I have been loving the Born to Glow foundation, but I am not a big foundation wearer. I end up mixing 2 drops of it in with my moisturizer and it gives me the exact coverage I prefer while not drying out my skin

My skin is dry as well, and I put a tiny bit of heavy moisturizer mixed with this nyx, worked well for me

Thanks for subscribing! I tried the Nars sheer glow years ago and it’s one of those tricky ones that’s definitely meant more for normal to oily skin to give a glow. Not hydrating enough for me
I'm so excited... my poreless putty primer came today! Hahaha, it was like Christmas morning for me! When I opened it up, my 7yo son just looked at me like "really, Mom?" because I've been trying to get it since December, lmao. I was really interested in trying this foundation, but I think I'm going to pass now. I have extremely sensitive, dry skin with tons of complications from having Lupus, so thank you for this review. I'm so glad I found your channel, seriously. I totally trust your opinion and you are just so happy and so sweet! What are your top drugstore/high-end foundation favorites for very dry skin? I own about 45 foundations, and I feel like I'll never stop looking, lol.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this video!!!! It was my first time to your channel and I'm DEFINETLY subscribing!!!! I can't wait to try this foundation out on my dry/mature/sensitive skin. Also, I LOVE the ELF Putty Primer and the Makeup Geek Stippling Brush. You talked about SO many things that I enjoy using. I also wanted to let you know that BH Cosmetics brushes are VERY hit and miss. I've never purchased any singles. I've always purchased sets and, for example, the brush set comes with 10 brushes, about 4-6 of them are worth reaching for. But I have seen/heard people RAVE about their single brushes. If you do end up trying BH Cosmetics brushes please let us know what you think. I also LOVE Milani brushes and Flower Beauty brushes. My favorites are honestly from Morphe and IT Cosmetics. The IT Cosmetics dual-ended heavenly luxe brush is SO incredible!!!!!!!! Sorry for leaving such a long comment 😕😕 Thanks again for a WONDERFUL video 😘😘😘 Also LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Shop Miss A products!! Their brushes are AMAZING and I LOVE the Super Soft sponge. I placed a Shop Miss A order a few months ago, ended up ordering like 88 products and out of all 88 items there were only like 5 I was disappointed about!!! SO incredible!!!! And thank you SO much for talking about denatured alcohol in products that claim to be glowy. I've seen SOOOO many people do videos on the Loreal Pro Glow foundation and NEVER mentioned that alcohol is in the first 5 ingredients 😕😕 And then dry skin people wonder what the hell is going on. So thanks again for mentioning this, and I'm sorry for such a long comment ❤

It does contain alcohol denat towards the bottom of the list, the UD setting spray has it too.
Yeah I normally don’t use the all-nighter spray from UD. I like the chill one better for my dry skin
I thought that was the good alcohol though?
The NYX Bare With Me foundation mixes well with other foundations when I need more hydration. It works well with the Maybelline Dream Urban foundation, which is too dry for my very dry skin. You can try mixing foundations, too!
My friend just got me the Bare with me! I’m gonna test that out soon! Maybe I’ll try mixing
Alix Lola I’m going to have to find something to mix the maybelline urban cover foundation with something bc by itself doesn’t work at for me. I’ve got very dry skin too. I really had my hopes up that it would be a lot more dewy and more like the IT cosmetics cc cream
@@brittfansler9541 I agree, the Maybelline Dream Urban foundation is not as dewy as IT Cosmetics. I like the SPF50, though, so I make it work by moisturizing well and wearing a hydration primer underneath, and mixing it with the NYX Bare With Me. Plus, I don't set it!
Btw, the new NYX Born to Glow foundation works great on my very dry skin! I think it'll be my go-to foundation for the colder months. You may want to try it.
Alix Lola I really want to try the born to glow foundation! I think that would be really good for my dry skin and w the maybelline I’ll try that and mixing it with some other stuff. I’m also really interested in the new urban decay stay naked foundation. I saw that it went for sale today at both ulta and Sephora, but I’m waiting till it’s in store so I know I’m getting the right shade.

I know its a neutral undertone but did it show yellow any? Im neutral undertone but some foundations that are neutral are yellow on me.
I would say maybe a wee bit more yellow that like any pink
How weird, before I saw this video I bought this foundation in the same two colors and had the same exact patchy issues and the lines on my nostrils just like you. Wanted to see if anyone else had those issues and i found my answer. Wish there was a solution to it because I love the glowy look.
If you love a glow some of my drugstore favorite foundations are Maybelline dream urban cover and wet n wild photo focus dewy foundation!

Tough question. Drugstore I have loved my milani but that Maybelline dream urban cover might have to be a new favorite. High end o would say hourglass vanish foundation

It’s a really good foundation but its more of a soft matte or satin finish on me.
Yeah maybe more glowy for oily to normal skin

Same thing happens to me around my nose. Someone told me to try dandruff shampoo to clean that area and it worked! I use it once a week and it’s been gone for weeks now.
I heard the same and I tried it but maybe not enough lol. Luckily my insurance covers the lotion that works really well
Wow, that's really interesting! Someone had told me tea tree oil is really good for that, as well
Funny as this does not have alcohol, but the maybelline dream urban cover does have alcohol.

This foundation is just what you paid for, if you want a better product then splurge and buy it .
There’s definitely cheaper foundations out there that are better. Dont necessarily have to splurge
