I would have added proctors ledge (witch hanging site) and memorial, Salem village parsonage and maritime museum too. There's a lot of shops and awesome places to eat and visit. If you come during summer time its cheaper less lines and same spooky feel. Hope you visit again. Btw there's a castle (Hammond castle) outside of Salem in Gloucester worth visiting. Plus ferry to Boston is cheap and definitely worth the visit too. For a cheaper visit hare are a few suggestions , probably spend half or less if you do these things. 1. Book flight and hotel combo package. 2. plan half to full year in advance. 3. Go summer or early fall not October. 4. walk, uber, ferry or train are the easiest to get around in Salem most things are walking distance. 5. Hotels outside of downtown Salem are usually cheaper however Hotel Salem is in the heart of it all and reasonably priced however there's 2 bars in there. One is the rooftop bar and its busy usually so nights are still a little loud but the view contemporary aesthetic and local bars, price and location more than make up for it. 6. Lastly the trolley and ferry are great both are their own tours you get see surrounding areas and it is some of the best ways to get around.
I know this is off subject, but I'm in Pittsburgh, so therefore Gettysburg is within driving distance. If you ever have the opportunity to visit there in the Fall it is one of the eeriest experiences you'll ever have, plus they have bookstores everywhere, including 1 massive store. It is the most haunted town in the US.
Speaking of Fall eats every year candy corn looks delicious. Orange, yellow, white candy, it looks tremendous yet I never learn. Dunkin donuts pumpkin swirl coffee is like hot heaven in a cup, peace.
I'm not sure that combination even exists here lol. What part of Canada are you in? You're lucky you have Tim Hortons, their caramel coffee is tremendous
salem witch museum is old.... I went there as a kind in 1972,,then again in 2019...and it was the same...same for the witch dungeon had not changed either.......sadly for me salem has become too commercial and cheesy
Philippians 2:10-11 New King James Version (NKJV) that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Amen!
I am planning a trip to Salem in a couple weeks. Very informative video. Thank you!
@@mikesullivan9554 I hope you have a marvellous time!
Thanks for the useful tips! You saved me so much time. I will definitely check out the spot where Max got his shoes stolen 😂 and the seafood spot.
Nicely done overview of Salem!

I'm going to Niagara Falls in November for the 1st time since high school. Are you aware of any good book spots near there?
@@TerryMccarthy-s3r sorry I’ve only been there once too…many moons ago
What part of Canada are you in? I have Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver on my bucket list, but Vancouver would be a terribly long flight

Candy corn with salted peanuts is the only way to eat them.
