👋 hello, great video! I really think you would love The Sopranos. It’s considered a crime show but it is so much more than just that. It’s one of the funniest shows ever made with also dealing with huge themes like life and death, family, free will, and many many more things. I believe it is the most layered TV show ever made, you can talk about it for ever!

Beautifully grotesque cinematography, an engaging story and incredible actors especially Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal Lecter .
The relationship between Hannibal and Will is also the most interesting relationship i've ever seen on screen

Colette, Anne with an E, Mildred Pierce, Sense and Sensibility, The Imagineering Story (docu-series) are some of my favs.
I love sense8 which is very underrated😭😭😭.. Hannibal is on my list to watch. Hopefully next year but I will ❤️❤️❤️.

Hannibal is so amazing
I love Stranger Things, Sex Education, The End of the F***ing World. I feel like you would love Bojack Horseman. It's an animated show and it's really well written. The characters are all amazing and complex and there is great psychology and commentary on society. I also highly recommend watching Better Call Saul (but perhaps Breaking Bad first). Both are wonderful shows, that are very interesting in terms of character psychology, with wonderful acting and cinematography. Also, I just started watching Mr Robot, so I can't tell you much about it yet, but it seems really interesting.
My favorite show is Twin Peaks (1990-1991)! I've seen it, um... at least 10 times. I've lost count, lol! It's about Special Agent Dale Cooper coming to the town of Twin Peaks, Washington to investigate the murder of high school student Laura Palmer. It's a murder mystery that also has soap opera vibes and some otherworldly elements. It's really best going into it not knowing much and if you try to look stuff up, you WILL encounter spoilers. I'm not sure if you'd be into it, but I at least wanted to mention what my favorite show is. Other favorites of mine are: The Killing, The Sopranos, Orphan Black, Penny Dreadful, Six Feet Under, Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel (I tend to group these together), Friday Night Lights, and Heroes.
I haven't seen all of these shows, but based on the one's you talk about here you might be interested in: Deadwood, Halt & Catch Fire, Justified, The Americans, Fargo, and The Killing (there is the original Danish show and American show, I've only seen the American and is in my favorites list).
To be honest, I find it somewhat difficult to figure out if you would like something. Sometimes there are things that I feel pretty confident about, but sometimes there's an element that I'm not sure you'd be into or maybe you've expressed dislike towards before, so then I'm like, okay but would she like everything else about the song/show/movie. That's just a vague explanation. And then there's just the difference between some of our opinions/taste that make me hesitant to fully recommend things. Plus, I think something we have in common is that we can easily compare our favorite things to recommendations that are supposedly similar, which can influence expectations going into that recommendation.
Also, I'm surprised Fleabag isn't here.
*Sense8* is a BRILLIANT show and visually STUNNING. I really wish this series would have continued. The only minor negative I can say about the show is the recasting of Capheus in the 2nd season(recasting always annoys me, but I get over it eventually 😜).

Still not exactly sure... I see articles saying there were rumors of transphobia, but Jamie Clayton(Nomi) said that wasn’t true... But then there are tweets of her saying otherwise... So who knows 🤷🏻♂️
I love Stranger Things. I enjoyed seeing Eleven has supernatural powers and Dustin's swearing. And I love the 1980s too, music and movies.

A runner-up is True Detective seasons 1 and 2.
I love love procedural/crime/thriller/psychological shows. I live vicariously through them XD

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is like watching my own family on screen. I have only heard about being a Jewish American in the 1950s from so many of my relatives. It is as true as it can get.

Hey :) i think you would really like Babylon Berlin. It's a german show, but it should be on Netflix for the US. I live in Europe and watched it in german, so I am not exactly sure, if it is dubbed or just subbed. I absolutly love this show, its a crime show and it takes place in Berlin in the 1920s. For now there are 3 seasons out, but I think the 3rd isn't on Netflix yet, but I think it should be in a bit?

I don't know if you'll see this comment since this video is from a month ago, but I think you'd love Over the Garden Wall! It's an animated limited series that has stunning visuals, beautiful music, and really loveable characters. It's also eerie at times, and is basically the epitome of the fall aesthetic. It's very bingeable, since all episodes are only 12 minutes, and there's many things that you pick up on upon rewatch. I hope you check it out!
The creator said that they plan on ending Peaky Blinders when the WWII air sirens going off and Tommy remembering what it meant!
This isn't super similar to any of the shows you mentioned, but before watching Hannibal (which I love) I had watched Downton Abbey and really fell in love with that. It's a period piece, but pretty fast-paced compared to other ones. I also think it's shot pretty nicely, showing all the glamour of the the abbey and whatnot. Oh I also really enjoyed Alias Grace, which I think you might enjoy.
Alias Grace was so interesting! I think i saw it in a day !
The Haunting of Bly Manor comes out later this week. Exciting to check out that one. At least we got a finale special for Sense8 instead of ending on that cliff hanger. I'm still holding out hope for Hannibal being revived.
Kind of in this vein, you might like The OA. It was 2 seasons and done. And I've been told Pushing Daisies is very cute, from the creator of Hannibal, but more lighthearted.

Peaky Blinders and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel are wonderful. Two of my favourites series. If you did not watch it I recommend you Dark, it is very interesting and innovated.

As someone who love the gore in Hannibal as well, I think you may like the miniserie Drácula, from the creadores of the BBC's Sherlock. Also I'm finally going to start Mindhunter thanks to this videos. 😊

Stories For Coffee with great trepidation because idk how you feel about stand up....but I love John Mulaney comedy specials. Yes he’s a very basic white man, but he makes me giggle. I think since I know you like schitts creek and bobs burgers, too...maybe he’ll work for you
