When you added the double row of the lightest blue all of a sudden it reminded me of a pair of Petit Point earrings I got in Vienna many years ago. Different colors and design but a nice memory. I only wish I knew where those earrings are today! Oh - turning the rock is fine. Shows us beginners it's a valid thing to do.

Love your videos. I have trouble drawing a nice smooth petal and keeping all six the same width. The joy of painting on stones is that you get to just try it again on another one. Your easy explanation and step by step video makes it easy and fun. I find painting stones a great stress reliever. Thanks for sharing your videos.

  • @Wildflower1880

Miranda, I know it was stressful for U to have Giuseppe making his little sounds in the background, but it truly BLESSED my heart to hear him, Kids will be kids, just like the rest of Urs, All of R's out here on the other side of the screen have the same issues as U do... We can't keep R kids quiet either when we feel that it would be an embarrassment for them to make sounds or say something. ... Here maybe this will help U to feel better...
When my kids were little my husband @ the time had taken us out to dinner @ a fairly nice restaurant, however they did have booths.
We all had eaten R meal & a rather Large man was sitting W/A group of men in the booth behind R's. Piper my middle daughter kept popping up & standing up looking over the top of the booth @ these men. I finally got her to sit down & behave herself when the Rather Large man let out a very large & loud belch, not saying anything about it such as pardon me or anything of that nature. I could tell by the look on Piper's face that she was beside herself, & I was just wondering what she was thinking when before I could do or say anything @ all to her, she once again popped up & stood looking over the booth @ the man & in a very LOUD VOICE looking right @ this man stated BOY WHAT A PIG!!!!.... Needless to say I turned 70 shades of red/purple/blue/ GREEN/ & any other color my body could muster up.... The other men @ his table said what ever his name was ...
I guess this little Lady told U now didn't she???? as I slide silently under the edge of the table to the floor hoping I could find something, anything @ all to do under the table until the group of men decided to exit the building. Even my Ex-Husband was beside himself & @ a loss for words..
So my dear sweet Lady never worry about Giuseppe making his sounds like ALL little kids do..... He's just being a little boy...

I watch a lot of videos 🤪 most people turn the peiece. If you watch somebody paint two or three areas and let’s say their hand gets in the way for the fourth it should be easy to figure out what they’re doing.

A lot of mine I do varnish with a clear coat that has UV protectant. So I can put them up at yes. Also I put them on stands around my home for art pieces. Some people use them as paperweights on their desks. Some people hide them in public for others to find a little gem

I appreciate your patience in teaching us "step by step. You are so very talented. I have a question, where may I find flat smooth rocks, and an angle spot brush? Thanks again for your amazing, motivating videos.

@@diannethornburg5697 Thank you for your kind words. the angle spot detailer is on Amazon. It is made by princeton. There should be links in video descriptions. As far as stones, I walk beaches and river beds, but many people ha e found their local landscaping companies to be very helpful. Sometimes they will let you bring a bucket and fill it with stones you want for a set price. There is also a company on Amazon called Capcouriers they have some wonderful stones for painting and they will ship to ypur home.

I think turning the stone is okay! That’s what I would do and it helps me to visualize what you are doing because I’d see what you see!

Thank you very much for this didactic video. The brush you use is bought this way or is a normal one folded?

HI! I love your instructions and your colors, I would like to see a natural rock dotted without that first coat of paint? I am the old lady in Eagle Nest, NM. that just started this art form and love it. Thanks again for your patience.

Welcome aboard this new fun adventure. Feel free to ask any questions you might have but I also encourage you to join some of the art group that are on Facebook. There are some very helpful people in love. I'll try to see if I can find a few more of my videos that are on Natural Stone to post the links here for you.
