You literally are my shade twin for life. Literally everything is too easily pink, too yellow or might be too olive on us.
Let me just say you are my #1 trusted source for foundation reviews! I'm not your exact shade but we have the same undertones, so it's super extra helpful! And I really really appreciate that you actually wear it for a full day, and not the 4-5 hours I typically see from makeup influencers these days. That's an influencer workday, not the reality for most of us!

Nice, I love NARS for complexion products in general so it's exciting when they release a new foundation. I love their radiant tinted moisturiser and their radiant longwear foundation liquid and cushion, and the concealers.
I work in a NARS boutique and I thought the EXACT same thing! So patchy! I have dry skin and I found that it clung to dry patches in my face even after I freshly exfoliated and moisturized. I think this works better for oily skin but it has an 8 hour wear which isn’t impressive. I’m sad it didn’t work out but sheer glow is still here to stay!
I think I am quite interested after your review of their light reflecting pressed setting powder after watching this review. Looks perfect for touch up on-the-go.

I have dry skin and I recently purchased this foundation after recommendation from an Ulta associate. I found this video searching for how to apply this because I am literally having the SAME issues. I’m not a powder gal so much, I literally just set lightly when need be. I enjoy a decent dewey look (probably cuz I’m 40 😒) NOT greasy, just a light dew from the morning fog 😂

I’ve always used SantFe love the undertone of that one. However, I need a shade darker. Whenever I try Stromboli it has always been to orange.
This pressed powder works with a brush better! It's translusent and not detectable on the skin, but it's there!! (it sets the makeup, and you could feel the difference when touching the skin) - with a puff it's too much powder))) =)
Not sure if the camera or of my tv is switching up the color representation I'm seeing cuz the 1st swatch seemed to melt into your actual skin the best.

Nars sheer glow is my HG of HGs!! I used to use Stromboli but got the new shade Messine and it makes my skin look so glowy!! I think I'll pass on this one and stick to SG.

That powder was my question. I bought the white and the Sunstone and I just couldn't use either. The Sunstone was too orangey and the white was Not translucent. It looked like viscous highlighter so I have it away.

For me, this lasted so well but made my pores look so bad! My pores have never really been a problem but honestly, this foundation made me look like an orange lol. Definitely try a sample though, the colour match was like spot on for me

I love nars but Stromboli is just too yellow I agree. If they cut down the yellow a bit it would be perfect. I always have to mix my shade 😞 I love this formula and now want to buy a shade to mix it with.
Hey Sam! At the 5:12 mark you said you used M3 Barcelona but the chart you showed at the beginning reflects M3 as being Stromboli. Could you please clarify which one was correct? 😅☺️
You're right, I noticed that too. Sephora shows M3 being Stromboli, which is what she said at 2:13. So that's probably it. I'm glad she showed these colors because I was choosing online between Punjab and Stromboli, as well.

I feel like nars is going downhill in foundations hit or miss.
What also is funny is the radiant foundation in the mini bottles at Ulta was fantastic although limited shade range. They increased shade range and I bought full bottle at Sephora it totally kinda sucks. Not same formula at all. Makes ya wonder

Most NARS are $49 in my area. So idk. It expensive but worth it. The Radiant longwear and Sheer glow are my favorite ever foundations. I’m not a full coverage girl but I didn’t like their tinted moisturizer or whatever it was. Not for me. I just sheer it out and it’s perfect.

Stromboli is waaaay too orange for me. Sephora ColorIQ matched me as Stromboli back when Nars made an All-Day Luminous Powder Foundation with SPF 24, but that's because my forehead is much darker and warmer than the rest of my face/body. If I match my foundation to my forehead, I look like a pumpkin. I use it as a contour/bronzer color.
Thanks for all the high-def closeups. This one is a pass for me. Too patchy, clings to dry spots, and flashbacks like lightning. Their Radiant Longwear Foundation also only looks good for about 15 minutes, then it separates and turns gross. Nars eyeshadows and lip crayons are not the best, either. I basically only like their Radiant Creamy Concealer out of every Nars product that I've tried.

So I got this foundation a couple weeks ago from Bzzz Agent & it's a NO for me. It settled SO BAD into .y fine lines that it aged me like 10 years! So disappointing.

Stromboli looks too yellow for your skin...I know you have pale skin and want more color, but maybe would've looked better with another shade

I love the new Charlotte Tilbury foundation and I have combination skin. I just use a very light layer and use it like a tinted moisturiser as I prefer light coverage. Using a sponge facilitates that perfectly.
@@Sally_30 yes I’ve been loving it! I tried it with my fingers and didn’t like how it looks. Sponge looks natural but with a little bit of coverage and makes my skin feel hydrated. I kinda want to try the Nars one just to see which one I like more
