Where I live hunters can't hunt turkeys after 1 pm in fact it says hunters must be out of the woods by 1 pm. I know your not actually hunting but if a game warden would see you doing this couldn't he site you for pursuing game after hours?
As long as your not carrying a gun your on a hike, nothing they can do
