de esa época, el "jovencito rubio de corte de pelo a lo príncipe valiente" es Alun Davies, bueno, el mismo que hoy está más viejo, gordito y que anoche usó un jockey y pasó casi "piola", pero ha sido fundamental en la carrera de Cat.
Preséntame a tus hijas porfa quiero conocer mujeres de mi edad que les guste la buena música xd, nah es broma amigo aunque igual me gustaría en el fondo conocer gente de mi edad que escuche a Cat Stevens o la música que escucho yo jejeje, saludos

Vunderbar!! I think this could be the best concert I've ever seen. I forgot how good Yusef Cat Stevens could be! He's definitely in touch with his heart, with all the inevitable pain that entails. His poetry is stunning, always so surprising, so deeply truthful, like the Sufi's. He has the ability to be vulnerable without being weak, sad, without being self pitying, warm, without being sentimental. His searching poetry still stuns me.....

Another favorite is Yousef's Cafe for another great listen! May the Almighty Creator watch over you, and spreading Peace throughout the world! Soy un Sub 30. El buen gusto musical lo heredé de mi viejito. Justamente ayer pude presenciar el show de un grande... Junto a mi viejo... Fue un viaje express a mi infancia.... Olor a madera, acompañando a mi taita en la pega, escuchando Cat Stevens, The Doors, Neil Diamond, ELO, Bee Gees y tantos otros en una radio pequeñita.... Y mi viejito, lijando madera cantaba "morning has broken".... Un resumen de una infancia feliz👍 Lejos (junto con ser padre) la mejor experiencia de mi vida... +David Beja His voice holds up pretty well IMO. Although it has a bit of gravel that wasn't there back in the day, a good singer can use that. Furthermore, I doubt very much that he didn't sing for 35 years. Just not publicly.

I never expected Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) to be very popular in Chile. I couldn’t have been more wrong - the reaction of the audience is simply ardent. Yusuf himself seems to be surprised and said, “You’re too kind to an old man.” - Hahaha ... He is a most honest/humble singer-songwriter with zero affectation and can reach the hearts of his listeners. As a matter of fact, on this vid you can see quite a few people in the audience crying … there’s something natural about him that touches the heartstrings of people (regardless of age and gender). I like Yusuf even better than Cat. He has become a better singer in his old age. His voice has gained depth and he now can sing the blues marvelously, which Cat really couldn’t. Estuve en la puerta este año 2017 de la quinta Vergara , no se me ocurrió entrar, pero viendop a un célebre cantor que traspasa las generaciones, maravilló a todos con canciones como "Morning has broken" (para mi la mejor de él), hubier besado el escenario donde estuvo 2 años antes. This guy impressed me so much 45 yrs ago - was in our playlist with all the other 70's great. Great memories cruising down the road in a Wildcat convertible blasting our music - Cat Stevens, Yes, Zeppelin, Stones, Tull, the Who, Sabbath, Simon and Garfunkel, just to name some of them. Cat Stevens was part of our fun.

Viña del mar es un gran escenario y gran publico, se merecen un artista como el gran Car Stevens, es unico y vale la pena solo haber estado ahi escuchandole. El festival ya de por si vale la pena pero con cantantes de esta magnitud aun mejor.
Siete años después, me entero de que esta leyenda de la música estuvo en Viña. Qué suerte de los hermanos chilenos la de tener a este histórico en vivo y en directo. Saludos desde Perú.

Had everything on reel 2 reel,it was a Revox gx450d.Bought it in Germany in 1977,lol from an old-fashioned rock &roller.

Viña del mar es un gran escenario y gran publico, se merecen un artista como el gran Car Stevens, es unico y vale la pena solo haber estado ahi escuchandole. El festival ya de por si vale la pena pero con cantantes de esta magnitud aun mejor.
