I am listening to this after not hearing his music for like 15 years. As a child I listened to this album while falling asleep not understanding a single word English as far as I remember. But to this day these songs are stuck in my head and I am able to sing along even. I LOVE MUSIC !

I love Midday (Avoid City After Dark). The sights & sounds of day-time activity juxtaposed against the more ominous warnings regarding venturing out at night. But, then - there is this amazing shout chorus from the horns that just sounds like irrepressible JOY to me. This song makes me smile all over.🤗

I had to wait until Britain iTunes released this album to the US, and I got it as quickly as possible. I loved Cat Stevens and when introduced to Yusuf through Roadsinger, I had to go back and fill in the blanks in my list of Yusuf/Cat Stevens. Best thing I’ve done for myself.

Each song has meaningful memories and meaning would understand why I love this song amazing version I was born in 19560's I just love listening over stay cos I was locked up for smoked a joint in Epsom then tobacco when I was confused. I started to listen to capitalise to by yusuf I just listening to cat are fantastically memory in a institution.
Love this album
Many other singers of his time had to go unplugged to stay relevant. For Yusuf, his long absence makes his music fresh, minus all those years he did not make music. So he is only rejuvenating while the others are on their way down. I believe Yusuf will be productive is the coming years to come. To listen this kind of music, you need to find a beautiful quiet place and lit a candle and let your mind fly away into nowhere land.
