You've convinced me I need to go when I head up to Boston in a couple of months. I've been resistant to visiting because I was wary of the way the history might be leveraged so it's awesome to have a tour company you recommend. 🤩

That's so cool that you've gone!! It's become such a tourism hub in that time. It's wild the stories I hear about Salem in the fall... packed streets, lines to enter shops... it's so wild for me to imagine because it was so calm when I was there!

Working at schools, my students always really loved when their English teachers taught The Crucible!! Specifically because then you were able to get into so many important topics, such as the Cold War and the Witch Trials!!

I've only spent one day in Salem but I really loved it! We were in Boston and took the bus/train thing there 😂 and it was a blizzard haha. We only did the Hawthorne house, Witch Museum, and the harbor....I think we went to a comic bookstore too 😂 I really need to go back!

The architecture in Salem is stunning and the history is so intriguing. I'm a Hocus Pocus fan and would love to see where some of the movie was filmed. Yes I was using my phone! Something that really helped me was looking up the best settings for recording video for my iphone. That really helped amp up the quality!!

The history behind the witch trials are extremely frustrating and kind of fascinating. The more you know the sadder it gets imo because they really did that just because??? and with no consequences.

Oh my gosh 4 HOURS IN SALEM?? Talk about a whirlwind! Do you live pretty close by it to visit again sometime soon for more time there? I would think 2 days minimum would be sufficient!
@@happyhauntslibrary We just looked it up and we live about 6 hours away, but the reason for the brief trip was we were headed to Rhodes Island and Krista suggested we make the brief detour on our way there. We ran around as best as we could and then headed to our actual destination. We are hoping to go later this year though!
